Rate this book

These are films that are hilariously terrible and make for a great night of movie watching with friends. Over the top action, explosions, car chases, and towns where everyone knows martial arts await you as you explore the often ignored world of low budget, direct to video, trash films made with lots of heart but not a lot of money. Films include Samurai Cop, Miami Connection, Revenge of the Ninja, and Parole Violators and films from studios like Cannon, PM Entertainment and the films of Andy Sidaris. So pull up your zubaz, comb your mullet, grab your long-butt-bikini clad girl, strap on your uzi, and stroke your mustache because this is going to be a wild ride!

A fine tribute to the sleaze and cheese of B-movie action cinema

This book is a fine collection of short reviews of low-budget action flicks of the 80s and 90s. Nothing terribly in-depth, the opinions range from "this is awesome" to "this kinda sucks", but the author's enthusiasm carries the book over its rough patches.

This book is very informative if you are totally into watching bad movies for fun. I definitely am, so this added way too many movies to my want to watch list. It is not well written, but the recommendations make it worth reading. I am looking forward to checking out even more bad movies.

Not bad, it reads like a buddy talking about all the crazy movies he loves. It is a great book for fans of cheesy action movies.
