When Sheriff Grayson Beckett decides to take shelter during a snowstorm at his cabin located on his property, the last thing he expects is to be assaulted by an intruder—a naked intruder. Vivian Dayton needs somewhere to live temporarily so when the mother of one of her students suggests she stay at her brother’s cabin, she is grateful. Little does she know but the brother is a tall, good looking man who also happens to be the local sheriff. Thankfully, he forgives her for knocking him on the head with a vase and when he agrees to let her stay for as long as she needs, her greater problem becomes her attraction to him. Gray didn’t think he wanted a relationship but from the first moment he meets the gorgeous, Vivian, he can’t seem to think about anything other than her and the way she looked naked when he surprised her that stormy night. She steals his heart in a way no other has, but Vivian only plans to teach in Hartland until a job comes open in Helena. If that happens, will he be able to let her go?

There is many things I liked about this book, first there's Gray. He is the local sheriff who loves his job and his town. He seems to be liked by most people and felt protected. He has a great family and fun friends I liked that while it always seemed like he had a lot going on, he always made sure that Vivian felt special. He really was a perfect book boyfriend I also really liked that he was someone who said what thought and felt, this was especially fun during the sexy times.
Vivian was a great character. She is this kind, warm and friendly woman who is a great teacher. I loved that she wanted a dog and got the dog that was described in the book. I wished she has been a little more forthcoming about her relationship with her ex. It could have solved a lot of problems.
I have to say my absolute favorite part has to be the chair scene. A close second has to be the double date between Gray and Vivian and Gray's sister and her husband. That scene had me laughing out loud.
Grayson and Vivian were not looking for love when he stumbles onto her, naked, in his cabin. This story gave me all the warm and fuzzy feelings with a dose of super steamy sexy scenes. Both have been burned in the past and have no desire to fall in love again but sometimes it just doesn't work that way. These two are perfect for each other but can they figure that out before it all falls apart? Ms. Davis is one of the best authors of western romance. Her cowboys are hot and her woman are the no nonsense, take charge kind of women I love reading about. You can bet I'll be going back and reading this book over and over!!
This is a beautiful love story. Grayson is sexy cowboy that knows what he wants when he fine it..Driving in the snow Gray instead of going to the house he goes to the cabin because it is safer , when gets there , he knows someone is there so he pull out his gun and goes in the fine a beautiful woman wrap up in a towel , she gets scare and drop the towel Gray goes to give it to-her and she pickup a vase and hit him over the head with it ,than she noice he’s the sheriff Good book📕💯👍🏽
Grayson and Vivian Wow Susan Fisher Davis you rope another will written 5 star journey. Emotions flowed. Past reared its ugly head but you brought the journey full circled. Pages pulled you in Characters captivated you everything you like in a read is here. You wont want to put it down
I wish I could go to Montana.. The men are gorgeous and the know how to treat and love a woman. Now if this is not true. The writer makes it seem to be true. You make it feel like this could be real life. Is there really any love that strong?
A good story about two people unlucky in love, who find love a first sight but are afraid to trust it. A little steamy but not XXX rated and with lots of laughs.
Grayson: The best one to end with. I loved how Grayson and Vivian met it was perfect. I loved how Grayson cared so much for his family, and his town. He is hot in uniform. He needed to find the right woman after what he had been through. Even though he kept saying he would never settle down all his brothers laughed at him because they all went through it. I loved how he also cared about his animals. Roxy was his pride and joy. Even though he and Vivian met under an unusual situation he knew he was attracted to her. They both had bad love experience so it was hard to admit that there were sparks and love between them. I loved how the story was written and the characters are all great.
