Thirty-something, Shawntriece, is a well-paid executive at a Fortune 500 corporation. Her life is practically perfect — at least to her it is. She has a beautiful home, an expensive car, a family who loves her, and two adorable twin daughters to cherish and spoil. However, despite everything that she has in the material world, she's sorely lacking in the spiritual realm. I like sweet romances, so I enjoyed this book. Bad things happen to good people but God still should get his praise. I would've gave this book a 4.5, but since that wasn't an option, I chose to give it a 5 because it was a good story.

"Grace After The Rain" by Taretha Jones
My Sentiments:
'Grace After The Rain' was a lovely Christian romance featuring Calvary and Shawntrience. It was beautiful seeing how this author brought these two together, with it all being from the friendship with their children. With Calvary being such a good person and serving the Lord, he was just what Shawntrience needed in her life. Shawntrience had been dealt a hard life of what had happened to her as a teenager. And for Calvary, he had lost his wife through death. By Calvary becoming involved with Shawntrience, it was beautiful how God came in for her. Due to what happened to her, will faith and trust be brought back into her life? As we read, we see that through this friendship, so will love be felt between the two? As everything was going well for these two, you know how the devil will bring in something to destroy the essence of it all.
Now to get the story, you must pick up 'Grace After The Rain' to see how it all comes out for these two. It was a good read of how, with 'Calvary's prayers and Shawntriece's renewed faith in God, there be a b healing for both of them.'

Absolutely loved it!
This was the first book that I’ve read by Taretha Jones and it definitely will not be the last. I enjoy Christian Romance Novels and this book was no exception. It displayed the lack of faith in one’s life after experiencing a traumatic event and how God places someone in your life to bring you back to Him.

AWESOME READ!!
This book was a great demonstration of faith and trust! Everything is NOT always as it appears, and sometimes we move to hastily away from situations that don’t look favorable, to the point that we miss the blessing that is about to come from it! This was an awesome read…one I needed right now!!!

Easy Reading
I am always reading murder mysteries.. So I decided to go another way and I chose this Christian romance novel . It was
very easy reading and it kept emphasizing a lot of the well known verses from The Bible that reflect situations that each and every one of us faced day-by-day.

Loved the story
First time reading this author's work. I'm impressed by the story, correct grammar and the use of bible scriptures and prayer. The story was great, I cheered and got teary. I am reminded to always trust God and Romans 8:28. Happy that I bought three other books.

Love the characters
Both of the main characters were great they wanted a complete family but were afraid of committing . But they both couldn't admit at first they loved each other.

Nice Chrisitan love story. Calvary and Shawntriece had a friendship that blossomed into love. Calvary knew God was placing him in Shawntrice's life to stir her back to her faith. Their daughters were best friends, so their closeness was also fueled by their love as parents. Calvary was a good father and a man of God, even though the loss of his wife was his pain to bear. Shawntriece's pain was difficult to read about, but she was still a strong, hardworking, loving woman and mother. Calvary knew that with God's help, he would do whatever it took to let her see that not all men are like that sleazy person who violated her. As their friendship grew, so did the love they both felt. Calvary's prayers and Shawntriece's renewed faith in God were a healing blessing for both of them.

I really enjoyed this love story. I have never read this author before but I look forward to reading more of more her work. It is nice to read romance that is backed up by biblical scriptures

Read this one.
Grace After the Rain is a nice happy ending. You get to know the characters and you find yourself wanting the best for them.

An excellent read
My only complaint is that I didn't want the story to end. I was so in love with the characters that I wanted to continue in their story.

I enjoyed this story. However, there were some really laugh out loud moments and I'm not sure it was intentional. I can honestly say I was entertained.

Wonderful story of faith
I wasn’t feeling this book in the beginning but I’m so glad I continued to the end. I felt so happy for Shawntriece and Calvary as their innocent friendship blossomed into a beautiful love story. As Calvary prayed for her and restored her faith in God, she fell head over heels in love with him. Beautiful love story...

God and love won!
This is the first book I read by Mrs. Jones. The writing style (spacing) was different than I am used to but I enjoyed the book. I like the fact it was two Christians that fell for each other. Calvary was a true man of God that heard his voice. Calvary's walk and faith pulled Shawntriece back to God. It also helped that their children were "besties."
A wonderful Christian romance book that is wholesome love. Relax, download, and enjoy.

I enjoyed reading this book. When God speaks to you it's always best to listen. The devil will always find someone to try and destroy what God is doing.
