Willa Bay #3

A Haven on the Bay

Rate this book
Now that the Inn at Willa Bay is well on its way to becoming a premier wedding destination in the Pacific Northwest, chef Meg Briggs hopes it’s finally time for her to realize her own dream -- converting the old barn on the property into a first class restaurant. However, the barn has been a dumping ground for resort castoffs for years and renovations seem a far off prospect. Can a mysterious journal she finds while cleaning out the barn help her find contentment and happiness in unexpected places?

Taylor loves his job as the head chef at a local lodge, but after Meg and the others quit their jobs there, it’s not quite the same. He misses his family in Southern California and maybe it’s time to consider a big move.

Tia’s found her groove as an event coordinator at the Inn, and things are looking up -- until tragedy strikes. Her parents don’t think she can make it on her own in Willa Bay, and maybe she can’t.

Samantha’s made a life-changing decision, but as she tries to move on, life keeps handing her lemons. Improving her future is going to take a brand new outlook and willingness to try new things.

Debbie wants nothing more than to spend quality time with her grandkids and immerse herself in her crafting projects. But, the needs of her family always come first -- until some devastating news changes her perspective.

This isn't the best book in this series, but it is still a really nice read.
Ms. Ellis really has a gift for writing and creating characters...it's almost magical.
There were too many little dramas cluttering up the emotional landscape making it feel as though she was trying to obfuscate some of the obvious directions she was taking the story.
The best part of the book is it is like catching up with friends you don't get to see often. It's a pleasure to visit Willa Bay
Generally, I try to avoid books in a series unless the place and people draw me in and keep me interested. This book did just that...soooo, I bought book #4. I hope this one is at least as good as #3.

I’m not star rating these books as I don’t feel it’s fair as I’m not the target audience. I am reading them because the author has done a great job of creating characters I care about and want to see what happens to them but once I finish Willa Bay I won’t be reading anything else by the author. The book is too sweet, I wanted more depth to the main characters story and whilst it is lovely to get insight into other characters and catch up on previous MCs it felt like it was too much and detracted from the main story

Fun clean read

Book-3 continued with the happy times and sad times of the different characters in this series set in Willa Bay. Although it can stand alone as a complete book it is a fun read that follows each character as their lives intertwine. Plus it is clean without bad language which I like.

Love this series!

I love the fact that there’s no bad language or violence and sexual activity. I normally read Christian Fiction and this is as close to that as you can get without having a Christian character or two.

A haven on the Bay

This is a good easy read. The characters have a way of interacting together and build strong friendships which are strong. They build each other up as they face one problem after another.
