I love to write books about living a fabulous life without spending a lot of money.

I adore mindset work and how we get to be happier and more successful just from looking at things from a different angle. We get to change our circumstances if we want to, and change our thoughts as well.

My goal when I write my books is to provide inspiration, ideas, and reminders for my readers so that they can wear their rose-tinted sunglasses as they live their life. Just like I do!

I have found that everything works out better when you are positive as much as possible. When you expect things to work out for the best. When you have gratitude for all you have. And when you are always looking at how to make your life better, and richer (in all ways). In doing all these things you are elevating the happiness levels of those around you as well as yourself.

Of course life isn't perfect and we all go through sad or difficult times, however I believe when we are starting from a base level of positivity, it makes those times easier to bear.

I love the saying attributed to Queen Elizabeth II's private secretary, who told her that her job was to spread a carpet of happiness wherever she went. I have taken this on as my own life's motto and with my writing too.

I loved this book! I read it all in two days. This book is for anyone that just wants to write for the love of writing and living for yourself. I felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders as I read about how truly easy it really is to publish something. There are so many options out there. She goes into depth about using Kindle Direct Printing. Her story starting with her blog (How To Be Chic) is inspiring.

You do not have to ask anyone for permission to be a writer, one of the many truths gleaned from this book. I highly recommend this book for anyone in a season of frustration who just wants to get on with their life right now.

Inspiring

Thoroughly readable, with great suggestions and action points in each chapter. Fiona has made a far-off dream an achievable goal. Her writing style is authoritative in a very friendly and approachable manner. Reading this book was like having a friend talk me through each step in order. If you dream of being a published author and every book on the subject you have read this far makes it seems impossible, this book is for you.

This book freed me and took away so much of my fear. I always felt like being an author was impossible because I never studied English or creative writing (imposter syndrome, anyone?) yet I've had both fiction and non-fiction books dancing in my head for years. I admire Fiona's vision and gentle determination, she decided one day she WAS an author and carried out her life as such. I know I will dip into this book whenever I need a boost of inspiration and courage. Thank you Fiona.

A conversational approach to basically telling someone how to do something the writer has already mastered. The writing isn’t stuffy or condescending, and I think the casual approach makes something as terrifying/overwhelming as writing your own book feel more easily attainable.
