Eh I didn't love it but didn't hate it. There were a lot of characters from previous books, not just this series, which got to be a little too much. And there was also an overlying story arc happening that involved the entire team that I honestly just didn't care enough about to get intrigued by. Maybe that was my doing since I read this book before the others in the series but I just kept wishing the book would focus more on Reid and Callie

I DNFed it at 54%, it really was too bad to continue reading.
There is absolutely NO chemistry between the 2 main characters, and although the plot could have been good, the dialogues are just too bad and had me rolling my eyes more than once.

Clay, Reid's best friend calls with a request to go to his sister and protect her from a stalker in London. Reid, Liam and Mitch head to London to find a world famous supermodel is Callie, Clay's little sister. The mutual attraction between the tattooed black ops specialist and the glamorous model.
The stalker turns killer, Reid and team step up security as the situation escalates and Callie is taken by an unexpected part of the modeling world. The plot against the Eidolon Group is mixed up in this case and some answers are revealed. This is a great series and I am ready to go on the Liam and find out what happens next.

This was pretty similar to a lot of contemporary romances. The guy is an ex solder who now works protection /mercenary work for another hot guy who exclusively hire hot guys and has endless funds to protect a beautiful young woman, who then becomes the main hot guy's woman

Inevitably the girl who is being protected due to a dangerous situation, is then put in a dangerous situation and our man makes it all about him, it is his fault that she was hurt and he leaves her due to his failures.
So now she is in danger, her heart is broken and she is probably internalizing why he dumped her.
Like she was in danger originally, it's not all about you Reid. We are here for a happy ending and this guy didn't make too much of a mess so he should get it but this was a little empty for me

This fantastic romantic suspense grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. This is my first Maggie Wade book, she is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style, she created interesting storylines and characters that are easy to relate to and connect with, they are likable, east to care about and root for too. Kirk Reid a former special agent for the FBI and current Eidolon black operative living in the UK. When his best friend, Clay, calls asking him to do him a favor he could not say no, his half sister, Callie, who is in the UK may be in danger. Reid visits her with several of his team mates to investigate and to keep her safe. Reid felt an instant to her but she is his best friends sister and can not go there. Callie heard a lot about Reid from her brother, so much that she started to develop a crush on him and after spending some time with him that crush solidifies and deepens. Callie’s stalker has escalated and the team is trying to find out who it is and they are not liking what they are finding. There is never a dull moment in this action packed novel, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, mystery, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions, and a wonderful romance. Maggie Wade, thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

He has a complete understanding of the characters he portrays, gives each a voice that is a perfect fit for that character’s persona, sounds believable in every role he plays and just as I picture the character to sound. I love how he takes each role and makes it his own, also love how much heart he puts into his work as he captures the character’s emotions, projects them into his performance and has you feeling every single one. This talented narrator is a pleasure to listen to, and his narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

I really enjoyed Reid and Callie. I always love a romance with a bodyguard feel, and you can't go wrong with the brother's best friend trope. There was the prefect mix of suspense and romance. I loved watching their relationship grow. I did notice a few typos which I found a bit distracting, but my love for the story outweighed it. 4.5 stars

Wow, I loved this romantic suspense from Ms Wade. `the fact some of the book took part in my neck of the woods definitely added to my enjoyment.
There is a definite mix of adventure and sizzling tension throughout. I loved the main characters Reid and Callie and their relationship as it develops.
Reid is called in to protect his best friend's sister when it's feared that she is being stalked by someone. As a Eidolon operative he's used to danger. He's shocked when he shows up at Callie's place to find out that she is a top supermodel. But blokes have a code of conduct to consider, don't touch your friend's sister.
To say more would give the plot away. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and look forward to reading more of Maddie's books in the near future, even if I have to take a cold shower afterwards. :-)

Holy Hotness this book was absolutely fantastic!!!! Make sure you start it in the morning because you will not be able to put it down. This book will have you hooked and on the edge of your seat and have your heart pounding. Reid's best friend clay ask for his help with his sister Callie,but when a stalker gets out of control and have an ex member who betrayed them can they keep callie and themselves safe? Sparks fly between Reid and Callie but it's his best friends sister and trying hard not to cross that line. All I can say is maddie is absolutely brilliant with this book and added suspense and action packed and chemistry and romance packed with a punch.loved it.

This is a fantastic book! It had me reading til the wee hours of the morning and after a few hours of sleep I was back at it. It is one you don’t want to put down even after the epilogue. This book features Reid and Callie, the half sister of his best friend from childhood. Callie is a model and has a stalker. There is instant attraction, resistance of said attraction because of life experiences by Reid, action, suspense, the return of a betrayer, secrets revealed and hot steamy scenes. You don’t want to miss out on this one!

Reid has everything that you could want in a book. The hot, alpha men of Eidolon are on another mission to figure out their traitor situation. Along the way we see Reid reveal his big heart and his protective side. He has to figure out if he is worthy of Callie’s love. Maddie Wade wrote a wonderful page-turner of a story that will keep you up at night to finish it. I could not put it down. I love this series, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for the team!

OMG, I am so sad that the book is finished. I kept stalling to end this. I care for Reid an Callie so much. They have so much chemistry. They are an extraordinary couple. This book starts right from the beginning when Callie , oh I don’t spoil. The suspense keeps lingering in the background for the whole book and at the same time there is something else going on , with a little extra turn in the end. Maddie you did good . I loved it.

Another great book in the Eidolon series. Reid and Callie battle danger as they deal with their growing feelings, and Maddie builds on the story line arc that has been developing during the series. Reid is battling his own demons, but luckily it all works out and they get their HEA. A few new characters are introduced and the narration helps bring it to life.

I loved this book! It's action packed and had me in the edge of my seat! Reid and Callie have a great chemistry. You will fall in love with them. This is the third book in this series! Can't wait to see who's next! Great job Ms Maddie!! I highly recommend this book and series!

Book 3 in Eidolon Black Ops series and the stories are getting better and better and more intriguing.
This is Reid's story and his attraction to his best friends sister.
Callie is a model who is being stalked and threatened by an unknown... her brother Clay is Reids best friend and he calls upon Reid to help him protect his sister from this stalker.
Reid agrees to help Callie he hadn't seen her in such a long time she was probably only a little girl when he encountered her last.
So when he sees the Beautiful,sexy woman she has become he instantly wants her.
Callie had never officially met Reid she had only seen photographs of him so when this tattooed god comes into her life protecting her,she is instantly attracted to him.
The chemistry and sexual tension between them is palpable,and it is only a matter of time before it explodes regardless of the consequences.
There is also another storyline alongside the stalker one which is solved in this book the traitor is revealed.
This is an Amazing read full of steam and suspense that will keep you on your toes,I could't get enough and listened to this book in a day.
I enjoyed Orcus Auditory's narration of this story his voice flowed effortlessly and I loved his accents it made me smile at his cockney accent.He did a great job.
Maddie Wade has written another heart stopping read I honestly don't know how she keeps making up these stories.They seem to draw you in attracting you like a magnet and your stuck inside the pages until the end.

This is the first time I have listened to a book narrated by Orcus Auditory. It really was an enjoyable experience. I love it when the narration is so good that I can lose myself in a story and not be concerned with gender, or accents, etc.
Reid and Callie's had a lot of chemistry. I was glad she didn't fight him at every turn while he was trying to protect her. I could tell there were a couple of sketchy people in Callie's life.
I really feel for Gunner and his struggle. I have to wonder if, or how he will be able to redeem himself with his Eidolon and For his families.
This was a good listen. A good steamy, romantic suspense, with danger, action, and intrigue. I don't know if there is an audiobook for Mitch, but since I have read every one of these books in this series out of order, I guess it doesn't matter.
TBH, I would suggest the series be read in order because I think they would have been more enjoyable to me that way. If you don't have an issue with reading a series out of order, definitely go for it. It is a good series either way.

Fabulous characters and this plot continues to some degree from the previous book along with new characters and their story. There is some action and suspense which goes hand in hand with a relationship starting and building with some wonderful sexual heat. We get some answers in regards the on-going plot and this will continue on into Liam's book. Maddie writes stories that grip and often have you on the edge of your seat on minute and swooning in delight in another, I love falling in love with her hot guys and strong feisty independent woman, some who are as deadly as the men. I really enjoy the fact that often the various agencies step in to help with protection, firepower or just support in other ways, it adds to the interest and the excitement. I am always happy to hear of a new book coming out so I can get another fix of all these fabulous characters.

Once I started Reid, i couldn't put it down. Reid's tatted up bad boy persona belies the gentle southern Mama's boy underneath. Don't mistake him for a pushover though. He as focused and deadly as they come when the need arises. Falling for Callie, his best friend's baby sister, may not be the smartest move especially when she eyes him like a starving woman who hasn't had a meal in days. Callie is a wildly successful super model who has a stalker. Keeping her safe becomes a priority for the Eidolon team. Meanwhile every team member is hyper vigilant because things keep happening that may involve the traitor to their team.

Callie is a fashion model being stalked her brother calls his best friend Reid to check on her he vows to keep her safe and while doing so they fall in love and he has to tell her brother.
I like that you each book is a stand alone, and the characters are well thought out, and each book gives you a piece of the big picture. I would recommend this book and series for mature readers only (sexual content) that enjoy reading stories that are funny, steamy, suspenseful, and romantic.

This is the third book in the Eidolon Black Ops Series, a Romantic Suspense, and a standalone in an ongoing series. I like this series! Reid and Callie’s story is entertaining, filled with danger, and action. Reid is handsome and very protective. Callie is beautiful, smart, and strong. This is a great best friend's sister forbidden romance. The characters are well developed, and intriguing. The storyline is captivating. Orcus Auditory did an excellent job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Liam, the next book in the series. #SpectrumAudiobooks

Another good listen. Reid is drawn into his best friend Clay’s little sister’s orbit when she needs help with a security issue. Reid and Callie fight their attraction in the beginning but as the danger increases so does the heat. I love the other characters that are brought into the series. Maddie builds characters that you love to see in any book! Reid has demons that he needed to clear up in order to get to his HEA with Callie but once they get there it’s picture perfect. Suspenseful, Best Friend’s Sister, forced proximity HEA.

So. Plot Hole?
Spoilers. So. The bad dudes. Hire Callie’s stalker. Who is in love with Callie’s second stalker. And the bad dudes want to get back at Eidelon. Specifically unaliving Reid and Callie because they want to make them hurt? But the stalker thing happened before Callie met Reid. So. I’m kinda lost here.
It was a decent story. I was hoping to figure out how Callie factored in to these bad guys. But. It never was.
Spoilers. So. The bad dudes. Hire Callie’s stalker. Who is in love with Callie’s second stalker. And the bad dudes want to get back at Eidelon. Specifically unaliving Reid and Callie because they want to make them hurt? But the stalker thing happened before Callie met Reid. So. I’m kinda lost here.
It was a decent story. I was hoping to figure out how Callie factored in to these bad guys. But. It never was.

This book was really bad😂. It had no character development whatsoever and the storyline was boring. I also didn’t like the POV, because it changed all the time.
They knew each other like 2 weeks and thought stuff like: „You’re the love of my life“. And the way Reid talked to her in the beginning?! Who would say something like that?
Anyway, this was not the book for me. I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is an amazing book that well deserves its 5 Stars.
A brothers best friend story with Suspens and mystery. A protector. While they try to figure out who is the culprit the Main Protagonists spend actual time together to get to know each other. The brother was very well developed as well. I am not a big Fan of the subplot which indicates a book down the line of the series but it makes sense for the story so it was fine in the end Overall a very great book.

This is the first book I've read by Maddie Wade and it definitely won't be my last. The story was very interesting and kept my attention but it was the narration by Orcus Auditory that brought it to life. The different voices and accents for each of the characters along with his wonderful narration voice was amazing. I highly recommend reading this via audiobook!

Reid was everything I was hoping for. But the best part was Orcus Auditory’s narration. His voice is absolutely amazing making Reid my favourite Eidolon member so far for smexiness alone.
The story behind the love story is intriguing so I’m jumping onto the next book straight away.
