Carnage follows me wherever I go. So maybe it's not a good idea to go home ...Trailed by the survivors of Vehln, I have to reckon with what I did to the fallen city. But there will be time for that after me and my ladies get through this mounting crisis. There's too many people to look after and nowhere to take them. My best idea is to bring everyone to my hometown, where I can build a city of my own. I'm counting on the help of my trusty companions. And it turns out that Kallie, my tease of a neighbor, might have a part to play too. As we build and plan, there's so much going on that I don't see all the terrible portents until it's almost too late. Kallie isn't the only person from my past who's poised to change my My enemies are coming. And they won't rest until the Eldritch Lord is dead. Can I keep everyone I care about alive? And is protecting my people worth it if it means sacrificing the key to my full potential? This book contains adult content. Read it only if you can handle explicit scenes featuring women, elves, demons, and all three at once.
Marc leads the people of Vehln back to his home of Heathtown only to find it empty, not a single resident to be found. Marc quickly assumes Gavin is responsible and vows revenge. Marc's powers continue to grow and pressure on him continues to rise.
There's lots of action in this one and an emphasis on moving the story forward while Marc continues to walk the line between his demon and elf magic. Marc still gets some "alone time" with his girls though and there's a potential addition to his harem.
