The Kreons invaded our planet with an army of drones and mechanical soldiers. Now we do the only thing we can: we survive, hiding from the visitors as they plumb our world’s depths for whatever drew their ships across the universe.
After my parents disappeared, all I wanted was to keep my brother safe. But when he’s taken for reeducation at one of their controlled compounds, I'll do anything to get him back - including teaming up with a dangerous rebel to break him out. When I'm caught and sentenced to the mines, I discover ancient secrets that are better left buried, and new allies that will force me to trust again… or shatter my faith in humanity.
Stories have power. It's time I fight back.
“5th Wave meets Roswell…”
Worlds Between is an alien invasion romance with dystopian thrills and fantasy intrigue. If you love brooding dark anti-heroes, courageous heroines who fight for those they love, and mysterious ancient alien archeology, don’t miss this uniquely gripping story.

I’m sure by now everyone is coming off their Aurora Burning high and are wondering what to do with themselves? Well, if you are looking for your next sci-fi adventure I would recommend Worlds between. The story is how I imagine a book would be if The 5th wave and the Terminator crashed into each other. And this was their “ love child”. And I mean that in a good way. I really like the authors take on this story. We are introduced to a futuristic Earth that has been over taken by an alien race(the Kreons). First, of all who hasn’t thought about that happening. As I kid I was in love with the show V. If you don’t remember that show, it’s because I’m old. But I was so intrigued on how humans survived an alien take over. And my question from my youth is finally getting answered. The story mainly focuses on Rya. After, both her parents disappear. It’s up to her to keep her and her brother Jamie out of the Kreon’s hands. But no matter how smart and prepared you think you are, sometimes the worse happens. And that’s what happens when her brother gets taken and thrown into one of the compounds. Rya begins a journey to get her brother back. Which means working with the rebels and putting her self in danger. She deals with a severe betrayal but also discovers why the aliens are really here. This is a page turning adventure that does end with a cliffhanger. But totally worth it. I already can’t wait to read the next one.
An exciting & action-packed read that follows Rya as she tries to keep her brother, Jamie (the only remaining member of her family), safe & out of the clutches of the cruel invaders of their planet, the Kreons. Rya is a feisty & brave character who tries to do all she can to keep them safe, fed & alive. What are the invaders looking for on their planet that's so important & what goes on in their compound when others have been captured - are they still alive or are they brain-washed to follow the invaders? A brilliant fight & struggle for all she holds dear follows, together with a wonderful tale of bravery, determination & ancient magic. Rya discovers wonderful humanity & honour where she least expected to find it & sees a different side to the Kreons! Great characters in Rya, Masi, Elan & the girls & fantastic writing that draws you in & doesn't let you go. Can't wait for book 2 to see what happens next & recommend you also read the novella, World's Avenged, as an extra treat!
He stole my planet , i break his heart. As always i’m never disappointed, however i feel like this book is better to read when you have the whole series. Rya is a strong character with a big heart. She takes care of her brother and gets in a lot of trouble because of him, but she still doesn’t give him up. I read the book in one night so it was Good but the second book needs to come out quickly because I feel you have still so many open storylines left
