Pretty decent length and steamyish book. Eith a dash of mob life.
Brynn a mafia princess has some trouble she was threatened by a stalker that made her leave home and the mob life, so shes working at a bar and hating it. But tonight is different she meets Brendan who is their with this buddies for a bachelor party and is already head over heels with Brynn. Taking her back to his place sparks fly but they don't jump into bed nope they get to know one another, and she's keeping a secert from him about her life. But gotta give it to Brendan he already knows her family is Mafia and isnt scared, he's alittle upset that she hasnt told him. Even when she reconnects with her family.
I do wish Brendan was alittle more alpha just a tiny bit and as for Brynn i did get annoyed it took her 6 weeks to come clean about her family lifestyle even if her brother already told him. :/
There could be 2 more couples Bart and Ara and Bella and mysterious Alonzo ;) i do hope they get a story. Cross fingers.

Brynn is a mafia princess who has left her home and family to escape a stalker threatening her and her younger sister . . . She's working in a bar when Brendan comes in with his friends. There's instant attraction between them, so strong they can't resist . . . but what happens when she returns home? Will her stalker return? What will Brendan's reaction be to her family background? Will their love stand a chance?
This is an action packed finale to this second season of 425 Madison romances. It has everything from the mafia, millionaires, romance, a stalker, fresh starts, kidnapping and so much more! You've got to love both main characters' Mums and their desire for grandchildren, there's plenty of humour in amidst the drama and strong family ties that are bonded through love.
If you enjoy love at first sight romances with plenty of suspense and danger, this is one for you! It is a lovely finale to this second series and has several characters who I'd love to know what happens to next! Hopefully there will be a third series coming soon with even more great stories to escape into and some of them may just involve those characters.
I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and finding it to be a real page turner with a superb, heartwarming epilogue!
The 425 Madison Series is one of my favorite series. Let Me Stay is the last book in this batch of books.
I wish I could say it held up to the rest of the series for me, but it just wasn't the book for me. It had so much potential. Brynn's a mafia princess, Brendan's a game designer. There's an added element of a stalker. I mean this book should have been fabulous in spades.
However Brynn and Brendan are both virgins? That just didn't cut it for me, especially as Brendan is a fabulous lover? And he's never done it? And there is no awkwardness? I don't care how old you are, the first time is seldom perfect and full of sunshine, rainbows and orgasms.
And once again...the relationship is all sex. There is absolutely no reason for these two to be in a relationship. There's nothing they share in common. I'm kind of used to that in a romance novels but it doesn't make for a totally believable story. Sex will only get you so far and hit shouldn't = HEA.
Now lets get to the good stuff. The mystery and the fact that Brynn's folks are in the mob. They embrace Brendan easily and when Brynn's stalker becomes known to them, well Brendan easily becomes one of them.
I found the culprit to be a little easy to figure out, but I enjoyed the suspense at the end. It gives the book a little oomph and for me this story definitely needed that.
Everything was really fast paced and it felt hurried at times.
It was a quick read and I enjoyed it, but it lacked some of the wow factor that other books in the series had.
Let Me Stay is another great addition to the 425 Madison series. I loved the very brief cameo appearance by characters from this author's earlier book in this series. There was a strong connection between Brendan and Brynn right from the start. Brynn carries a lot of secrets and I do admit, the one that perplexed me the most was why she hid the reason for her move to Atlantic City from her family. Regardless, this book was filled to the brim with drama, suspense, and first-time love and kept me engaged from the start!
This a wellwritten and fastpaced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and actionpacked. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
Overall, I love this series. When I’m reading, it feels like I’m living at 425 Madison and it’s great. The various residents of the building are fun and interesting and have great stories.
That being said, I did not enjoy this one. The story itself was okay, it was entertaining, but I found myself saying “oh please” and rolling my eyes more often than not. I am not a fan of instalove at all, and this book is alllll about the instalove. Not only the couple when they first meet, but Brendan’s parents don’t bat an eye when their only son marries a mafia princess and entrenches his new business with the mob willingly. Brendan and Brynn were that annoying overly lovey couple, too. She goes home with him the night they meet, the I love yous start flying the next day, and they start trying to get pregnant immediately?? Brendan has a possessive, creepy vibe too. The other problem I had with the book was the dialogue. There isn’t a single contraction in the dialogue and NO ONE talks like that in everyday casual conversations.
Editing to add: It REALLY bothered me at the end that there was such an attraction between Arabella and Bart. On her side I can understand a crush, but SHE WAS AN 8th GRADER! There is no way he should have been attracted to her and that Brynn was excited about it. He is Brynn’s older brother and she is 22, so the youngest he would be is 23.
There is a lot of action in this book, however. It does have an okay plot and good pacing. While this author’s style just isn’t for me, there will be those who enjoy it. If you like mafia romances, check this out.
This is the first book that I've read by this author and I didn't really know what to expect, but I always normally love the books from this book series of the 425 Madison, but I wasn't so sure about this story line and maybe it wasn't really for me.
Brendan is a very rich, very capable young man who has it all. Well apart from a wife and children which is what his own mother keeps pushing him for. When he goes on a night out one evening in Atlantic City, this is where he sees her in the bar and his eye's pop out of his head.
Brynn works in a bar and when she lays eye's on him for the very time she is awe struck, he literally takes her breath away. There is alot chemistry between these two straight away and there connection is very strong. The problem is will her secrets catch up with her? This really is love at first sight and fate has brought them together. (NO SPOILERS).
This author writes fantastically but I just couldn't really get into this book this time. I felt that the story was a tad predictable and a tad disappointing because some parts we're very unrealistic. The characters we're great and written very sweet and it was a real insta love story for them and like we all know anything can happen on 425 Madison Ave.
Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read and early copy of this book.
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
This book is expected to be released 20th April 2020.
I love going into a book blind. The only information I knew about this one was the fact that they would live or are going to be living in 425 Madison, I couldn’t even begin to know how this one would turn out.
Brynn seemed like she wouldn’t take any crap but she also seemed like she was innocent and wouldn’t fully understand some things. I had some mixed feelings about her because on one hand she seemed to be all in and ready for battle but in the other hand she didn’t seem like she knew the risks. The growth of her character from beginning to end wasn’t as massive as I thought it would be but you still saw improvement.
Brendan isn’t what I expected when he first met Brynn. I completely thought he would be a total crap guy like they mostly are and it shocked me to see it happen. Even towards the end, the type of guy he seemed to be wasn’t the man I would put together. I have no doubt that this couple seemed as chaotic as two people in their situation would be but the happenings at the end left you confused.
I honestly had some questions about the whole big ordeal with the stalker. I even had some questions regarding some people towards the end. I was a little confused on age differences that would make that look weird. But all, in all, this was an action packed, steamy and emotional read I enjoyed!
This book was very intriguing and kept me engaged from beginning to end. The hero meets the heroine at the bar where he has taken his friend for his bachelor party. She is the bartender/waitress there and something between them clicks and he asks her if she would like to return to New York with them. After a series of mishaps, she tells her boss where he can take her job and she hops on the party bus back to Manhattan. Unbeknownst to our hero, our heroine is a Mafia princess hiding out from a would be stalker who has threatened to kill her little sister. Upon returning to the city, the two become a couple and start living together, but soon her stalker finds her and so does her family, unfortunately she hasn't figured out how to tell him that she is Mafia. It was crazy how this story played out and all the will things that happened on the way to a HEA. I have really enjoyed reading this second series of books set at 425 Madison and I am hopeful that the series will be continued in a third set. All books can be read as standalones, but former characters do make appearances in later books.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I thought that this was a very enjoyable read. This was a new to me author in a series that I eagerly look forward to each new entry from. Brendan and Brynn's book was a double virgin/ love at first sight romance. While I wouldn't truly call this a quick read romance as far as length goes, it certainly read like one. When I say that I mean that the book reads very easily, things progress at a fast pace and the whole book has that over-the-top feel to it. The storyline was fun and held your focus with a well crafted blend of intense emotions, humor, drama, suspense, danger, action, heat and heart. I saw definite potential for future books for several secondary characters and I really hope that happens. I'm talking about Brynn's sister and the guy she's crushing on and her brother and Tiny Dancer. I felt that Brendan was very easy to fall for but it did take me a bit to warm up to Brynn. However, once things really got going though I was 100% invested in this couple and rooting for that HEA for them. I am freely choosing to post a forthright review.
Let Me Stay is the last book in the 425 Madison series. Each book is its own story with just the setting of 425 Madison being the same. The characters in each book has amazing characters, wonderful love, and a unique story. Occasionally you will recognize a secondary character but really each is an entire story on their own.
Brendan and Brynn have a unique relationship. They meet while Brendan is at a bachelor party and Brynn is working at the bar. The attraction they feel is instant and steamy. The fact that they were both virgins didn’t stop them from going home with each other, starting a relationship, and falling in love. I did feel they rushed the entire relationship, he claimed her before they had even gone on a first date, I think that’d I’d want more romance, for their relationship to slow down a little.
Let Me Stay is a fun and quick read. I enjoyed this entire series, both season 1 and season 2. I am left at the end of season 2 hoping that there will be a season 3.
Brendon was on a stag do, and they ended up in a bar where all he had eyes for was the waitress! Brynn was on her own, she has a story and refuses to te anyone for fear of her family getting hurt!
Brendon asks her to go home with him, so she agrees, and off they go. Having money like he does he does a background check on Brynn and knows about her secrets, but trust has to be earned, so he doesn’t say anything.
Finally, the time comes to meet her family, and it’s there that he learns she is being threatened, so he talks to her father and brother and they come up with a plan. Sadly things go wrong and Brynn is kidnapped! Brendon will do whatever it takes to get her back!
This is a story of true love, and a man who will protect his woman no matter what! And a woman who is so strong she can get through anything!
I read this book in one go, it was hard to put down.
This story was a little different from the other books from 425 Madison Avenue, as this was about Brynn and Brendan finding each other in Atlantic City and he takes her home with him no questions asked. Love at first sight for both of them. Brynn hated her job in Atlantic City but was hiding from someone who was threatening her family if she didn't leave New York. As soon as she comes back the threats start again. She and Brendan can't figure out who would be doing this to her but he and his team work to find out along with Brynn's brother. Her kidnapper is a relative who is jealous and wanted her for himself. Brynn has her happy ever after with the man she loves and a new baby. I loved reading this book as I always reading all of these books. They have some of the some characters from previous books but also contain new characters. Can't wait to read the next book.
Brynn has a stalker which had her leaving her mafia family (who could protect her) to stay under the radar by working at a bar. And that's the place that she meets Brendan when he came in with his buddies for some fun. They have strong chemistry which won't be denied for long, although Brynn is determined not to give in to it. I think my favorite part of Let Me Stay is the danger element, because it provided some twists that kept me on the edge of my seat dropping f-bombs. And there's no better place for me than that. There are some sweet romantic moments, some with some steamy fun times, however, Brynn kind of irritated me with her unwillingness to give up the goods on where she came from when sufficient time had passed, while I wanted Brendan to be a bit less beta, and more alpha. That being said, I LOVE me some 425 Madison Novel's so I'm ready for more! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I truly love this 425 series. I've fallen in love with this amazing building full of awesome characters that I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know.
This book is no exception on the character front! Easy to love and root for after their meet-cute.
Unfortunately, Let Me Stay has fallen a little short for me this round in other areas. I felt like I was reading more of an outline to the story because so much seems to happen in such a short time. Because of that, it never felt like I was really getting to the heart of it all. Also, instant and lasting love between 2 virgins would normally be a bit of a stretch in this kind of series....made all that more unbelievable this time by them being excellent lovers as well. Throw in some mafia crime, a stalker, a multi-billion dollar gaming empire...and it reaches some new levels. I wanted to love it, but I just couldn't this time.
Romantic, but…. 3.5 It's a good romance, but I didn't understand the choices of the male hero Brendan. He justifies them out of love, but his choices don't seem to correspond to what he is. He succeeded as an honest game designer, but when he understands who Brynn's family is, he shifts his priorities when he could have done otherwise sometimes. Brynn fled New York because she was being harassed. A year later, she meets Brendan, who is in the club where she works for her brother's bachelor party. They are immediately attracted and he offers her to return with him to New York. Returning, Brendan discovers Brynn’s mafia family and the threats she face, which forces them to make choices.I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Let Me Stay is M.K. Moore's second contribution to the 425 Madison Avenue series. Brynn Vitali, a young woman full of secrets, meets Brendan O'Neal, a very controlled game designer, while working in an Atlantic City boardwalk nightclub. They experience an immediate connection and quickly move forward in their relationship. Outside drama brings great action and emotion to the story, but there is no real relationship angst even when Brynn's secret are taken into account. I really enjoyed this read as I pretty much do all of Moore's work. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 out of 5 • Very safe • instalove • alpha hero • strong heroine • dual virgins
When Brynn finds herself in danger she leaves everything and everyone she loves for a fresh start. Although the life she is living isn’t the life she has chosen she knows the only way to keep safe is to keep a low profile but when Brendon enters her life it becomes a game changer.
When Brendon attended a bachelor party at the pub where she worked he knew that she was special. Before the evening is over she is staying with him but how will he react when he finds out about the secrets that she holds?
Intrigue, twists and romance as Brendon shows Brynn that she can trust him with her heart and her life.
I really enjoyed this series so if you haven't read the other books in the series, do it. I thought the love story between Brendan and Brynn was sweet and insta-fall. It was definitely full of action, in and out of the sheets. I don't know if it was the short length of the story, and maybe not enough time to get the story developed, but the whole feel of the "family business" and the inclusivity after such a short time didn't sit well with me. It almost seemed too easy. I definitely thought the second half of the book flowed better than the first part.
Brendan & Brynn are the picture of “Love at first sight”, they were both easy going, caring and strong. When Brynn was wronged by the Boss at her job in Atlantic City, she immediately quit - no one would be treating or talking to her like they were. Thankfully she had just met Brendan, and off to New York they went - never looking back, they new they had found their ‘one’. Brynn had some explaining to do - she hoped he would understand and Make Her Stay!
Multi-layered. Complicated. Intriguing. Emotional. There is no one word that can describe Let Me Stay. Brendan and Brynn are drowning in depth. Moore dives deep into the tragic side of love. Family betrayal, dangerous enemies and yearning so deep that the heart may never recover. Although the emotions cut deep, Moore doesn't write victims. She writes characters with the courage to fight back and find the hero/heroine within themselves. Let Me Stay packs a mighty punch.
Love this series and Love MK’s words. MK did not disappoint with Brendan and Brynn’s story. These two were made for each other. I love that Brendan found and rescued Brynn exactly when she needed it and gave her the safety and home that she had been missing. Oh and Brendan the Sexy Alpha Nerd that saves his woman and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her and give her the HEA that she deserves. Great read!!!
I voluntarily review an ARC. This is the seventeenth book of the 425 Madison avenue series. The books are standalones, but I suggest to read the whole fantastic series and enjoy meeting characters of previous parts. I'm usually not a big fan of insta-love, but this author made it believable. A cute romance meets action packed mafia business. Interesting characters and a good writing style make this book as recommended as the rest of the series.
This was another solid offering from this series! This was a new to me author and I am looking forward to reading more. Brynn was bartending when Brendan met her. He was attending a bachelor party. Their story is an over the top insta-love type that I truly enjoyed.
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done ️
An enjoyable well written double virgin love at first sight romance. This amazing storyline kept me addicted page after page with humor, suspense, intense emotions, outside drama, action and love. The characters are interesting and well developed with great chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed this fantastic standalone in the 425 Madison series.
Brynn is from a mafia family and is working at a bar. She is running from a stalker. Brendan is a wealthy guy and meets her at the bar. The two have an instant attraction and things move fast. Brynn has a mafia family that Brendan doesn't know about yet so will he let her stay once he finds out? How will Brynn's family like Brendan? A good contemporary romantic read.
I have loved this 425 Madison series. And Brendan and Brynn give all the feels! They have this connection. They fall hard and fast for each other but it is real. She's got family history with the mafia. Brendan is loyal to Brynn to the end.
This book has some twists and turns. I really enjoyed it!
GAH!! I love everything about 425 Madison! I have loved all 17 books and I hope they never stop! There are so many amazing elements to this story! Brendan and Brynn's love at first sight story is beautiful! I loved watching these two fight for their HEA! FIVE STARS!!
