This one was okay. Everything finally came to a head, but it felt rushed or maybe I was over it. I honestly started skipping POVs because some of them were boring me, and if those characters are getting their own books anyway, they really didn’t need POVs here.
I do want to read about the twins though, even if I still don’t know which twin Kosher is dating lmao.
I do not care for Yari, Shanti, and Danielle at all because their storyline felt forced and boring. I definitely don’t want a separate series about them. Honestly, Yari and Shanti made way more sense together. He was instantly attracted to Ashanti, meanwhile he only started feeling Danielle after being around her for years and suddenly noticing her at the wedding.
Then Lexx randomly came out of nowhere, and the coincidental connections between everybody started getting on my nerves. That always kills a book for me. Like you mean to tell me nobody in this entire book existed separately from somebody else? Everybody somehow had a connection to everybody. It was just too many coincidences.
Anyways, I love Mama Jackie. I really thought she was about to let that mess with Maxx slide, but she didn’t.

Now this was a true ending, I also loved the way Carmen gave us just enough to want more from the other characters. Mama Jackie was indeed a Diva Queen to the fullest she played no jokes nor did she take any mess and or loved her and the way she handled Maxx just too funny. Happy Jai finally got rid of his problems that should not have been his to begin with. At one point I thought Danielle was gonna loose her life but so happy she decided to come clean about Bull. Yari was still on his bull but Lexx was not having it; he is definitely what Ashanti needs in her life. The kicker was the twist about Giovanni mother happy so is getting the help she needed as well as the truth coming out.

This series was everything and it held my attention from the very first page. I can't wait to.read the spin off for Yari and Shanti cause that going to be something else. The ending was crazy I love me some Jackie.

This was a good series. Momma Jackie was crazy. I don’t think I could’ve taken maxx back, but old folks built differently. So, what happened to Mateo in the end?

What a ride.
This was a rollercoaster read. Everyone was crazy in this family. I was glad that everything worked out for everyone. Good series.
