Riding the high of a half work day, Marie Sinclare indulges in a trip to her favorite co-op before going home, but finds herself in the sights of a rather attractive stranger. Kai Stonewell won’t stop looking at her, and she won’t stop staring at him.

This was a really good read. I was really surprised by this. This was in my recommendations and I'm truly glad i took a chance to read it. I'm always happy when I find gems like this. These three are destined to be together. Believe me you will not be dissapointed.

Wow! To the author, Tiana Baptist, you really did that! This book has been on my TBR list for over a year, and finally reading it, it exceeded my expectations. The way I was solely rooting for Kai, one of the MMCs, and then gradually fell for Trevor, Kai's twin brother, is one for the books. This story turned out to be much more than I anticipated!
The plot is exceptional, layered with depth, emotions, angst, love, and steamy scenes that nearly made me combust! And this is only the first part! I adore the trust these three characters have/are building as they work through insecurities and genuinely see each other for who they are. I could go on forever!
I can’t wait to read part two! I gather Kai and Trevor have faced some tough times in the past (based on what I read between the lines, which I'm sure part two of the story will get into more). Trevor is ready to share their full story with Marie, the FMC, but Kai isn't quite there yet. They’ve shared why they enjoy sharing one partner sexually and touched on their careers, but haven't fully opened up about their childhood/past, or a traumatic event that deeply affected Kai. Their bond as brothers is warm and genuine, and Marie is simply wonderful—real, lovable, and straightforward. She’s sweet and vulnerable, confident yet open-minded.
P.S. shout-out to Kai and Trevor's dog, Roger, whom I deem also belongs to Marie now, lol. I love his presence in this story.
But anyhoo, I don’t want to spoil anything! If you like polyamory, why-choose tropes, and MFM stories, then you should read this. There aren't any reviews on Fable (besides mine now), but check out Goodreads too, and you'll find plenty. I'm so hooked, I've already bought all of the author's other books! I loved every part of this read. It’s definitely one of my top poly-romance favorites! This book needs to be discussed more in the realm of black/poc "poly-romance!"

New to Me Author. So Happy I Found you!
This book was everything. A romance with adults who act like adults, talk and communicate like adults and work through insecurities and doubts with levelheaded and perspective. I usually skip sex scenes but these were a must and a took my time to savor this. I know I will reread a few times to soak in all the goodness. The keys to the city for YOU and your uber driver! 😂

I don’t normally like poly but this one never had that kind of feel to it. It felt like both men were one person in two bodies. And if you’re wondering if they’re soul mates by the end of this book, you’ll know it for sure by the time you get to the middle of the second one!

First time reading Tiana Baptist and it was everything! Started reading on a Sunday afternoon and just finished this Monday evening! Love love love Kai and Marie’s instant attraction. Trevor was a welcome distraction! Sex scenes were “top tier!”
