***An Action Thriller with a mix of Sci-Fi, Mystery, and Romance***
CONTENT Zero Solar contains soft Sci-Fi elements with near future technology. That means it's written with simple scientific principles that anyone can understand and enjoy. It's targeted toward a general audience so there's no lengthy discussions on chemistry or physics. It possesses just enough Sci-Fi to get you right back to the fast-paced plot!
This was the best book out of the Cold Solar series. Star Wars meets Indiana Jones as they go treasure hunting for the mysterious Zero Solar. I enjoyed how the author focused on each character's individual story and personality--Bowen, Low, Joanna, Dothan, Elaina, Vlad, etc--rather than tossing them aside as minor characters like so many series often do (eg. Star Wars episodes VII, VIII, IX). I stayed up late reading this and begrudgingly put it aside so I would get enough sleep for work the next day, all the while cursing Dothan. Great series.
From the first book through this one, the characters are well developed and you can't help but cheer for the good guys root against the bad. The comparisons between Mars and Earth's societies was very interesting. If you're a sci-fi fan, I strongly recommend this series.
This last book in the trilogy was a great action packed conclusion to the series! I really enjoyed all three books and I'm looking forward to reading more from the author!
Marc had to go through horrific situations even as Prince. The only thing keeping him alive is his DNA. A few grammatical errors stuttered my enjoyment by definitely a wonderful read.
I enjoyed this trilogy. The plot was interesting, the heroes and villains were strange mix with unusual stories and consistent behavioral characteristics. I recommend it while your sheltering in place from the pandemic.
I usually don't go for books involving monarchies, but the writer did a great job of blending royalty with action and a deeply satisfying plot involving Mars and earth. Highly recommended.
I have read the whole series and can honestly say it is one of the most Epic Space Opera I have read, I hope there will be at least a follow up to expand on Bowen & Co.
These books need a full editing job before being put into digital print. Thete were a lot of errors. I liked the entire series. Great characters, good story line.
