c# was my first language. I had to learn this language because I need to use it for Unity's coding. I had zero programming skill when I started Unity. It was easy at first, but as the learning curve continued, I found my self getting lost in the complicated game structure, staring at the code and not really know what's happening. I wish I found this book before. It was because this book that I started to REALLY understand what I was doing with my code. It shows me how important a basic is. Herberth Schildt is vey good at explanation. He could simplify complicate concepts in to an easier to understand language, even for a non-English speaker like me, I could understand 90% of the explanation. There's also a lot of example and test to help the reader reflect on what he's reading. All in all, this book is very great for beginners or those who think their basic are shaky. Definitely recommend for anyone who want to start learning programming language.
