After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.

Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.

Some things just didn't make sense even if its a very short book!
The characters and plot are still interesting but they had an off feeling to them.
It had the potential for a much more interesting and packed book as a stand-alone or maybe more if the plot and the twists were well thought through, cause it felt rushed and just trying to solve everything in a few chapters. Which was a disappointment to me.

Hot!! Hot!! Hotttttt!! That is the only way to describe the story. I have read a couple of books by this author and this is his MO. I really enjoy age gap romances and this author does it to a T. Lacey is in definite need of discipline because she is a typical spoilt rich girl running wild with no consequences for her actions. When she plows into Logan‘s mailbox the adventure begins. Logan is her hot, single older neighbor that she has a crush on. With the twist at the ending the story kept me captivated throughout. If you want a smutty novella this is the book for you! I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next.

Lot of smut, this book is a nice, no-brainer romance ,a quick, steamy read full of silly moments. It’s definitely predictable with no real buildup, but that kind of made it fun in its own way. I did find myself skimming at times when it got repetitive, but it was still an enjoyable way to pass the time.

I enjoyed this. Probably my very first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was oh so steamy and the hero had me hyperventilating!



Lacey and Logan were absolute perfection.

If you're looking for a quick, OTT smutty madness then look no further.

I volunteered to review an ARC of Next Door Daddy after having read previous works by this author. I find Cole’s writing captivating. He’s a master storyteller and the condensed form of his novellas tell more in a few pages than some authors can in hundreds. Cole’s characters are well-defined and his storyline unique. This story is different from most steamy romances and that’s what made it so interesting. I read it in a very short time and couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next. Highly recommended to those wanting a quick bit of very sexy distraction.

What I appreciated about Logan is he never tells his VERY young love interest how "mature" she is for her age. And that might be because she's not! Lacey is of the spoiled brat variety and she doesn't hide it... I don't think she even thinks she should hide it.

That's what I liked. The characters are what they are. Don't over-analyze why Logan is attracted to Lacey. This is a book where you just go with it and enjoy the ride and true to Jagger Cole fashion it is a hot ride.

Lacey and Logan's story was good. I think they jumped from neighbors to lovers pretty quickly, but the reader only got a blip of their story of their encounters so that's probably why I feel that way.

I loved when they admitted their feelings, though I'm more into the guy being more initiative than the girl. Lacey had to be the one making all of the decisions, though, because Logan was not going to cross that line... like ever.

I'm glad I read this book to continue my Jagger Cole binge. Just one more book and I'll be all caught up!

This book was just okay for me. I don't know if it was the writing style, the OVER abundance of the word "growl" or the errors here and there but I couldn't connect fully with the story or the characters. Toward the end it did get to be more interesting though, I would've liked that to play a bigger role but that's okay. This being a novella really helped its readability for me. If this were a full length novel I may not have been able to finish it.

Wow!!! I devoured this book in a few hours! Lacey and Logan are next door neighbors and things get Very heated between them! This is a very entertaining storyline with a satisfying ending. I received an ARC and I'm freely reviewing.

This is my 2nd book by this author and I fell hard and fast for Lacey and Logan. This was a fast read. Lacey starts a spoiled brat but not a bad person and Logan fought his attraction to her. When it boils up, there's nothing they can do to stop it. I'm so glad I read this story. Yumminess!
