Victoria

I was lucky enough to have escaped a world where I was viewed as nothing but a possession, a toy, a little plaything. Only, two years later I found myself owned by a man who made my heart beat from the very moment I met him.

There's just one problem-- he doesn't feel the same way. I'm merely someone he can push around and give orders to.

I hoped for so long he'd change, but he didn't. So, I ran. I ran to the farthest edge of the Earth to escape all the pain, but he found me. He wrapped his arms around me and vowed that things would be different between the two of us. But, will they? I haven't told him everything and I worry he and his club can't handle the demons from my past.

My demons want more than just me now, but to get what they want, they'll need me dead.

Nothing in this world comes without a price.

I only wonder if the price we pay will be worth it.

Don't recommend!

This is the most ridiculous story I've ever read. And that's saying alot considering its fantasy! First she's abused by her parents and is supposed to marry a man they choose, so she runs away and becomes a stripper. Then she becomes a manager of the place. Next she finally loses her virginity to Tracker in her office after she swore she wouldn't have sex until she's in love, because her grandmother told her to wait until she was. So then Tracker makes her come stay with him because he decides she's his to keep. Three weeks after she's there, hes still letting other women touch and kiss him to make her jealous. Which it finally does and she decides to to leave him and does. Of while she leaves he decides to take the stripper that was sitting in his and get a bj, because he doesn't see her and is tired of waiting for her to get jealous and react to him, besides in his mind she's his but he not committed to her so he can do what he wants. Of that's when another brother stops him to find out where she is cuz he can't find her. So that's when the dumb a@$ finally realizes she left him. Now she runs away to Australia where she finds out she pregnant, mind you she has a eating disorder. He finds her , brings her back she also happens to be rich with trust fund. She gives all her money to the hospital . Her mother and father and the guys she was supposed to marry are looking for her cuz they want her money. Parker that's the guys name send people to kill Tracker, so his in the hospital and her comes her friend raven and tells her shut off her emotions and take care of business. Now she a assassin and she going to kill her parents and parker, so she sneaks out of the hospital thru the air vents.mind you she's also still pregnant. ( unbelievable) So she eventually end up taking Shadow another brother of Tracker with her and drives to her actual brother that she all of a sudden has. Which so happens to be the president of another club! ( mind you she still has no emotion because she shut them off remember) Oh by the way that makes her a bitch to. ( go figure) She's there for two weeks, while hunting down her parents, and poor tracker is still in the hospital unconscious! He finally wakes and after her. Once he's there she turns her emotions back. ( seriously that's what she and everyone says) Of they go back home and because she's feeling insecure and depressed she decides to get in the ring ( boxing) to work out her feelings! ( mind you she's seven months pregnant now) Yes that's what all pregnant women do when they can't deal with what's going on . When Tracker finds her , she goes off on him about stupid crap and runs away. Then she in her jeep and heard a ticking and jumps from it ( while it's moving) and goes into labor. ( then she finally worried about the baby) This has got to be the ridiculous story I've ever read! There was so much crap in this , that it was unbelievable! It started out so good and then turned horrible. I hated Victoria and I really hated her friend Raven, she was a total bitch as well. It's hard to believe MC brothers would put up with either on of them. To far fetched. I don't recommend this story at all!!!!!!

I give this book one star because the author finished it. Many want to write books but never do. So kudos to the author for following through, even if the book sucks.

Owning Victoria is about a man named Tracker owning the woman he took the virginity of. Sigh. I wanted to like this book (despite the title), but I just can't. For starters, I can't take the whole arranged marriage thing in this day and age. Her father is governor (or something), it just doesn't seem realistic to me without the explanation of WHY he would want his daughter to marry a mobster. And an arranged marriage at that.

That was a big WTF?! for me. Secondly, they locked her in the cellar when she expressed her dismay about the arranged marriage. *SMH*

The third thing I found wrong with this book is that her mother is shtooping her soon-to-be husband. It is clear her parents don't give one shit about her. I also missed the backstory of how that came to be. Why do the parents just see her as a means to an end? I don't want to read twenty-something chapters to find that out.

I hate the way Tracker talks. Every woman is called 'bitch,' cunt', what-have-you ... sigh. And he sounds like a man who has little to no education. We all love a dumb man who can sling dick, can I get a hooyah!. In case you're wondering, this is sarcasm.

Other things I can't stand:
1. Every woman in the book is eye-fucking Tracker because he's so hot *barf*

2. If I hear Tracker call her 'Princess' or 'Sweetness' one more time, I will slam my head against a wall. I can't decide which I dislike more: Massimo 365 Days his 'Babygirl' or Tracker's 'Sweetness'. *KILL ME NOW!*

3. Victoria suddenly goes from being this woman with no personality in the first ten chapters of the book, to this firecracker who threatens a woman when she goes to see her biker cousins. It just doesn't fit.

4. Victoria had to move in with Tracker because he took her virginity... Another sigh...

5. I don't understand the whole dedication of the book where the author dedicates this book to people with body dysmorphia. She needs to dedicate this book to women who are in relationships with alpha douchebags like Tracker.

6. Tracker letting other women rub up on him to make Victoria jealous. He's as dumb and immature as the writer wrote him to be.

7. NOWHERE in the book is there any mention of her being this badass assassin, and all of a sudden there's mention of this Silent Night shit. That came out of left field. I think I read three different books. She sure let all those strippers walk all over her, let's not forget the crying about every-fucking-thing for such a badass killer.

I didn't care for this book... at all...

All of the chapters devoted to that juvenile and unnecessary drama... I know there has to be some drama that needs to get resolved in the book, but this drama was really childish. It's like my ten-year-old niece wrote it.

Why there are thirty-something chapters in this book, God only knows. She could have cut out all of the unnecessary scenes and dialogue and just had twenty chapters. That's why people need to invest in developmental editing. I stopped reading around where Breaker said she was pregnant. I skimmed everything that followed afterward.

This is a hard book to review. While I liked it, it almost seemed like two different books. Without giving any spoilers the main female character was basically two different people. She had this “alternate” life that only a few people knew about, aside from being in the run from her family. While I did enjoy the book her two different personas didn’t work for me, they where to drastically different.

Even if I could have overlooked Tracker's asshole manwhore ways I didn't care for Victoria either. He's rude to her all the time but apparently has a hard on for her. He takes her virginity and moves her in with him. Okay whatever but then he continues to let Dixie and Gia paw all over him pays mentions he groped them as well. The night Victoria had enough of witnessing this he was on his way to the back for one last farewell blowjob. Just like his name he tracks her down and brings her back home. I think the timeline was off. After he took her virginity she was at his house for three weeks before she bailed then when he found her I thought it said six weeks. Then we have a four months then three months later span. I'm thinking she's eight months when she's crawls through the ceiling. I didn't like all that assassin or whatever crap. She sure let the strippers walk all over her for being a secret badass. Plus fighting in the rink. Idk. I didn't like it.

This is the next chapter of the Original’s series of the Devil Riot MC. This book has it all from fear and anger to lust and love, with a bit of everything in between.
Tracker and Victoria get off to rocky start with each other. He thinks she’s a ice princess and she thinks he’s a big jerk and a pain.
Eventually they have to quit dancing around each other and face the fact they have feelings for each other, they just have to put their heads out their butts and see what’s staring them straight in the face.
They both learn secrets about each other that rocks them to the core. Her’s are that she is a dark web assassin called by the name of Silent Night, and that his are that he will do anything to take care of her. They take out the bad guys and have a family and find out that their love gets stronger each passing day .

Sooo out there

This is so incredibly unrealistic and hard to believe.

A fragile girl of 20 is a trained assassin and has killed people since she as 18. Checking out of a hospital after you almost died of a gun shot. Taking money out of the bank but no one can find you.

Okay yeah all in the range if possible. Not sure I am reading any more of this series

An enemy to lovers kinda book. When Victoria first seen Tracker she knew he was good looking and he knew it and she hated him. First time Tracker sees Victoria he thought she was gorgeous and he hated her. He doesn't know her name is Victoria yet because she uses her stage name.

Neither trust the opposite sex. Tracker is a hit it and get it but he will never trust a woman because they all lie. They all want something from him.

Victoria is in hiding from trouble. She also has even bigger secrets that comes out later. Just going to say that sweet innocent Victoria is a total badass.

Good book that kept my interest...off to the next book

DNF..... The silent night bit ruined the book I mean wtf you seriously think that a chick who cry's over EVERYTHING is some assassin just because she "turns her emotions off" plus if her brother is some big bad biker then why the f did he not help her get away from her parents and the guy she was meant to marry

Victoria hasn’t had an easy life and Tracker doesn’t seem interested. Their chemistry is intense, and their story is filled with twists and turns and hidden secrets. Entertaining MC read with loads of drama and characters with lots of depth. I really liked it.

What happened to this series? Couldn't finish it. The second book, where a highly insecure woman let's the man (and this one seems to be the king of all douchebags) walk all over her.
And after reading some other reviews, I'm really glad, I stopped here.

I was torn about what to rate this book I would love to give it 4 stars but do to how the book played out and one of the main characters having this really crazy storyline I could only give it a 3 and I just hate that I really enjoy this authors books but this one was just not a winner for me. I feel like both Tracker and Victory (Amethyst) had some kind of out of body personality switches. In the first book of this series Tracker seemed different or maybe it was just the storyline with his cousin Rachel but in this book he's a complete tool hes always ticked of at Amethyst because she would not give him a lap dance he just wanted her to put out like all the other club slutz and he cant stand it win shes put in charge of the stripclub/prostitution house at Dolly's especially since he knows her secret or so he thinks well he finally gets his way and takes her virginity but it blows up in his face because he treats her like a possession but still let's other women touch him well she has enough and splits to Australia.

My biggest problem was Victory aka Silent Night/Amethyst yes a women of many talents and names. She starts out as this scared shadow who is abused and criticized by her supposed parents and I mean supposed you have to read the book to find out more about that. So anyway she finally makes a break from them with her friend Ravens help flash forward shes and ex stripper who now manages Stoney's business at Dolly's but his VP is always giving her crap Tracker. Fast forward again you have the arguing, the, sex, the getaway, the getting together then someone gets shot but thats not the biggest surprise the Assassin angle yes you have that Right Victory is and Assassin and I'm leaving it at that. What would have helped this plot actually have Victory kill someone early on then have her show up at Dolly's. This and the family angle would have played better if it happened before the shooting to make it more believable as a plot. And although I don't care for this story I will still read this author.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.

If you've read Stoney's book, "Stoney's Property", then you'll recall Tracker. If not, go read that book first. It would help to give some background information about this book. Well, it would introduce you to the brothers and the ladies at least. Anyways, Tracker's story starts out with him loathing Amethyst. Okay, there's a prologue before that, but get back to Tracker. He's surrounded by two "chicks" who also happen to hate the manager of the "club" they work. You guessed it---Amethyst is that manager! The story goes from there when Tracker takes matters into his own hands. Then we're introduced to Victoria.

This book has so many twists and turns you just can't keep count. Let me say that Victoria has to be the biggest bada** Old Ladies I have ever read! She's something else! Heck, there's not too many chicks that are like her. OMG! She's fierce and that's an understatement. At the beginning, Tracker is a grade A...well, you can fill in the blanks. I wanted to punch him on several occasions and that was just the first chapter. You'll have to read to see if he improves, but once you get to know the "real" Victoria...he's properly put in his place.

I loved this book! I can't wait for the other books like Blaze and Raven's story. Definitely want to read more about Chains and his MC. Take a bow, E.C. Land! Wow! Wow! Wow!! I just can't get over how awesome this book happens to be. Believe me, I"m getting kind of bored with all the MC books that seem to be saturating the market these days. It's so refreshing to see something new and fresh.

Yes, I bought this book and will be buying every book in the series as they become available. I did receive an ARC via Booksprout and I'm leaving a review, but I loved it so much that I would encourage everyone to buy it.

Anything by this author is worth the time and investment! She is on my shelf to be reread. It is so good and with E.C.s writing she grabs you so fast from the first words that you know you do not want it to end! There are a lot of characters that are intertwined within her books and she does not leave you hanging with any of her works. This is one AUTHOR YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS! I can not stress that enough! Her writing style is PHENOMENAL and as I have said before she is one of the BEST out there. This story is Tragic and Utterly Beautiful. This is Tracker and Amethysts story. It is part of the the Devils Riot storyline but it from the Originals Series. Confused? Get these books! I am looking forward to more from this author!

I struggled with this book. Found it too far fetched. Tracker gave me whiplash, going from hating Victoria, to wanting her, to loving her in the blink of eye. Every woman wanted tracker. Even the nurse hit on him, right in front of Victoria. The concept of Victoria being a 21 year old runaway stripper who moonlights as an assassin was hard to wrap my head around, as the two different parts of her were just way too different. I didn’t really find any of the characters particularly likeable and didn’t like that there wasn’t a whole lot of character development.
The story had promise, but unfortunately the lack of character development and the fact that so many aspects of the story were so unbelievable meant it wasn’t for me, and I stopped reading about 60% of the way through.

I love this book and series, I am addicted. I waited on the edge of my seat for this book and it lived up to my expectations.
20 year old Victoria is managing a strip club for the MC. She is a great manager and the guys all love her except for Tracker.
Tracker she just gets him riled she has secrets, he is sure of it, he calls her ice princess, she hates that.
This is where the story starts, and it is action packed, with drama, love, lust, humor, and more.
Grab a comfortable spot a tall drink and take a journey with them.

A return to the Devils Riot MC. This is Tracker and Victoria's story. Amethyst as she was known to the DRMCs had put her past behind her or more ran from it, but Tracker was onto her. Tracker had always been wary of Amethyst or should he say Victoria, but delving into her past only brought them forward, and put not only Victoria but their child into danger. But Victoria had more secrets up her sleeves, family ties and a second job few knew about. Well written with great detailed scenes and good characters old and new. A gripping story of suspense, secrets, love and Bikers

Victoria has many hats...she's such an interesting and bad a** woman. Tracker had me so annoyed with him. He is such a ------- and a whole lot worse.

But living up to his name finds out all about her past and secrets she's running from. She has a habit of running and she does it again taking another surprise away with her.

That's only the beginning of all the bumps, twists, revelations, heartbreak and learning to not let your past control your future.

Buckle in and hold on tight because you are in for a wild ride through the jungle of MC life. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

E.C. LAND HAS DONE IT AGAIN
Tracker has finally met his match it seems. He has hated Amethyst since she arrived and not for the reasons you might think. She makes him feel things he'd rather not feel, things he doesn't understand or want to feel. But, once he gets a taste of her he don't want to let her go. Amethyst/Victoria has other ideas though and after the life she ran from she's certainly nobody's fool and Tracker is about to find that out. Victoria has a secret and it's a HUGE secret. A secret that will shock EVERYBODY! E.C. Land has hit another homerun with Owning Victoria. It's truly a delicious masterpiece!

The author incorporated a number of interesting things into this story. Set in the MC world, I liked the believable interactions between all of the characters. I liked the menacing drama from her past. I liked the reminders of certain facts from the previous book though I would have liked a bit more on that front. I liked the twist about her which hopefully sets up her friend and a certain someone for the next book. I hope that clarity is achieved with her past as she needs closure. I hated his actions initially but he redeemed himself in the end. Great storytelling.

Worst book ever, like who comes up with a h that is a runaway/assassin/stripper/VIRGEN like for real the runaway thing I completely understand but an assassin and virgen at such young age and lose it to such an asshole (GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK). I have the bad luck that everything that I start I must finish it so it took like a week to finish this thing, the only reason I don't mind leave the one star because of the best friend that's the real badass of the book.

Great story

What started out as a she wants him, he wants her but tries to make her jealous with club girls, turns into a real rollercoaster ride. Without giving anything away, he was lucky she didn't skin him alive!!!!

I'm only waiting for Rachel to slap Boss and my life will be complete.

Great story. Can't wait for the next one.

Victoria has been the property of a man before and now she's with the Devil's Riot MC running the stripper club for them. Tracker knows there is more to Victoria than she lets on and he will find out all about her. Victoria ends up running but Tracker will find her and her secrets will be exposed. A twisted, thrill of a ride.

Strike 2

I gave this author a 2nd chance and she turned Victoria into a highly proficient pregnant assassin with a code name and everything even though in first half of book she was an abused child whose mom gave her an eating disorder. Utterly awful but I would like to know what author was tripping on to write this crap.

Just ok
This book started off great. I loved Tracker for finally doing right by Victoria. Things took a turn for the worst after he was hurt. The way Vi changed didn't work for me. It made everything seem over the top. Love this author's books but I think she missed the mark with this one.
