I enjoyed this sweet story very much. I was a bit bothered that there was going to be a very sad ending, but it all works out well for a hopefully happy ending for Hope and Levi, I feel sure that Elena will provide their really happy ending later in the series.
Hope is a very different character to her identical twin sister Faith, she has remained in the small town where they were born, running a wedding business from the family ranch, following in the footsteps of her parents. She is a firm believer in happy ever after, whereas Faith most firmly doesn’t, and refuses any commitment in her life ... except when her boss Noah gets under her skin! Nevertheless she drops everything to go and help Hope when it becomes necessary. Faith’s story will obviously be the subject of another book in the series.
Hope’s wedding business is booming, but she does everything herself, and realises she is becoming extremely tired, with occasional pains in her stomach. Every wedding exhausts her. Eventually she realises that she needs help, and she should perhaps get her doctor to give her a check-up. Enter Levi, her school sweetheart. He had left town after graduation, he had been living with his uncle and aunt since his mother died when he was ten, and his uncle did not like him, making his life a misery. After a particularly bad time he left, he would have loved to take Hope with him, knowing that if he asked she would go, but he also knew that she belonged in the small town. It was a real wrench to leave her, and he loved her still. He had only returned because his uncle had died, and the fishing boat he worked on was being repaired.
Hope put an advert for help on social media, and Luke applied for the job. Hope agrees he can work for her, although she is worried about it, but it gives her a bit of time, and the opportunity to visit the doctor, and the tests come back with some worrying news. She has to call on her twin for support. Faith has reasons for never returning to the small tow, but she drops everything to help Hope.
Levi does not know about her doctor’s appointments, but he is desperate to have a happy ever after with Hope. There are quite a few twists and turns before he is able, with lots of help, make that happen. This is a good start to the new series, you are introduced to several characters who are obviously going to have their own stories told in other books, and quite a few clues to suggest that their stories will be complicated!

This is a great second chance romance. I was glad to see that even though Hope and Faith who are identical twins and had different interests, that Faith was there for Hope when she was needed. I think it would be so wonderful to have a business creating wedding dreams for brides. Hope is so good with the brides. Hope was shocked when Levi came back to town and asked her for a job helping out at her business. The two had been so in love ten years earlier when Levi left town without her. The two never stopped loving each other, even though they never spoke. I was so upset by the news Hope received from her doctor. Hope had some hard decisions to make. I was glad she finally told her sister, but upset she didn’t let Levi know what was happening. It is funny how people like to make decisions for others out of love, especially when they may not be what is best for the other. This is a heartwarming book that I strongly encourage you to read. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

Loved it.
Wonderful heartfelt romance. Faith and Hope’s are identical twins and yet so completely different from each other in every other matter. Their relationship was very well brought out.
The love story between the Levi and Hope and their second chance was wonderfully brought out. A heartfelt romance.

Okay
Okay read. Didn’t love it or hate it, just thought it was okay. The couple were old sweethearts and reconnected, but with an underlying health issue things get more complicated. Was okay but some of it was a bit far fetched.

Choices
People who find out they have little to no time because of a disease, find they have choices to make and quickly. Some pleasant while others not. But choices to ensure some happiness shouldn't have to be put on a shelf if one is healthy. All of the characters mentioned had a point where choices were necessary or soon will have. Good story with a well rounded storyline and characters with no cheating or cliffhanger and a happy ever.... beginning. Enjoy 🤓

Hope loves creating amazing “happily ever afters” events for other people, despite having her own heart broken by one very special man. Levi Langdon knows there’s only ever been one woman for him, despite having broken her heart by leaving town. After the death of his abusive uncle he finally returned to town and proposes to prove to Hope that those feelings never died, but have just grown stronger during the past ten years. Getting a second chance at love with Levi and having their own happily ever after might just be possible; at least until devastating news puts a hold on everything. A health issue has been discovered and now Hope and Levi need to decide if their love is strong enough to battle this problem after being given a second chance.
Hope and Levi have an amazing connection and sizzling chemistry. After all these years, Hope will need to decide if she trusts Levi and his love enough to share her devastating news. I loved how Levi handled the news and the big gesture he created for Hope to show her how much he loved her and wanted to share this journey with her.

Choosing Happily Ever After is the perfect title for this story. Hope has taken over her family wedding business on Ever After Ranch. She’s always known this was her destiny. Unlike her twin sister who couldn’t wait to leave town, Hope was happy where she was. She just wished she had someone to share it with. She thought she’d found that person but he left her behind. Now, Levi is back in town & the chemistry is just as intense as ever. But will he stay this time? After Hope gets some bad news, she has some tough decisions to make.
I love the sense of family that is written under ever line in the story. Faith doesn’t hesitate when Hope actually needs her. Levi comes back to his family when times matter. These two neighboring families have connections that come across throughout the story. Hope’s strength & determination to not let her dreams die show her character. Choosing Happily Ever After is the first book in the new Ever After series by Elena Aitken. It is set in Glacier Falls, Canada. This first story is a 2nd chance HEA romance. Hope is getting exhausted running her very successful wedding venue/planning business on her family’s Ever After Ranch. She puts out a help wanted ad looking for a handy man, never expecting Levi, the man who left Glacier Falls with her broken heart 10 years earlier, to be the one who showed up. They find that their love needs little to rekindle the spark. But, there is more to Hope’s exhaustion than just being overworked. When she gets a devastating diagnosis, she tries to push Levi away without giving him the facts. She doesn’t want to stand in the way of his dreams. But, Levi won’t let her get away and with the help of her identical twin sister, they have a real chance at happily ever after. The plot was engaging and though I felt the story was rushed, it still was a good one.

Hope Turner is an extremely sensitive, loving, warm person running a wedding planning and event venue at her family Ever After Ranch. She’s doing it all alone as her twin lives and works in the “city”, and Hope is running herself ragged. She needs to hire some help, fast!

To me, their story is about relearning to trust, to live – not just survive – and how to love again. Wonderful, loving story that at times made me sniffle, want to shout at the characters, and give them all a hug. It was a pleasure to read.

I've read many of Elena Aitken's stories and enjoy her style of writing. In this story you've got die-hard romantic, Hope, who's turned her family's ranch into a wedding venue. Despite having her heart broken as a teen, she never gave up on love. Levi was the one who got away... left without looking back. He had his reasons for doing so, not that it made it any easier on either of them. Events bring Levi back to town for what's supposed to be a visit. What he didn't count on was Hope needing help on her ranch, and him wanting to be the one to provide it. Sparks are definitely still there, but will Hope give him another chance? There is definite drama to this story as Hope is facing life-changing news... will she let him in or push him away? Looking forward to seeing what Elena Aitken has in store for us next.

Her twin sister, Faith, doesn’t believe in happily ever afters like Hope does, so she moved to the city, while Hope stayed in Glacier Falls. Ten years ago, Levi left town and broke Hope’s heart. Now he’s back and Hope has hired him to help out with the weddings. When she gets some upsetting news from the doctor, she asks Faith to return and help out. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say grab your copy and get ready to fall in love with these wonderfully characters and this new series.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I am an avid reader of books by Elena Aitken, so when this ARC was up for grabs, I just had to have it!!!
This story starts out as Hope and Levi’s second chance reunion and adds in Hope’s twin sister Faith. That’s where the drama gets interesting because what is the deal with Faith and Logan and will Noah just accept a Faith moving back to the mountains? There is so much more to know that hopefully a second book can answer. But the ending...that was awesome!!!! Can we just say - Shut.the.front.door!!!!

I started this book on Sunday evening and couldn’t put it down, it was the early hours when I finished it. The book is about Holly who is a wedding planner and her business is doing really well and she realises she can’t do it all on her own so she places an ad on Facebook. I’m not going to say what happens from there on as don’t want to spoil it for you, but it involves a hot hunk called Levi who turns out to be every girls dream man. The story kept me enthralled and the characters were all interesting and I would love to read more about their stories. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more in this series.

I really enjoyed this story. Hope was successfully running a Wedding Ranch and loved every minute of it. Her twin, Faith, was a city girl and did not love it, do very seldom came home. After admitting she was tired more than usual, she placed an ad for help and Levi applied and was hired. Levi had been her boyfriend but left suddenly and was gone for 10 years. It was fun to see them reconnect and then deal with the fallout of why she was so tired. The characters were so great and I can't wait until the next book in the series.

Levi came back after ten years despite the hurt he has for his family member. Hope stayed right there and opened Ever After Ranch where she makes wedding dreams come true. Levi asks Hope for a job and a second chance at love begins. Unfortunately, Hope gets some life altering news that could destroy their second chance. She finally confides in her twin sister Faith, but doesn’t include Levi in the loop. There is a deep and abiding love between these two. Read it and enjoy the two who chose happily ever after. Though I enjoyed this book, the characters at the start felt a bit petty, and the end felt rushed. There was too much time spent [spoiler alert for a future book] setting up the love story of Hope’s sister, Faith, clearly to be covered in another book, although not the next book. Will Noah become a problem for Faith, while her lost love is clearly Langdon?
I find a lot of ebooks have that rushed feel. With only 190 pages, it’s hard to tell a complete, fulfilling story. Better authors, like Aiken, spent real time building up their characters. Unfortunately, in the rush to publish, there isn’t as much time taken with the action as she used to. We need another 100-150 pages.

I got this book as an ARC. In true Elena Aitken fashion, I couldn't put it down. It was a great story that made me feel good while reading it. I can't wait until the next book in the series. I'm positively hooked! Hope and Levi were easy to fall in love with. Their story left me wanting more for them in future books. I also can't wait to see Katie's story as well as more on Hope's sister, Faith. Elena's easy flowing style makes it effortless to read - even when I should go to bed because it's 2 am.

No Spoilers.. Elena has nailed this second chance romance with and HEA. This is Hope and Levi's chance after 10 years of being apart but that 10 years is a long time for mistrust and angst. This is a beautiful love story and hopefully a great new series in the making some many wonderful characters. Elena is a very diverse author and I have loved every book she has written you will never be disappointed for reading her work.

What a beautiful place to have a wedding, Ever After Ranch!! Hope is the wedding planner of wedding planners! She has turned her family home into a place brides will have all their hopes and dreams come true. After 10 years the love of her life returns to Glacier Falls and actually begins working for Hope. They make a great team again but there is always something around the corner to mix things up!! Its the start of another great series that Elena is known for!! I absolutely love every book Elena has written and this is one of the best. Can't wait for the second book!!

This is a great beginning for the Ever After series. The story is sweet and comparable to a Hallmark movie with some heat. I was a little worried that this would be a tearjerker at one point in the book but it works out for the couple. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series which sounds like a fake fiancee/wedding trope. Hope and Levi had two very different pictures of the future but 10 years later, Levi is back home and a second chance just might seem possible. There was quite a bit of angst in this story that had me shedding a tear or two but the ending brought so much light and love.
I am so looking forward to more of this series. There's so many characters that I need to see get their HEAs!!!

Very sweet and emotional second chance romance, with a bit of heartbreak thrown in to make things even more interesting.
Hope and Levi haven’t seen each other in 10 years, but the flames of love are still alive in them both. They are each at a crossroads in their lives; Levi with his career and Hope with her health.
This was a quick read and a bit of a whirlwind, storyline-wise, but well written.

A second chance at love for Hope and Levi. Hope is still very bitter when Levi left town after graduation. I would have thought she would be more understanding, given his circumstances. They both seem to have issues communicating with one another. A fun, tender read.
