Four novellas. A multitude of cyber-terrorists. One mission—protecting America.
Nora Brooks is the top agent on the Cyber Division team—not because of her coding skills, but because of her passion to catch those bent on destruction. Nora has a unique ability to assess a situation and put her finger on the one thing that doesn’t fit, the one person who has an alternate agenda.
In Fading Into the Night, she chases a cyber-terrorist through an Amish community. Midnight Strike finds her training a new partner during an attack in Texas. In Daybreak Nora faces a perpetrator determined to upend the Seattle cruise industry. And finally in High Noon, Nora and Randall need the help of National Park Ranger Tom Anderson to stop an EMP attack.
Security Breach includes four novellas about patriotism, dedication, and the value of friendship.

It's great to have these four novellas in one collection. The stories can each be read separately, but work so well together. I liked that each story was set in a different part of the United States and each threat was unique in how it was supposed to shut down society. Watching the way Nora followed the clues, and how Randall brought in his superb computer skills starting in book two, was very interesting.
Book 1. This suspenseful story was first a part of an anthology called Summer of Suspense. Although a quick read, it held my interest and is book 1 of the Cyber Division Series. I really liked Ben, the Amish man, who discovers a woman agent ready to do him in! I love his character and hope that he will be in book 2! The book moves quickly and there are no dull moments. I really enjoyed reading this! This was book 2 of the Cyber Division Series. These are shorter books, but full of intrigue and definitely makes you think about the future! The book takes right off and there are no dull moments. The research involved here, stuns me. I was so impressed by the infinite knowledge needed to write such an enthralling tale. Great book and a lot to think about!
Book 2. There has been a breach in internet security and Nora is on the job to find what is happening, and who is causing the attack. As you read about the events it makes you wonder if something like this could happen and why? It's a well written book of things that conceivably could occur in a not-so -perfect world. The book is spell-binding and a great addition to book 1. Book 3 was a wonderful addition to the first books of this series. The author is an amazing writer of Dystopian books! Loved the suspense! And with all of our current events in the World these days, you can practically visualize it happening in life rather than a book!
Book 4 was really a fun read! It took place in locations that I am very familiar with in my home state, Zion National Park and the Virgin River Gorge area. Such a beautiful setting for an exciting book about cyber terrorists!
The rock climbing and repelling add a little more excitement. A favorite hobby of my grandson! I really enjoyed the book and there seems to be little touch of romance along the way. Great book. You will enjoy it!
I received an ebook copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.
Cyber division definitely kept my attention. The words detailed the area so clearly I could picture it in my mind. The characters were well described and necessary to the plot. The relationships were important to the story but didn’t overwhelm the adventure. Fighting for right is always a good read and as usual Miss Chapman great job.
FADING INTO THE NIGHT Having been to Shipshewana, the farms, the market with English and Amish people.. Quick mystery to enjoy with Ben stepping in to help her. Staying at his home overnight would be a definite no, without chaperones, or the kiss also would not happen. MIDNIGHT. STRIKE An attack to bring the cruise industry to a halt, was it one or four people, in the four grids. Nora and Randall her new partner, race against a time to figure out where and who behind it. Showing an age of technology. Interesting and how Randall is learning to think outside the box. DAYBREAK A good. dystopian/suspense , with the characters of Nora and Randell, and their bantering. . This taking us into a world with technology that can cause major shut down. Good flowing pace. HIGH NOON Nora and Randall on the job and off they enjoy and trust one another. This brought in the ranger Tom in the best of the 4 cyber stories. Informative,, raffling down into the canyon, relaxing and enjoying the scenery when the work is done. Enjoyable to have read all 4 together.
This book was actually four novellas. In truth I would probably give this book about a 4.5. I liked some of the stories and some I didn’t. And I felt like it was a little disjointed because of the different stories. I would’ve liked it better I think if it had all been tied together in one story. One thing I will say is that the author is very creative and knowledgeable in the area of tech sabotage, as well as dangerous endeavors. But by being novellas, some things were missing, particular in character development and understanding how each of the stories were connected.
I would like this author to write some more mystery books in a series where there is full story development. I like how her brain works.
Definitely a page turner can't put-down set of novellas. I appreciated the development of the main character and her partner throughout all the novellas. I enjoyed the use of novellas for a quick summer read.
Loved these 4 Novella’s and they so detailed that I a non computer savvy person could follow these cyber attacks that took place in different locations all over the US and overseas. Nora and her faithful partners worked well together. The stories kept me glued to each one. Great books!
I read the 1st book in this set and then discovered that there was a box set of all the books in this series. Each book can be read individually, but to get the full picture, this set is perfect. You will follow Nora and her partner and they attempt to stop Cyber-attacks before they can be set off. The cases are well done and the stories are something to be read.
