Sophia Beaufont hopes that she can turn an enemy into an ally. She just has to track down the steampunk cyborg.
The problem is that Trin Currante thinks that Dragon Elite want her dead. And she's excellent at avoiding death - as her history of surviving and prevailing over adversity has shown.
Meanwhile, Hiker still still struggles to hone his powers. . .
Regardless of his strength, Ainsley doesn't show signs of softening toward the leader of the Dragon Elite. If anything, he should fear the housekeeper might poison his next meal.
While dragon eggs continue to hatch, magicians are going missing worldwide.
The House of Fourteen is losing credibility with governments. Chaos is spreading around the planet. And Sophia suspects that the Saverus Corporation is behind everything.

They just keep getting better and better. Lots and lots of exciting things happening in this story, new alliances, an understanding of exactly who is too dog. Some things we have been waiting for revealed and some we will still be waiting for. Some surprises. Great reading!!!!!!
As in all of Sophia's adventures she is overrun with tasks to perform. She just can't say No! When a mysterious package lands at her feet, in the middle of the day, in the middle of the street, Lunis warns her to beware. Nope not Sophia. She must open it. A note inside simply says "Help Me". No return on the package, only the River Company address label which simply says- Sophia Beaufort. Well, off she goes to see who and what wants help. This is just a day in the life of Sophia. She hates violence and hopes to resolve all disputes with logic. I lost track of the number of cases she is working on in this book but as usual, she neglects no one that needs her. Including the top of her list, Liv Beaufort her sister. Very enjoyable read but it is taking me longer to read and savor them. I don't want to miss anything important.
More Easter Eggs! It’s fun discovering hidden treasures as I read this amazing series. They are sprinkled throughout, and knowing what they are and recognising them is a lot of fun. I’m a,os enjoying the references to the current situation with the pandemic and measures being taken in relation to that.
We see the plot developing further, with more twists and turns around every corner. The storyline continues to intrigue me, and I’m amazed at how Sarah integrates everything with the plot. The side missions Sophia embarks upon truly add to the overall feel of the story, and have me laughing so hard!
This book definitely redeemed the last one. There was a lot of action and romance which I greatly appreciated. There were a lot of mini-bosses and missions that tied up the loose ends. In a sense, this felt like a filler book because Sophia was completing all the side missions that didn't particularly progress the plot. But, she did gain a true friend.
It's a kind of mess plotwise . The Trin currante-plot is just so..I dunno, can't describe in elegant wording in English but it feels so loosely connected to the dragon riders world and why cyborg pirates?? Its just like "lets see how much goofy mess I can get away with" or written by a child? Don't love this series honestly, Liv was so much better as a character.
It had me glued to the pages, and resenting anything that stopped me from continuing the story being told.
Sophia, and Wilder, are doing their best not to upset Hiker with their relationship but, when Sophia gives Hiker the golden token that can take him back to the point in time that everything changed for him, he learns something that would change his thinking.
Then the Dragon Elite, and the house of Fourteen join together to help Trin to stop Mika Lenna from ruining the lives of even more young Magicians, and this, too, changes the lives of many.
This book was so full of twists and turns, of plots, regrets, and reunions, but, most of all, it was full of the love that the Beaufonts always try to spread around as much as possible.
Then there are the constant Lunis puns! I laugh soooo much when Sophia and Lunis start punning! Lol
I'm so loving these stories, and can't wait to start the next one in line, which is book seven: Harmonize Hostilities!
I can't imagine it being any better than this book: Rectify Injustice, has been, but I'll read it, and catch you on the flip side to let you know if it is!
Trin Currante is not a bad person after all, she’s just trying to find a way to return to human. Meanwhile things in the Gullington are in turmoil. Wilder is trying to deal with his new doubled powers and Ainsley’s anger with him for taking her memories. Evan is trying to figure out how to get along with Quiet who (as the castle) is not cooperating with anyone. Lunis is going crazy dealing with the ‘evil’ baby dragons. The only two who are enjoying themselves are Sophia and Hiker. And of course, Mama Jamba. When Trin Currante joins the fun things get really interesting.
The ‘pee spots’ made my heart ache. And Ticker is the most adorable brownie ever. But the Beanstalk thing is a very childish copy of the old fairy tale. Of course, with fairy godmothers in here it fits in.
Fave scenes: Lunis’s Doctor Who analogy, Lee’s paperwork problems, Liv’s wedding and Hiker in the past.
Another enjoyable, funny instalment in the Exceptional S. Beaufont series. Sophia is tasked with finding Trin Currante and enlisting her as an ally in the fight against the Saverus Corporation, figuring out how Ainsley can recover her memories and freedom, as well as helping Hiker and the House of Fourteen track down the missing magicians. I loved the humour, action, substories and repartee between the characters, especially between Sophia and her sister Liv. Lunis also always manages to add humour to any part of the story that he is in. The film references were great and I enjoyed seeing the Dragon Elite fight as a team. I love the development of all the various relationships and I can not wait to see what happens in the next book
This was so good!! I'm not big into the fighting scenes, but more the characters interactions with each other. This book so far has really opened up some of the characters we only get snippets of. Like Hiker. I knew he would have an interesting back story and I was not disappointed. I can't wait to see where his story goes. I love how Sarah connects her other stories together. She so good at giving us long time readers Easter eggs. Somethings are silly like beanstalk and giants, but it's that silliness that make these books fun. I can't fathom what else these books can come up with. After 6 books of 500+ pages I'm more in awe than normal for they keep coming out and keep me going...wow!
I'm really not sure how to review this. Throughout this series, I keep getting told that Trin isn't a bad person. I get that she was wronged. I get that she's been hurt. I get that she wants her old life back. But good people don't murder others.
I'm not even talking about taking vengeance on the people who wronged her. I'm talking about the librarian, the other cyborgs, and anyone else who she killed to make it to her endgame.
Noffke has a fantastic imagination, and she pours her heart and soul into her characters.
Sophia's tales are full of action, adventure, and love. They're exciting and humorous.
However, I enjoyed Liv's series much more.
I like these books (which is why it gets 4 stars). I think I just need to quit comparing them to Liv's.
Really looking forward to the next! Loved the action and the plot twists. The characters have become like friends. Especially when Liv is able to go on missions with her sister. Is the Fairy Godmother series still being considered? We need more of them especially when they feed you fresh brownies that won't make you gain weight. Sarah, would love to see you use Queen songs in the next book or maybe Leonard Skinner? Can't really say which i loved best, the story or the authors notes! 😅 thank you Sarah and Michael for all you do to keep your readers entertained especially during our forced hibernation.
Fun adventures for Sophia and co.. Book 6 and it's still going strong. So many different adventures in this one. There is a lot going on in this world, and the Dragon Elite and Sophia seem to be involved in it all. In Rectify Injustice we meet some fun new characters, and things start to fall into place.
I love how Liv and the House of Fourteen continue in this series as I loved Liv's series and it's great to continue along with them. It's great how they are all intertwined. Bring on book 7!
As someone who loves Taylor Swift and Snow Patrol an exorbitant amount (went to more than 25 shows in a tour type of exorbitant) - the push to include references to these two artists in the book was a little far fetched and made reading it difficult.
I wanted to see more growth from Sophia or Hiker but it seemed like a drawn out arc that leaves on another wait until the next book. Still loving the universe of this book but starting to become disinterested in the characters.
Great books and series for these crazy times! An escaping adventure but still has valuable core ideals throughout. Friendship, family, love, and working together is the best way to fight evil. Always hilarious with the best characters. Sarah your author notes are laugh out loud priceless! What about Bon Jovi for your next book title challenge?? Lastly since I'm a car lady...how about Plato finding love?? Just a suggestion :)
I have laughed many times throughout this story. Not just a titter of laughter I hurt a times when laughing. The story is a good one and one that has some answers to some of our questions throughout Sarah Noffke's books on the Beaufont Sisters. It is good to escape what is going on in the real world to just soak up the story from somone's mind. I love all the characters. Even though some are downright dumb. I hope you will get the books and start your adventure.
Sophia has so much to do in this book! Going back in time, scorpions, her sister's big day, helping Ains, helping Wilder, fighting fae and octopuses, climbing a few things, falling a few times, making enemies into friends, and hunting the bad guy to name but a few! All the while figuring out really bad puns as she goes. Great read and I am dying to get into the next one so you will have to read it yourself to find all the awesomeness!
As much as there is a story to be told, the real reason we read this is to see where reality becomes fantasy mostly from Noffkes life and how it will fit into the book with random references to pop culture and her daily events? The relationships that come from these help power this book along very well, and so does the chuckles which highlight the stronger messages behind saving the world.
For those people who love fantasy, magic, dragons, and quirky humor, Rectify Injustice is a terrific choice. This book has Sophie the dragon rider going on many adventures with her dragon and her unusual cast of friends including Zac Elfron in one case.
Of course it’s best to start at the beginning with book one of the series, especially since each book is terrific, and you won’t want to miss any of them.
The book series is pretty much PG13 with some language and violence.
This is a spin off series from the "Unstoppable LIV Beaufont"..which is a great series. The story is about Sophia Beaufont (LIV's little sis) and about her being the 1st dragon rider in 100 years and 1st female rider EvER & all of her and her dragons challenges and adventures and love..ect. I love the characters and personalities in this series and its funny. I also really enjoy how author pulls in charachters from Sister LiV story. Mrs.C 💋
In book 6 there are changes in how the Elite view the cyborgs and Hiker is slowly coming into the balance he needs to survive. The crazy missions of S Beaufort continue and her love life seems to be moving along. You'll definitely enjoy this book and if you haven't yet started The Exceptional S Beaufort series, what are you waiting for?
Lots happening in this chapter! Excellent progression and there's a FINALLY in this book we've been waiting for A few actually. You're gonna love it!!! Howard S (the S stands for Super Fan!)
Lots of fun reading this one. Sophia gets all kinds of trouble from all directions. In spite of every distraction you can imagine v she wins her way through. Fun read.
Now waiting for book 7! Excellent read. Love the author's writing style. Fast paced, children 's humor, danger, dragons, a wedding, fun and serious at the same time. Highly recommended. Happy reading!
In the words of my first Doctor this series is absolutely fantastic. Almost everybody lived this once. Thank you Sarah and Michael for a bunch of crazy, caring family members
Loved it so far I haven't been disappointed . The chapter with the mission to the top of the reinstall was priceless. Can't wait the next book. Thanks for a terrific distraction from our stressful loved that are filled with uncertainty.
A little too much with the Lunis (dad) jokes. Got a bit juvenile instead of funny and would have liked more character development of the new characters. Sorry.
