Another old trope "best friends become lovers", classic but never gets old, and this one was executed rightly which is why I gave it 4 stars. Their miscommunication aggravated me a bit but it's understandable why they acted like that.

So angsty and fluffy, my heart can't take it! I always love love stories that is built from long time friendship. That realization of loving the other person and keeping it, not knowing the other felt the same way too always warms my heart.

Als ich diesen Manga das erste Mal beim Stöbern entdeckte, dachte ich mir, dass ich ihn unbedingt haben muss. Das Cover ist süß und die Beschreibung ist ebenfalls unheimlich niedlich gewesen. Das Artwork hat mich total angesprochen.
Es ist ein schöner BL-Einzelband über zwei Freunde, die über die Jahre hinweg mehr füreinander empfinden als Freundschaft. Akira liebt Yuto und Yuto liebt Akira. Doch beide haben ein Problem: sie sind sich ihrer Gefühle sicher, können es aber dem jeweils anderen nicht sagen. Bis eines Tages die Situation „eskaliert“. Doch welche Auswirkungen hat das auf die Freundschaft der beiden?
Ich mag Akira sehr. Er ist zwar lebhaft, aber doch irgendwie schüchtern – zumindest wenn es um seine Gefühle für Yuto geht. Er hat kein Problem damit Leute anzusprechen und auf sie zuzugehen. Er ist mit Yuto, der eher schüchtern und ruhig ist, seit der Grundschule befreundet. Yuto schweigt auch mehr und benimmt sich eher wie eine Glucke. Ständig passt er auf Akira auf. Das war schon in der Schule so und ist auch während der Uni nicht anders. Nur, dass er auf einmal mehr will als bloß Freundschaft. Konkurrenz bekommt Yuto jedoch von einem Kommilitonen.
Die Erzählung der Geschichte ist gut gemacht. Die Geschwindigkeit der Handlung passt sehr gut zu den Charakteren. Es wird nichts überhastet. Die Frustration der Charaktere über ihre Situation kommt deutlich zum Ausdruck. Das Artwork passt dazu sehr gut. Es ist sehr schön gearbeitet, könnte aber noch etwas feiner sein an der einen oder anderen Stelle. Aber insgesamt ein schlüssiges und passendes Konzept.
„I Want To Do What Lovers Do“ ist ein eher ruhiger BL-Manga mit ein paar erotisch angehauchten Szenen, bei denen auf eine Zensur verzichtet wurde. Die Story hat mir gefallen und gern hätte ich mehr von den beiden gehabt, wie sie ihre Beziehung weiterentwickeln.

Como no podía ser de esta mangaka, este tomo autoconclusivo también es precioso, emotivo, conmovedor. Tomo consiguió hacerme un nudo en el pecho y no dejarme respirar hasta que llegué a la última página.

Aw yis~
Best-friends-slash-childhood-friends-to-lovers combined with only-gay-for-you trope can never go wrong((if executed properly lol)) [chef's kiss]. The plot was shallow but a good-good-shallow, with a smooth storyline. I really like Toma Kurahashi's art-style ((i sound like a broken record bcs i keep repeating it over and over again lmao)). A simple character design combined with a thin lineart? Yum! Super lovely! The outfits was really nice and trendy, it matches with their respective characters.
Very light and enjoyable. Such a fun and cute read! I genuinely want more. Uw.

Solita storia dolce che da amici diventano amanti. Disegni bellissimi e protagonisti caratterizzati abbastanza bene; si sentiva l’amore che provavano l’uno per l’altro. Qualcosa di leggero e senza dramma da leggere in poco tempo.

Una storia molto semplice e scorrevole. Due ragazzi amici fin dalle elementari che si riscoprono innamorati. Inutile dire che i due sono dei completi imbecilli, terrorizzati dalla prospettiva di perdere la sacra amicizia e si comportano di conseguenza...si rincorrono per tutto il volume tra un momento imbarazzante e l'altro prima di decidersi e dichiarare i propri sentimenti. La storia è carina ma... alla fine non rimane molto dopo la lettura. Non è nulla di epico o memorabile bensì l'ennesimo libro in cui i due tizi sono innamorati ma non hanno il coraggio di muoversi per confessare i sentimenti per timore di rovinare l'amicizia, si comportano da scemi facendo capire a tutto il mondo cosa provano, nonostante vedano il disagio e il palese amore negli occhi dell'altro preferiscono negare fino alla morte e... come ogni Bl che si rispetti...ovviamente riescono a confessarsi solo dopo una piccola spinta esterna, del solito amico furbetto e con due neuroni in più rispetto alla coppietta. Una storiella che si basa su tutti i cliché più classici del genere e diciamolo...dimenticabilissima nel tempo, utile però per staccare la spina. Essendo molto breve viene a mancare completamente la caratterizzazione dei personaggi, qualche capitolo di flashback in cui vedere come il rapporto si era evoluto negli anni ad esempio avrebbero dato più spessore alla vicenda e permesso di capire l'evoluzione dei sentimenti nel tempo e i caratteri dei giovani. Una storia che aveva del potenziale, seppur limitato, ma che non l'ha colto al meglio riducendosi a una trama banale e già vista. Nulla di nuovo sotto il sole. Se cercate qualcosa di leggero e non avete troppe pretese può fare al caso vostro in caso contrario potete pure passare oltre che tanto non vi perdete nulla

Das war ein süßer Boyslove mit sehr angenehmen, netten Charakteren, aber irgendwie fehlte einfach das Drumherum oder der Pepp.
Es geht hier um zwei Freunde aus Kindheitstagen, die nun auch noch zusammen zur Uni gehen und zusammenleben. Beide empfinden mehr als nur Freundschaft füreinander und trauen es sich nicht dem anderen zu gestehen. Dann gibt es auch noch ein kleines Missverständnis, dass natürlich aus Dramatikgründen wieder nicht in einem einfachen Gespräch aus der Welt geräumt wird und so handelt der ganze Manga davon, wie die beiden denn nun wirklich zusammenkommen.
Das war dann leider etwas langweilig. Positiv waren aber die beiden Hauptcharaktere (mehr spielten hier eh kaum eine Rolle). Die waren unglaublich sympathisch und halt Charaktere über die ich gern lese. Ebenfalls positiv war, dass die intimen Szenen nicht zensiert waren, trotzdem nicht zu explizit und häufig vorkamen.
Der Zeichenstil gefiel mit gut, aber ich habe auch schon bessere gesehen, bzw. welche die mir noch besser gefielen.
Alles in allem war es keine Zeitverschwendung den Manga zu lesen, aber ich hätte mir etwas mehr Pepp darin gewünscht.

Estuvo bien para mi. Creo que el inicio del manga es donde te genera más interés, pero eso se pierde un poco con los capítulos, se torna un poco cliche y uno sabe por donde va a seguir la historia. Por eso siento que solo estuvo bien.
No soy una gran fan de Tomo Kurahashi y, con excepción de “Enamoremonos”, este debe ser el que considero mejorcito de los demás. Y es solamente porque sigue una formula clásica pero infalible.
Sigue la formula del chico enamorado de su mejor amigo de la infancia, el cual después nos enteramos siempre amo al primero. En ese campo ya tengo un manga favorito que es Shitsuren Junky. Así que si me pongo a comparar cualquiera con ese manga, termina perdiendo.

Para comenzar, yo amo, pero en serio AMO CON ANSIAS NECIAS el arte de Kurahashi, podría ir a besarle las manos de tener la oportunidad, por lo que este aspecto es un total 100/10 en este manga.
Por otra parte, la historia resultó ser más linda de lo que esperaba, pero aún así me fastidió un poco debido a los terribles problemas por ✨falta de comunicación✨ y tomando en cuenta que los protagonistas son mejores amigos, esto se vuelve aún más cansado.
Dejando de lado la falta de comunicación, podría decir que la historia me gustó mucho, pero no es de lo que más me ha gustado de Kurahashi.

“I Want To Do What Lovers Do” ist ein schöner Klassiker in Richtung WG und Sandkastenfreunde.
Akira ist schon lange in seinen besten Freund Yuto verliebt, doch er weiß nicht, dass dieser dieselben Gefühle für ihn hat. Aufgrund von Missverständnissen und viele kommunikativen Problemen wird deren Liebesgeschichte etwas komplizierter.
Die Zeichnungen sprechen mich sehr an und in das Cover bin ich verliebt!! Die Charaktereigenschaften der beiden sind ziemlich gegensätzlich und doch irgendwie sehr ähnlich, weshalb sie sehr gut miteinander harmonieren.

Considering this was my first Manga ever I really loved it!! It was easier than expected to get into reading from right to left and getting the speech bubbles in the right order. The Story between Akira and Yuto was very sweet, compelling and wholesome 🥰 and also with a good amount of spice. One could really empathize with the protagonists, whether to confess their love for each other or not.The illustrations were nicely done.

It was cute and the art is gorgeous. I thought the first chapter was from Suga's POV and 2nd chapter from Haga's POV... I was not so sure of it by the end. I don't like it when one of them catches the other in the middle of mast and "helps" him, but I love it when it is about two best friends, one of them pinning for the other for years. Overall, it was cute but nothing outstanding.

Un nuevo BL por parte de Tomo Kurahashi y Arechi Manga. Hace poco ya os hablé de ¡Formemos una familia! y ¡Enamorémonos! dos BL de la misma autora.
Este es más ligero, con un poco de fan service y un chilhood friends to lovers. No os digo nada más, que con lo cortito que es, perdería la gracia. Pero si habéis leído algo de la autora y os mola, ya sabéis.

Franchement, ce titre était assez banal. Si vous aimez les amis d'enfance qui vivent en colocation et qui s'aiment secrètement, sont incapables d'en discuter et avec une dose de malentendu, ça devrait vous plaire. On frôle le non-consentement au moins une fois mais ça passe...

This started out good and the plot/ concept was really nice. However, after the nth time they got interrupted or they cut eo off before they could communicate how they feel- it just got so annoying. It's really my pet peeve when an intimate scene gets interrupted unnecessarily ugh

Un BL amb un argument molt suat i poc original: dos amics inseparables d'infància s'agraden, però no volem fer el pas per por a perdre l'amistat. Les il·lustracions estan bé, però no aporta res de nou i els protagonistes són poc memorables.

This was cuuute. Their miscommunication is annoying but not stretched longer than needed. It's a little confusing at the end, but that could just be the translation. The characters are cute and their relationship dynamic is so sweet.
