Duke is on leave from Afghanistan to plan the funeral of his abusive father. He reconnects with his best friend Trigger who is like a brother to him and where Duke spent most of his time because they treated him like family especially Mama Dee. Duke has not been back since he joined the Military because he wanted to put distance between Tiggers sister Nikki & himself. Duke felt it was wrong for him to have feelings for his best friends/brother baby sister. Things are not easy for Duke and Nikki to come together but you will have to read to find out if they make it. #Note this an MC Romance, has strong language, sex and Violence.#

A good and fast read. Duke is on leave from the military to plan a funeral and reconnects with his best friend, Trigger. The only problem was Trigger’s sister, Nikki, wasn’t there to greet him. Will Duke be able to find her and set things right between them? I really enjoyed Duke and Nikki’s story.

Duke and Nikki have loved each other for years, but he thinks he is not good enough for her. This is a quick, but good read. I loved the storyline and all the characters. When Nikki disappears, Duke will move heaven and eartg to find her. Their connection and love for each other has never died. Will he be able to find her and have the life they are meant to have?

A quick but good read! They fell for each other in high school and it never died but she's not there when he gets out from the military. Now they have to find their way to each other to get their HEA. This is Duke and Nikki's story and it's a good one that has an emotional secondary storyline.

Duke kind of dances around Nikki until her brother, Duke's best friend, gives the green light. The siblings need to disappear just before Duke gets out of the military, and they spend months apart. This story is very angsty, and has some secondary unresolved suspense. Good story.

I love MC books and I especially love this author. I was so excited to hear about her releasing a new book. You ever meet someone and feel like they deserve better? You feel so much for the person but think you aren't worthy. Hot Sexy caring D has so much past hurt and it makes him feel like he doesn't deserve anything good. Nikki is just what he needs. Jump on this emotional heart-felt action-packed ride!

A Marine who grew up with best friend Trigger and his sister Nikki. Abusive father and absent mother. Went into the Marines to escape and have purpose. Falls in love with Nikki. Drama happens to Nikki and T so when Duke returns he cannot locate them. Eventually they find one another and Nikki has a little boy. Duke had joined his Marine brothers MC to learn his best friend T joined a different MC. Duke pulls his head out of his butt and gets the family he wants. In my copy a lot of errors, grammar, punctuation, overuse of nodding and the term baby. Many sentences are disjointed and don’t flow but the main point is easy to understand.
