Naomi Rawlings is the author of historical Christian novels, including the Amazon bestselling Eagle Harbor Series. While she'd love to claim she spends her days huddled in front of her computer vigorously typing, in reality, she spends her time homeschooling, cleaning, picking up, and pretending like her house isn't in a constant state of chaos. She lives with her husband and three children in Michigan's rugged Upper Peninsula, along the southern shore of Lake Superior where they get 200 inches of snow every year, and where people still grow their own vegetables and cut down their own firewood--just like in the historical novels she writes.

I seldom get a chance to read fiction. So to read six in series was pure luxury. It took me a while to get through them, because I allowed myself to only read these at bedtime. Each character I became acquainted with became my friend. When I read the first chapter of the sixth book in the series, I didn't want this adventure to end.

Naomi Rawlings is a talented writer. As a loyal Christian of Jesus Christ, I would not hesitate to give these books to anyone. These books are suitable for young teens to adult.

I have read this whole series and thoroughly enjoyed reading these books. Naomi Rawlings intrigued me from the first book I read in this series. It was offered as a free book and I am so happy that I accepted the free book and once I started reading I couldn't put the ebook down, I quickly ordered the rest of this set and recently completed this series. Her books intrigued me and kept me wanting to read more and more.

Now I look forward to reading the Texas series and have completed Book 1 already.

The first three were audio books and I bought the series so I could finish the last three. I really became a part of Eagle Harbor and the lives of the characters in each book. Facing their fears, forgiving themselves and each other, making a new life for themselves. Descriptive scenery, twists and turns, hardships and celebrations makes this series a very enjoyable read.

This series is a breath of fresh air. I was distracted for days in this true to life, historical fiction series. Naomi Rawlings captures the culture of the period and location, developing each character and story; inspiring hope, and faith in the most of difficult times. I highly recommend her work and look forward to more, although I must tear away to get back to responsibilities!

Loved this series. Reading the Eagle Harbor Series made you feel you were right there by Lake Superior. The development of the characters made you feel that you knew them. The mixture of romance and suspense was just the right amount. She also used her faith to shine through her writing. Looking forward to reading more of her books.

I loved this series. There is suspense, drama and good clean romance. Great characters, though some of their issues can get a little drawn out - but great stories.

Could use better proofreading here and there as well. Not bad enough to deter me though.

I totally enjoyed the Eagle Harbor Collection. These were a great read and so fun to read in the evenings.
