He took me. Kept me as his own-- his plaything, his woman to toy with and torture whenever he felt like it. I've been trapped within these four walls for over a year. The slowest most agonizing year of my life. I begged for him to kill me, yet he wouldn't. You know why? Because he had too much fun with me. That's what he said. It's what he always said-- how much he enjoyed it all. There came a point when I thought it would never end . . . but it did.
Dante My cousin Eduardo pulled her from the clutches of a monster. I don't call him that lightly. In our business we've seen many who are animals in suits. However, this man . . . he is among the most vile. I knew the moment she walked through my father's estate how she fancied my cousin. He even mentioned to me how she flirted with him a couple times before she was taken. I knew the woman had been through hell, and yet I didn't care. I saw the spark in her eye when she looked at my cousin, and I hated him for it. A mere glance, and I craved her more than any drug. She doesn't know it, but she will be mine.

Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read! Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.
This a great continuation of the Reapers MC. I love it , it gets better with each story of the series. She’s been thur hell on earth and held by the devil himself. She doesn’t think she’ll live to ever get away and return to her family. He is a true sociopath . She’s been with him, as his prisoner for over a year and has endured torture that no one should. He’s asked to help find her after his family member was killed trying to help her. When he first see’s her he thinks she is beautiful, even covered in filth. They find that they love each other and are working on being there for each other. They have a deep love that a lot of people don’t understand or see. They are the same.
Amara was a great story, it had a strong well written plot that was filled with many emotions. Elizabeth Knox did a great job on it. Amara and Dante were strong characters that a rough path, their journey had it's ups and downs but they were stronger together than apart. The connection between them was strong, their chemistry was sexy. They were made for each other. I enjoyed this story, it was good. Thank you, Elizabeth Knox. Great work :)
I've read a lot of books written by Elizabeth Knox; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.
I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
Amara was taken and used as his plaything and was ready to die. Eduardo saves her and she falls hard for him, Dante is his cousin and he falls for her. Dante plans to make her his. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. The characters have lots of depth and the story draws you in from beginning to end. I really liked it.
This book showed how much Amara has grown. She has been a character you loved to hate. But in this book we see another side of her. We see the selfless Amara and you have to root for her. Dante is her perfect match. I really enjoyed this book.
The weird message at the beginning of the book irritates me. The author says there are possible triggers but she won't say which because of spoilers. That is lazy, selfish, and inconsiderate. You can give trigger warnings without spoiling it. She's basically saying read this and deal with it or don't read it. I think it's a crappy thing to do. I need to know beforehand if a book is safe, and I will be mad if I end up reading an unsafe book because the author couldn't say "hey, this book isn't 'safe'". If there's a book with abuse or violence, just say "hey, this book may have triggers due to abuse or violence". None of this gives spoilers and it informs the reader. I feel like the author is trying to trick people into reading it by not giving needed info.
I have a hard time liking Amara, and I can't stand Widow, so him being in the book wasn't great. It was understandable given their history, but why is he disrespecting his woman by going after his ex?
I know people aren't perfect, but I can't get past her abortion and very dumb reason for it. It made zero sense.
There were grammatical errors.
What I did like:
I like the ending and what she's planning.
Forgiveness and acceptance are good themes. I don't like how it was done, but it could have been worse.
AMARA IS STRENGTH At the end of Dixon's book Amara is kidnapped by Lucian who is Satan incarnate. I was going stir crazy over that cliffhanger just wondering WTF that psycho will do to her but HOLY FREAKIN MOLY! What he did was so much more than what I'd imagined. The torture Amara endured was beyond anything any person should have to endure. When we find out what happened it had me crying on my Kindle. It was heartbreaking but the condition they find her in kinda shocked me, I wasn't expecting that and the decision she makes just goes to show how strong she is. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say I'm sad that she made the choice she did but I'm also glad she gave something so precious to two people who may have never known that kind of love otherwise. Now, Dante, picture him as the model on the cover of the book, he is a gorgeous dirty talkin alpha that will set your crotch on fire has his sights set on Amara, and even though she fights it you just know she can't say no to him for long. These two are so sexy that when they're together all you want is more. Allegiances will be made and secrets will be revealed. I'm excited to see where this dynamic due will go and how much stronger they'll become. I extremely recommend this series to everyone.
I've been following Amara's story since the beginning of the Reapers MC and I could not have imagined what she had to go through to end up being happy. Reading her story brought so many mix emotions from sadness to giddiness. She was always the strong one in every situation she faced and always alone.... till Dante saved her. Dante is everything she had been wanting and more. He supported her during one of the most difficult decisions she had to make..... He didn't even judge her only loved her more..... How amazing is that!
I love that Elizabeth Knox is giving her characters life. As a latina I feel happiness and excitement when I'm reading a novel and it's mixed in english and spanish..... Spanglish😉 Gracias por ser una autora unica y maravillosa!
I'm so excited to see what the future holds for Amara and Dante.....possibly a new MC🙊😍 yes please!!!
Amara is book 12 in the amazing Reapers MC series written by the talented author Elizabeth Knox. Join Amara and Dante in a journey of self discovering, sacrifices, secrets, family and love! NO Spoilers here!! This book is filled with action, drama, suspense, great suffering, revenge, passion, sexy cartel members, strong family values and a happy ending. Can't wait for more in this series!

If you followed this series from the start than you been waiting for Amare’s story since the epic ending from the last book. This was not for the faint of heart, sensitive subject that brings life to the character may not be for everyone. Amare stayed strong through her horrific year long captivity by Lucian. When she gets out she doesn’t expect to meet Dante. I loved their connection throughout her time of recovery. The intertwining of the cartel world with the MC was interesting to see come to life. I can’t wait to see where this series continues with all the new characters that is needing their own story to be told.
This was a fantastic story that I have been waiting for, and it certainly did not disappoint. Finally learning more about the mystery that is Amara was enlightening, as well as explained many things about her relationship with her brother Damon. I am thrilled that she finally got her HEA, which was truly deserved for both of them. I'm looking forward to reading more from this outstanding series! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.
Wow is the first thing I can about Amara's story. I'm so happy to finally see her story. I'm so glad to read she is found. I love that she is finally forgiving herself. And starting to find her way to the life she was meant to have. I couldn't put this book down til I read it from start to finish. I read it in one go. Keep going with the amazing books. I love all the reaper series. And cant wait for Grimm's to tone released.
Amara's book was different than the rest of the Reaper's MC books but so good. Amara went thru Hell and back and then some but she came thru it a stronger woman. It took courage to do what she did. I think it made her more human. I never liked Amara until her book. She is actually just a woman who made mistakes in her life. I think those mistakes have made her a better person now. Take a chance and read Amara, you won't regret it.
Amara was someone everyone wanted to hate, but she was someone I knew was just misunderstood. Her story delves into the misconceptions of her and her life. Dante is the missing piece to make readers able to connect to her. I absolutely love these 2 characters and Amara will always be my 2nd favorite Reapers character. I can't wait to see what Elizabeth has in store for her in the future ❤❤
Loved Amara’s and Dante’s story. These two are a perfect match for each other. So glad they were able to end Lucien and his evil ways. I felt so bad for all the crap he put her through, the torment and just everything he did to her. Glad she finally reached out to her family as well. She was able to put her demons aside and start her life anew. Thank you for another truly good read.
I went into this book honestly not knowing what to expect. I've never been a fan of Amara. I have totally changed my attitude towards her and wound up not only liking her, but having a new respect for her. Dante is yummy, and actually has a heart of gold when it comes to those he loves. Looking forward to more with this new twist added in at the end. Great read!
I enjoy reading your series because you tie in the other characters. To get to read about the others development while reading the main characters grow is awesome. I am so happy Amara finally found a love that matched her. To see how strong Dante is and how they complimented each other. Awesome book. Super excited to read Chaz story. Also when is Incs story being told?
I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty good book. I really enjoyed all of the characters. This was a book of rescue, compassion, sacrifice, and overall just being a good person and protecting someone. Pretty great read. I think the author did an amazing job in writing this book. I recommend this book to all romance and MC lovers.
Another awesome addition to the Reapers MC series. I Love the Reapers MC books so much!!! Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I can't wait until the next book comes out to see what happens next.
Having read the other books in the series, I didn’t care for Amara’s character going into this book. However, she quickly began to grow on me, and I’m happy that she not only got her own book but found happiness with Dante.
Fabulous read, I absolutely loved Amara and Dante’s story ❤️❤️❤️ this woman is a survivor, a fighter and the epitome of badass. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I do not even want to call this b…..a heroine. She does not deserve a happily ever after she stole her best friend’s boyfriend .she slept with her best friend’s boyfriend. What kind of woman does that? She should not be having her own story. I hope she dies in a horrible death. What a b….
Great strong characters and storyline. It was nice that Amara got her story. The end left room for expanding characters to the series and reading the authors note, there’s more to come.
Amara has been held captive for a year and is finally rescued, but not her former self. After all the brutality, starvation, and rapes, she needs time to figure herself out and deal with her situation. Dante seems to be just the man to be there for her. I love Dante. He has seen Amara at her worst moments and is there for her at those moments, helping as best he can. Turns into a beautiful story.
