Rig Warrior #2

Wheels of Death

Rate this book
Barry Rivers Crove his first rig when he was ten years old. Then life took him far from his Cajun roots and his dad's trucking business. A war, a busted marriage, a twilight hitch in Washington -- and suddenly the ex-Special Forces hero was back in Louisiana to take on his father's worst enemies. Rivers won the war, but lost the last battle, when the only woman he had ever loved was killed by a bomb blast meant for him.

Now Rivers is alive in a hospital, but his identity has been destroyed and all he has left is his rage and his dog named "Dog". That makes him the perfect man to become the perfect secret warrior, chosen by the U.S. President himself. Climbing up into his Kenworth, he points the big rig toward Kentucky mining country, where a depraved family is raping, killing, and stealing everything in sight. For Rivers, the mission is clear: be judge, jury, and executioner. But if he takes one step over the line, he'll be dead.

Pretty good men's adventure series. If you like big rigs, guns and violence you will enjoy the series. Recommended

DOG

I shouldn't have been surprised that I would have enjoyed reading this book. At one time I had all of the Rig Warrior books. The mountain Man, (First mountain and last mountain man). I losted all when Katrina Came through. My first book was Down the Long Hill. Now everything you write with his name on it I buy. He my favour. Needless to say I have enjoyed reading this

Proof readers, where are you?

The plot was ok, a little over the top at times.

Writing itself, was poor. Numerous spelling and grammatical errors. I have read numerous books by this author, especially the ashes series. I have never seen the poor writing before. Almost wonder if it was by a ghost writer.

Very good book. Wonder if there are other books like these with over the road characters?

This is what I suppose would be a typical action novel. The lead character is a government-sanctioned killer and truck driver. The concept is interesting in that aspect.

This particular novel revolves around the main character going into a backwoods county under the control of a corrupt and evil family. In my opinion, the evil family was a bit over the top. But, I suppose what this type of book is pretty much about.

It's not a bad read, although it's a bit cheesey and unbelievable at times. Otherwise, it's not a bad way to waste a few days.
