Sometimes a man prepares for something all his life and doesn’t even know it. When Travis Bradshaw left his family ranch in Wyoming Territory to strike out on his own, all he wanted was for his life to make some kind of sense. Instead, he ended up going to war. Range war. And then he found out that his greatest enemy was his own brother.
The Bradshaw family is struggling to keep the ranch afloat. Pa is ill, his wife is many years his junior, his boys are teens and young men, and one son is pure evil. The peace keeping brother leaves the family and sets the stage for evil to reign. Story begins very slow. Almost quit reading. Last three chapters saved the book.
I picked up this book because of the author's name. It's close to mine. This book just keeps going non stop. Beginning to end, it's a fantastic read. I am happy to recommend this book to anyone who likes fast-moving fun and great stories. Have fun reading this western.
Sorry attempt at plagiarism! CJ Petit has a style of writing that is distinctive! No way to miss it. Now I think I'll go over to his site and pick up his newest!!! Might as well get the best.
