Interesting sequel
I enjoyed the story, but oh boy was this like reading a first draft! "I wrapped my arms legs around his waist..." Words missing, typos, wrong words, a sentence that ended in the middle, and more than one completely incomprehensible phrase. It's a great story, very engrossing, but it needs an editor. If I'd paid full price and not gotten it through the kindle unlimited program, I would have been pissed off. But the characters are interesting and feel real and I'm off to look for the next book.

Shows promise
This book was good. It interested me. It was again in the fmc pov. The natural flow of words built a world easily pictured. I did find it to be slow, then fast then slow again. Why doesn’t she speak up about her predictions? Why doesn’t she speak up about her ex best friend bunking in the same room? Sure, we all have our reasons, but I found the fmc to be a push over. Let’s everyone else control the situation, and it’s easier for her to accept everything everyone else decides to do. It peeved me a few times when she did this and when she allowed the guys to pretend she means nothing to them in public, allowing others the drape themselves over them. The Queens are all b!+ches with psychotic tendencies. They are all out for blood, the ones we have met anyways. It seems the fmc being around brings out the truth about the ones they placed their lives in. It makes me wonder if the headmaster/queen is behind the war. Behind the notes, the bloody locker messages. I’m curious to find out how her parents murder connects to this all. Finally a cliffhanger I can get behind!

Shifter meets the Hunger Games - this is basically everything in Shifter Academy Year Two.
To me this whole concept was rather confusing and didn't need to be 80% of the story, then rushing the ending to reveal another cliffhanger; which is surprising especially as these two books are shown as the complete series on Goodreads and Amazon. Had I known this, I would have waited for all the books to be released before reading.
And what is wrong with the editing? There are so many mistakes- do you not have anyone to proof read before you publish? It is rather frustrating.
This was a disappointing read. I only hope Year Three makes up for it.

So much inconsistency
SPOILER ALERT:
Please can the authors converse with each other on their ideas when writing. Time and again the grammar is horrible. They need better editors and ARCs that can help catch that stuff. Plus, they constantly flip flop on things. In book one it was Royals who were fearless, now it’s all. In one chapter, Ezra’s mom knows about the prophecy and tells Lena…. Then the next they are like good thing Ella didn’t know you’d be dead.
These are quick reads. So I recommend if you’re just wanting quick reads. But so far both series I’ve read from them are jumpy and inconsistent and horribly edited. So don’t have high expectations like I did.

Series continued
This volume in the series describes numerous trials that were presented to participants in a shifter boot camp. Spoilers follow: there are numerous plot holes throughout. Ella Gray's boot camp for Royal is her method of thinking the pack in order to propel her son to leadership. At least we get to see the girls back together. Clearly Gray knows the prophecy, but later the mates speculate if she does. It's completely unbelievable that they spent a year hidden away in a remote cabin and never completed any bonds? There is a civil war going on, but we never hear anything about it.

Extraordinary
As good as this book is, there was something that overshadowed my enjoyment whilst trying to read it, the poor diction and incorrect tenses used really made the flow of the storyline very interrupted. Whoever proof read this book did an incredibly bad job. Please do something about this before the next one is released!

So ungodly stupid. The quality of these series is in a sharp decline, spiraling towards rock bottom. The writing is stale and childish, and the story makes no sense most of the time. Beyond that, every single character acts like a moron. Things happen just for the sake of adding shock value to the story, scenes between mates are not steamy at all, and the MC is insufferable in her back and forth.

Amazing story line
This second book in the series sees Lena and the guys go through a lot of changes and uncertainty. I love this story and the characters. The only issue I have is the flow and continuity of the story line. There are moments that the story says something that contradicts with something previously in the story.

Leaves you wanting more
OMG! fantastic mixing of fables and fantasy... be prepared for a cliffhanger ending and wanting the next book NOW!!!!! Loving the Alphas and Lena...why choose go for them all girl.

loved it!!
Absolutely amazing and so much drama and suspense. It kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time wondering what’s gonna happen next! And that ending omg! Can’t wait to read the third book!

Very Good Read
I enjoyed this second book so much. It was thrilling to see how the mates & friends pulled together at the killer boot camp. I was also thrilled when the mate bond was sealed with Damon. Finally ... The first shift is done. Can't wait for book 3.

you need to proof read this a few times
There were a lot of incorrect wording and phrases. Especially after the return of the legends. I liked the premise but the execution was lacking.

Poorly written
Sentences were left unfinished. Sentences would contradict what was said two sentences before. Choppy and juvenile. Disappointed in this book.

I liked this one but I'm hoping the next book is better. I really liked this first one.
