John Green's first novel, Looking for Alaska, won the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award presented by the American Library Association. His second novel, An Abundance of Katherines, was a 2007 Michael L. Printz Award Honor Book and a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. His next novel, Paper Towns, is a New York Times bestseller and won the Edgar Allen Poe Award for Best YA Mystery. In January 2012, his most recent novel, The Fault in Our Stars, was met with wide critical acclaim, unprecedented in Green's career. The praise included rave reviews in Time Magazine and The New York Times, on NPR, and from award-winning author Markus Zusak. The book also topped the New York Times Children's Paperback Bestseller list for several weeks. Green has also coauthored a book with David Levithan called Will Grayson, Will Grayson, published in 2010. I've read all John Green's books and I loved them all! However of course there were some I liked most, like Paper Towns (this one really was my favorite and honestly do not watch the movie... I was very disappointed with it) and Looking for Alaska! Go one and get lost in John Green's books! Believe me you won't regret it!

I like John Green's earlier books as compared to his most recent one. All these books are really good and I love the covers as well. My favorite from this collection is Paper Towns. I have not watched the movie and don't intend to but the book is really good. A good collection worth 4 stars overall.

I read these four books this past week and my overall impression is that John Green is writer in a field all of his own. He has a nearly existential style that aims at young Americans who are interested in deeper questions. He seasons his works with little known facts and famous quotes and excerpts from poems. All this to say, I learned a lot from him and I am quite certain he has many friends, not just fans.

I have to admit, patience is required to allow this author to get to his desired lesson, but I do feel it is worth it. His insight into life and death and love is all his own, but helps. It is hard to go through the suffering of mental illness or terminal illness alone. John Green is like a friend who doesn't mind going through these life experiences with you, to make you laugh and to help you see that it matters.

I've only read The Fault In Our Stars. Enjoyed the book very much. Beautiful love story about two teens developing a bond while dealing with cancer. Highly recommend reading this book.

This book was so good I stayed up till 3 AM reading it on a school night (5th grade) I read it all that night. There just is not a good place to stop it leaves you with suspense after every chapter

This set includes; The Fault in Our Stars; Looking for Alaska; Paper Towns; An Abundance of Katherines; and Will Grayson, Will Grayson (co-written with David Levithan. The Fault in Our Stars was an amazing book by John Green. I absolutely loved this book. It was emotional, funny, witty and an amazing book. I fell in love with the characters and hurt with them, as well as smiled with them. This book brought so many emotions out of me.I cried at times and smiled at times, but I came out of reading this a different person. I can not wait to read more by John. Everyone needs to read this especially if you know someone or have lost someone to cancer. Amazing job by an amazing writer. Looking for Alaska was a great read by John Green. Miles is tired of his safe life at home. Everything has been one big non-event as well as an obsession with famous last words. He goes to Culver Creek Boarding School and is life gets the complete opposite of safe. Alaska Young lives down the hall. She’s gorgeous, funny, self-destructive, and fascinating.She pulls Miles into her world, steals his heart, and then nothing is the same again. Paper Towns by John Green was a great book. It not only kept you enthralled but it kept you guessing the entire book. Margo and Quentin are two people that you sometimes think would make a great couple. I loved reading about Quentin's quest to find Margo. An Abundance of Katherines was a great read by John Green. Colin Singleton has a type and it happens to be girls named Katherine. He always gets dumped by them, and there have been 19 of them to be exact. He is an anagram loving child prodigy who is on a road trip with ten thousand dollars in his pocket. He is on a mission to prove The Theorum of Underlying Katherine Predictability. He hopes that he can use this to predict the future of relationships and finally win the girl. Will Grayson, Will Grayson was a great read by John Green and David Levithan. Will Grayson and Will Grayson meet on a cold night. They are strangers that see their lives colliding and intertwining. They may have the same name, but they are vastly different. I loved reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

All of John Green's books will forever have a special place in my heart and I do not think I could ever really pick a favorite. I love his writing style as it makes the characters and the situations they are living in feel so very real. His characters are perfectly imperfect and I feel like I can relate to them all. If John Green writes a book I am guaranteed to read it.

I persevered to page 62 but there are too many good books to read to waste time on one you aren’t enjoying. I read the Fault in our stars and can’t remember it being particularly good or bad so I thought this would be ok.

The footnotes are annoying and pretentious. The premise is silly. The humour is..well I didn’t find it yet.

I’m putting it down.

All of these stories were excellent. My favorite was probably Looking for Alaska. My least favorite was probably An Abundance of Katherines. Will Grayson, Will Grayson was difficult to read but after a while I got used to the style of writing.

Teenagers had feelings too! Intense ones, but lack of experience and not being supported or understood by their parents connects those books. Every character in this book is amazing in their own unique way.
Probably those books are more for teenagers, but me, an adult enjoyed them none the less.

Geniusly knitted plot hilariously humorous I bet it's not an usual comedy stuff you laugh hard, you weep hard but you go with those prideness which can be felt when the book gets over the characters makes you feel as if your one among them I have read them all but my personal favourites are looking for Alaska and paper towns I have read fault in our staurs but still I can relate myself with the characters in looking for Alaska and paper towns I love hazel don't get me wrong and of course Colin give a read you will be falling in love more than any other authors with green and I read all of the books within couple of days under 40hours due to the fact that I can't take my eyes off the books even I forgot my dinner and lunch I skipped the both lol I seems to be hilarious but he makes you so the start will be 2 slow for beginners but later on you won't put the books down

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green was one of my favorite books ever! It shows the lives of two teenagers and their struggles. They meet in a support group because they both have/had cancer. The support group doesn't offer much to them but they bond with each other and help each other. The book explains their struggles and how they overcome the challenges and handle these rough situations. Through the whole book you discover the friendship, romance, and adventures these two teenagers have with each other and how they always are there for each other. I recommend these book for someone who likes romance but doesn't mind to cry a little. I also recommend it for middle school and up ages.

I only read "The Fault in Our Stars" but couldn't find it listed separately. It was a very interesting book. It is about teenagers who have various types of cancer. They meet through a support group. The support group doesn't offer much to them but they bond with each other. They are going through some terrible things but they are teenagers and it is interesting how they look at their lives and handle the situations. I don't want to give too much away, but it is a book that I would recommend.

I love John Green. I struggled with The Fault in Our Stars. It took me the majority of the reading time to get through it. I needed to walk away and come back quite often because it was too much for me, which is a good thing I think. If an author can make you feel that intensely about characters it must be well written. I loved loved loved Looking for Alaska. I will definitely be reading it again. probably often. An Abundance of Katherines I think I judged unfairly because I loved Alaska so much. Paper Towns, while not as good as Alaska in my opinion, was still another I would reread.
