“The sensible thing to do would be to depart. Immediately. Therefore, we stayed. Actually, I don’t think wild horses could’ve dragged us out of that room. We’re historians. When it comes to sensible thinking, someone else has to do the heavy lifting.”

I have legitimately no idea what I stumbled into, but regardless, it was a delightful romp. I picked up Roman Holiday because it was free on Audible, I was going to Rome, and I like time travel as a reading concept. But honestly, I think it gets somewhat confusing at times without much knowledge of the series from which this novella comes from. It has, however, very tongue-in-cheek humour and a fast pace, which made it enjoyable and interested me enough that I am putting the series down for future reading.
