This book is amazing for any age! It talks a lot about mental health, fear, and how to handle the changes that life will throw at you. This book is give a real story that everyone can relate to in some form or another.

Sometimes when I read books by Christian authors, I find myself questioning the sincerity behind the author’s words. Do they really mean what they say, or are they just desperately trying to convince themself of the Truth along with their readers? I have no doubt of Lauren’s faith while reading Unshakeable though. Lauren takes you through her unexpected college journey to show readers how giving up control leads to freedom. I not only enjoyed Lauren’s incredibly relatable stories, but I appreciated her practical tips on how to pursue Jesus with everything in you. I can easily say that by reading Unshakable, I see God more clearly in my life and am further inspired to be a light of His love. I am thankful Lauren has the guts to share tough stories as the world will be a better place because of it.

This book truly was like sitting down over a cup of coffee (and tea or hot water with lemon) with Lauren and just hearing her share her story and her heart. She brings you alongside some of her deepest struggles and fears to date, while brightly shining the light of Christ with each thought & step she takes. This felt like a Love Does (by Bob Goff) but specifically for young women. I loved Lauren’s voice and getting a peek into the ways the Lord speaks to her. A fast read with convicting reminders and a fresh revelation of how God loves and pursues us. Grab this for you and the college gal in your life!

There aren’t enough books written out there for young women in college, and it’s one of the most crucial times in anyone’s lives. Lauren does a wonderful job of being real & vulnerable and sharing truths that ring true in the highs and lows. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Lauren takes you along throughout her college years, sharing tips and practical ways that you can become stronger and not let fear control your life! I loved the spiritual standpoint that she takes and would HIGHLY recommend.
