Skye Moon is an avid reader, writer, and accomplished independent author. Having published her first creative work at a very young age, she always felt destined to land in the literary industry.
Hailing from the seven cities area of Virginia, Skye has an English and Hospitality degree beneath her belt. Some of her favorite authors include Christina C. Jones, Johanna Lindsey, Desiree Granger, Kresley Cole, and many more. Her downtime is often spent consuming paranormal, true crime, and fantasy shows, complete with her favorite snacks.
When picking up one of her books, know that you'll always get characters who are unapologetically black, relatable, well-developed, and feel like family. She'll always transport you to cities rich in African American culture that you won't want to leave.
“Nobody But You” was an enjoyable read. There was so much drama, and everybody had secrets. I really enjoyed the alternating point of views. Although we are following six characters, the chapters are short, and everything is very easy to follow along with. I really liked that this book took place in Aruba. That added a super fun element. The characters in this book…don't get me started. Tiana was something else and I really questioned some of her motives. Hadleigh and Kash were my favorites! I can’t wait to see where this goes from here.
I don’t know where to point my anger first! The pettiness, selfishness of so many in this group was infuriating. I do feel sorry for Ivory because she was legitimately the one victim in all of this. Woosa! Let me take a deep breath before I head in to book two.
Now why the hell did Bella Jay and Skye Moon play with my emotions like that. This novella was fire but I wasn’t prepared for the cliffhanger they left me with. I absolutely love the friendships in this book. One thing I have been enjoying the most about Skye Moon's catalog is the friendships, the love stories are great but the friendships are even better, and the friendships in this novella are my favorite thus far. I loved how Ivory and Hadleigh friendship was broken and they had to put in work to get it back but then fell right back into their friendship like nothing ever happened. Hadleigh and Ivory were made to be friends and were exactly what each other needed.
I cant wait to see how Hadleigh and Justin's relationship will play out because I can see now bro not giving up. Tiana worked my nerves and I can just see the drama that will unfold with her. Im really questioning lil sis intentions right now. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but did we have to play with Eric and Ivory like that, I mean come on Bella Jay and Skye Moon. These ladies left me in my feelings and at 2:30 am I had to start book 2 because I needed answers
Man this was so good. I was all in from page 1. I had a feeling that E was hiding something since he was in a rush to tie the knot. I feel sorry for Ivory. I now know she cheated in the past but it seems like t was just in the college dating phase so not as serious as this. I have a feeling that E didn’t actually cheat though like maybe he stopped it before it happened. I can’t figure out T. Why is she so envious and hateful? I can’t see Kash or any man dealing with that. I admire Kash. I’m glad he was a friend to Haddie when she had no one. Justin has his work cut out for him. They way and reason he cheated before gives no assurance that he won’t do it again. It’s like the more perfect their relationship seems the more he’s likely to cheat. How can you trust that! Good read and cannot wait for part 2!
Whew honey. The emotional rollercoaster I swear. Let me start out by saying that Tiana needs her a** beat. I get the whole looking out but this hoe is just spiteful and jealous. She got a whole lot of growing up to do. Aside from that I love the characters and feel as if we have all been in one of their shoes at some point in life. The storyline is great this far and it keeps the reader engaged and eager to see what happens next. Excellent job ladies.
Drama Galore! Secrets, lies, jealousy all that! As soon as one situationship is on the mend, another one is falling apart. Hope JuJu can come through for Haddie, and make things right. E! What the? You betta come correct brother! Ivory is not playing wit you, for real for real. Going right into book 2. Good job!
There is a lot going on between these bunch of friends. Their in Aruba for a wedding for their two eloping friends who want an intimate wedding with friends, no fanfare, and expensive price tag, and overbearing mother planner. The atmosphere is thick with unsaid apologies, secrets, confessions, unresolved feelings, reconciliation, and forgiveness. But they are tip toeing around it all or in denial. Karma is a trip tho!
This book was full of drama from beginning to end. Everyone had secrets. Ivory seemed to be in a better mood once her relationship with Hadley started being repaired. But that darn Tiana, with her envious behind really got on my nerves. I really think that her ruining her sister’s wedding was more about her than her sister. Really looking forward to reading book two.
This book had so many rollercoaster moments. Apart from the main characters - Eric and Ivory, their friends each have their own mini stories running along with the main character's. It's well written and captivating from the beginning to the Cliffhanger. I'm off to read Book 2
Loving this story. 6 POVs is not easy to pull off but the authors are doing a great job.
So far the only person I don’t like is Tiana. She is a brat. I knew based on how eric was talking something suspect happened but I honestly thought it was years ago not recently.
This ended on a cliffy and I can’t wait to jump into book 2
What's done in the dark will certainly come to light. I don't actually blame Eric. Why tell? And Ivy psyched herself out, she was already looking for a way out, and found it....
Listen Tiana made me want to shake her I need her to head to the nearest therapist Asap ! I love how hard Kash goes for Hadleigh and Ivory to repair their friendship, I can't wait to read part two cuz Eric gotta fix this !!!!
Y’all did yalll thang!!! I was hooked from the first chapter. Definitely a page turner. I loved Had and Iv. T is still under investigation. Eric better fixed this ASAP !!!!
Short but effective. We get to see the drama from everybody's point of view. A tight group of friends, secrets and drama... a well-executed formula. Can't wait to see what happens with each storyline.
I was hooked from the first page. I hope everything works out for all of them. Tia got on my nerves but I hope things work out for her too. Can’t wait to read part 2.
OMG! First off, ladies y'all did an excellent collaboration. Great book and can you please bless Tiana with just a little more sense in the next book? That ending broke my heart, but I'm waiting for the next book.
