Who wants me dead?
The more I find out, the scarier things get.
Sander says he’s going to protect me, but what if he can’t?

I'm Scarlett Haven. I write YA and NA books and I write a lot. My books are a fun mixture of romance, mystery, and now some paranormal too!

Besides writing, I also love to read anything I can get my hands on and I'm always drawn to the villain of the story. I am 29 years old and am married to the love of my life.

Never Say Never left off on a pretty big cliffhanger. Sander and Phoenix finally start dating for real right before homecoming and it seems like they’ll finally be happy together. And then in the middle of homecoming, someone drives a truck into the school and it explodes.

Phoenix has to leave her brother and all their friends behind to go on the run. Hunter and Jaxon go with Phoenix and Sander to help protect her but she still has a hard time being away from everyone else. She can’t go back to the school now that her location was leaked.

They don’t know when she can go back to East Raven because the people behind the attacks will have to be caught first. There’s a price on Phoenix’s head so they have to keep moving and staying under the radar. They can’t trust the CIA or the Secret Service because there’s a leak so they’re on their own.

They finally make their way to Florida and stay there for a little while, training and trying to pretend they’re just on vacation. Everyone can still feel the pressure of being hunted though. There is one major surprise somewhere in the middle, I was completely shocked by it.

Sander and Phoenix are finally together even though they are on the run. Her safety always has to come first but they’re actually able to do things together as a couple and go on dates like normal teenagers. There are some seriously swoony scenes. Sander can be surprisingly romantic behind all the sarcasm.

I really liked getting to see more of Hunter and Jaxon. We get to know them better and see another side of Hunter especially. It sets up very nicely for the West Raven Academy series which focuses on Hunter. I also like how we get to see characters from the original Spy Chronicles and get updates on their lives.

I will say that the ending felt just a little unnaturally tidied up. The whole series was this whole long series of incidents and attacks and then it gets neatly resolved in like one page. It did make sense but it just felt kind of rushed in comparison to how much trouble was caused. For that reason, I would rate this book 4.5 stars.

Overall, I thought For Ever was a really solid conclusion to the series and I am really excited for Hunter’s story in West Raven Academy. I hope we’ll get to see even more of Jaxon and also get some bonus peeks into the rest of the team’s happy endings. I love the whole world of Spy School and can’t wait for it to continue.

Overall:

Exactly what you expect from a Scarlett Haven book. Easy and fast to read, and a cute storyline.

I like reading these books despite the numerous typos and repetitive writing, because it's like retreating to a safe place where everything is going to work out ok in the end.

What could be improved:

I wish Haven would start including more diversity in her writing, such as LGBT/BAME characters (the only non white characters in any of her books that I've read has been in Gracie, which was still very white-washed).

What I liked:

I really like the character of Phoenix, it's easy to become invested in the characters, and the relationships are really cute. The overall storyline is also really cool and creative as a concept.

What a great conclusion to this series, I am so happy with it. I really get invested in these characters that Ms. Haven writes, and I feel like each set is so different. In East Raven Academy we have Phoenix and Sander, who are trying to stay alive. Of course Hunter and Jaxon are right along with them. Things heat up a little in this one, so it is not as clean as the previous ones, but it comes with a natural progression and well done. Will every thing work out for the two and will they find their happily ever after. Find out, you wont be disappointed.

Wtf

This is a lot better for the mistakes. The cover models are driving me mad. The author depicts the characters so differently than those in the cover. As I wrap up reading the story it hits me on how misleading it is. This book is a lot better with the mistakes thankfully. However if I have to review the mistakes and cover model differences than we have an issue.
The story is really great and it's a shame that all of this overshadows the wonderful story.

Every good book comes to an ending

Phoenix is on the run again. East Raven closes temporarily. Phoenix and her bodyguard/ boyfriend are staying ahead of the terrorists. A suprise ending that let's you know ,who is the head of kidnapping and terrorism. Does Phoenix get her happy ending ? Well, you will have to read the book to find out.

Like always I'm so sad to see one of the series by this author go away... this book was so perfect! This book follows Phoenix as she is on the run with Sander, Jax and Hunter and it was a great ride to get to their HEA! I totally recommend this one!

Good book!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, It was disconcerting however that the names of the step-parents changed in each book.. If you’re the author shouldn’t you be able to keep your characters straight??? Other then that I enjoyed it

It's over

It wrapped up nicely. I'm glad to find out who it was and that Phoenix is happy. There was a lot of movement in this book but I'm glad everything was solved. It's a nice HEA.

Great Read

I thoroughly enjoyed East Raven and will miss all the great characters. I recommend reading Spy Chronicles first as you will have a deeper understanding for East Raven.

MUST READ!!!!

All I can say is that I love these books and S&P as a couple. I really can’t wait until H gets a girlfriend because I’m sure all of his team can’t wait for payback lol.
