He spent 10,000 hours wondering why his BFF ghosted him for the past year when it was COMPLETELY unnecessary and she spent 10,000 hours hiding from him when it was COMPLETELY unnecessary!!
I love me a good friends to lovers romance and this was no different! Juelz has been away in the Air Force for the past 8 years and for 7 of those years he and Wander were thick as thieves. For some reason year 7 to year 8 she ghosted him and he can’t wrap his mind around why! She thought she was hiding when he knew the entire time and made peace with her actions. 😒 *face palm*
Chyyyy why did Wander and Juelz work my nerves in these 38 pages 😩😩. They were fighting against what was inevitable and she was hiding a “secret” that honestly didn’t need to be hidden!
I’m glad Juelz came home with a plan and got her alllll the way together! This was a short yet very Grey story and I really enjoyed it!

Short and quick. Juelz came back to town and he came back back hard...no pun intended?? He came to get his girl. Got all his plans laid out and decided enough is enough. Wander didn't put up a fight. Juelz was her man.

This friends to lovers story was short and sweet.

So, instead of communicating her situation Wander selfishly cut off all communication with him for 10000 hours. Wander was ashamed, but also selfish for not allowing him the option to choose how to support her. Julez showed up and put all her trepidation to rest. Chile you can tell Wander was having full conversations with herself for NO reason, because this man loved ALL of her.

This is the perfect break read…one to read between two full length novels or after a heavy subject. I'm looking forward to reading more from @greyhuffington.

My first read by this author and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem. Great friends to lovers story that grabbed me right from the beginning. I was left with a couple of unanswered questions, but this book just warmed my heart. I will definitely be checking for more by Ms Huffington.

Beautiful Story
This was a beautiful story, short but oh so sweet. I can definitely understand Wander’s fears and hesitation for Juelz to return and find out she has a child. On the other hand, how dare she not tell this man… I loved how he came home fully prepared to go after what he wanted and already have their life planned out. It was simply a beautiful friends to lovers story

Short , sweet and straight to the point. He was in love with his friend and he came back to get her. I side eye this story tho, for two reasons
1. Why y’all wasting other folk time and you know you love each other. Come on man
2. Not you ghosting because you had a baby. Girl you better be proud of your son and if he can’t get with it, he can get lost
Overall, wish it was so much more to this story and i enjoyed it

Loved everything about this story. The character development was spot on. Grey did a phenomenal job showing us how the characters were. Their thoughts were revealed through their actions and I loved that. Juelz was everything I imagine a black man to be.

Short, sweet and to the point! It’s amazing when your best friend becomes the love of your life. Wander and Harlem’s life was made whole when Juelz came back years later and swept her off her feet. Great romance story.

Although I appreciate a good friend to lovers, I still don't get why Wander didn't just tell Juelz. If you did to deed might well spill the beans.. Juelz wasn't going anywhere, so she supposedly wasted 10,000 hours of their time apart.

This author writes some of the most amazing love stories and this one was no different. Wander goofy self was about to let Juelz sit in the dark while she hid herself away. Juelz being the man he is showed up on her butt and showed her baby I accept every part and piece of you.
