Nah...
This was no love story. I have no idea what brent liked about Sophia much less what he loved. She was utterly insufferable for the majority of the story. It's wild that authors make the heroine so unlikable but want us to root for a happy ending. Most of your readers are women, why make this woman so miserable & bitter? It just not fun to read about nor is it relatable to most. This story was about how much brent could endure just to get a glimpse of Sophia being tolerable. She wasn't funny, fun, warm, loving or any attributes that would make her even likable. Mid way through I was actively rooting against her. We supposed to be able to fall in love with BOTH leads not just the man. Give these women so nuance & layers please. Her horrible disposition canceled out any goodwill she could incur by being a passionate teacher.

Brent didn’t want to settle, he wanted something “extraordinaire « ,besides, he was still young ,only twenty six years old. No rush ! Then, he met the stunning teacher at one of the most troubled high school & couldn’t stay away, no matter how much she pushed him away… until she hurting him so bad and he had to find a way to move on. Not easy… turned out to be impossible. Find out how Brent finally got the girl.
Sophia is one beautiful woman inside and out, tough as nails with a heart of gold. I loved what she did for those kids. We need people like her in this horrible world.
Jordan Hathaway is going to be one stubborn tough kid with parents like Brent and Sophia.
Love the relationship between Sophia and her Dad. And Brent’s family are awesome.

Not too enamoured of this pair; mainly Sophia. Dedication & altruism are great characteristics. But Sophia's holier than thou martyrdom was a little over the top. Her reasons for lashing out at Brent were foolish..unrealistic and distasteful to a fault. And I totally disliked her cavalier offer of a one night stand with Brent from the beginning who was a virtual stranger. Like who is crazy enough to do that today?!?😕 Like ugh!
Brent's' anger though justified was a bit much also. And his turnaround was surprising after so much vitriol. But I guess a NDE can invoke a change in perspective for anyone huh? So yes this tale is okay. Now onto the next...

Nice Read!
I really enjoyed reading this book! I still can't figure out why Sophia felt the way she did about being in relationships and not having kids! Brent was exactly what she needed! I do believe that everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Loved this story!
I truly enjoyed Sophie and Brent"s story. I loved her strength and honesty, her ability to face challenges, and her heart to forgive. I loved those same traits in Bent, as well as his persistence. Their families were also loving, supportive, and understanding. Beautiful story!

Big heart, Strong love
Brent and Sophia met and the chemistry was off the charts!!! Sophia is a strong independent woman determined to get her way. Well liked from her student. In comes Brent, and he gets mesmerized by her beauty. What they didn’t count on was falling in love with one another. True Love prevails!!!

Drive and Motivation!
Sophia’s drive to see her students succeed was admirable, a trait that all good teachers should have! Brent’s love for motivational speaking coupled with her drive made for matrimony once they overcame the issues.

I enjoyed both of the characters they were alive hot and spicy, they were two Alpha's that knew what they wanted and went for it.

I enjoyed both characters they were interesting and likable. Brent and Sophia both had compassion for others and liked to give back. I liked their interaction throughout the story. The chemistry was instant between these two and I loved their story and relationship progression throughout the book

Amazing
This book was so good! Sophia got on my LAST nerves. I didn't know how Brent dealt with her, but it seem like he was the only one who could have tame her. So, I guess that's a good thing. They went into their relationship with no strings attached, and ended up in love. This book is everything, and I expect nothing but the best from Miss Katie Dowe!
