Many years ago, that filthy book imprinted itself in my erotic subconscious. Now it’s reared its head and is about to drag me along for the dirtiest ride of my life. Out of sight, out of mind. Or so I thought. But it turns out an old, dog-eared book with contents so filthy and so depraved that I’d been forced to hide it after reading, has sunk deeper into my erotic subconscious than I’d ever imagined.Luckily, though, Jacob is up for exploring the new side of me that has risen to the surface after all these years. In a whirlwind of wanton adventures that pushes us to the limits of our sexuality, we begin to rediscover what it once was that had us screaming with pleasure and how to accept that nothing will ever be the same between us again.*This book was previously published with different cover art. It also contains multiple BDSM scenes.
I grabbed this one without much research, thought it was a good quick read. I don’t have triggers so i was good to go. Anyone that gave this a low rating without finishing prob shouldn’t be reading bdsm books, just my opinion. The whole point of a bdsm relationship is knowing your partner, their needs and limits. Just because you wouldn’t be okay with something doesn’t mean someone else wouldn’t find it great. The triggering moments were the characters exploring and defining their new dynamic. Again, just my opinion but i would totally recommend.

Basically a book about a married couple getting into kinky sex to enliven their sex life after 10 years of marriage and two young kids. The fantasies that are brought to life are inspired by the eponymous Filthy Book from the title that she "borrowed on a very long term loan" from a library.
The story is decently laid out and it is good that the couple are not super fit and beautiful, but quite ordinary. The plot device allows you to led from one fantasy to the next in a perfectly reasonable way.
I chose this book for free on the 1000 books offer (not sure of its specific name). I thought it would just be erotica with little to no actual storyline but I have been pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed reading about a married couples’ developing sexual relationship 10 years and two kids into their marriage. Really relatable and really good. Filthy and forbidden and brilliant!
wasn't really for me. I felt the story was lacking fit my liking, and the pace of the book didn't really fit. I couldn't see the time line from wanting fantasies to be true to actually happening that quickly I suppose. maybe that's just me.
DNF Writing is good but sometimes choppy and hard to understand. Don't like the husband bringing in a random guy for the r--e fantasy chapter. Red flags.
