But she doesn't know how to break out of the mold she's lived in for so long, despite her best friend's urgings to do so.If her best friend wasn't one of the Hammond brothers, who's so full of charm and confidence, Elise might think he actually understood.Gray Hammond has visited Whiskey Mountain Lodge in the past, and with his parents off on a cruise for the holidays and his job at the family company wrapped up, he decides to take his son to the lodge for Christmas to visit his two older brothers who now live in Coral Canyon. When he gets introduced to Colton's best friend, Gray can hardly remember who he is or where he came from. What he knows is Elise is gorgeous, and her shy spirit is exactly what his more analytical mind likes. But he can't help the gravitational pull to Elise, and as they get to know each other, he wonders if they could make a relationship—and a family—work. Can Elise find true love with her best friend's brother? Or will Gray's fears and worries about his son keep them on neutral ground?

In spite of the sub-title which appears in the listing for this edition, this novel is also Book #11 in the Christmas in Coral Canyon series. This is one of the better novels in this latter series (if one can overlook the sadly juvenile approach to adult sexuality which is typical of this entire series). That having been said, the characters are kind, gentle folk with a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to self-improvement and to healthy human relationships, making for a pleasant and uplifting reading experience.

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend’s Brother is book 11 in the Christmas in the Coral Canyon series by Liz Isaacson. Does another Hammond brother find love in Coral Canyon?

Another Hammond brother comes to Coral Canyon after leaving his job at the family business, missing and wanting to see his other brothers and the life they has built with the women they love....what Gray doesn’t expect is to find is a woman who pushes all his buttons. Only problem...he isn’t looking to find love...

Elise has watched all her friends find the men dreams are made of but...when Gray and his son come to Coral Canyon her heart wants pitter patters but after other disastrous relationships she is determined to think with her head not her heart...

Can these two over past hurts, disastrous relationships and open their hearts to find a love worth fighting for?

I know that I say this with every successive book in this series but I really do believe that this one is my favorite out of all of them (so far)! Both Elise and Gray have issues that need major work to overcome and Gray really does end up almost sabotaging the whole relationship due to those trust issues. For me, Hunter (Gray's son) was the one that saved that relationship from imploding and stole my heart too in the process! Who wouldn't want a boy like that to call their child!!
**My only issue with the book was the unusual lack of consistency by Ms. Isaacson to follow-up on the introduction of the adorable puppy that Gray had given to Elise on Valentine's day. We get a great description of the puppy and the length he had gone into researching the breed (Labradoodle), the breeder (local), how he had fallen in love with it and was thinking of getting another one for Hunter, all the paraphernalia he had purchased for Elise to train and care for the puppy properly, the name Elise had given the puppy (Hutch), and then POOF! nothing more is said about it and there is no mention of it even when Elise is moving to Denver to be near Gray and Hunter, or running back to Coral Canyon after the big Gray sabotage!! NOTHING! Since I am a HUGE dog lover and take pet ownership very seriously this just did not sit well with me and I am disappointed in the author not treating this subject with the appropriate respect it deserves. There is a mention of a dog named Sparky later in the book but it is never clear whether that is the same dog since it is mentioned only in reference to when Gray and Hunter are out on the farm and Elise is not present at the time. Did Gray follow through and get Hunter his own dog or what? Where did that dog come from and who did it really belong to?**
Other than that this was a fabulous book and is still so very much worth reading!!

Gray was a buttoned up serious corporate attorney in the family business. Now he is just floundering and not really sure what to do with the rest of his life. He is very overprotective of his son when it comes to relationships because of past relationships. He hasn't really dated in several years. Elise is leary of getting into a relationship because the last long-term one she had ended with him breaking up with her over a text, not knowing that she was at the rodeo to surprise him. She had a few relationships but each one made her doubt herself more with each breakup. She is attracted to Gray and can't believe that he is interested in her. They have a shaky start because of Gray not having good reception on his phone. It is months before they try to start again. They try to keep things secret because he doesn't want to include his son yet until he knows things will work out. The biggest problem is they live 500 miles apart. Can they make the long distance thing work? Will Gray try to sabotage the relationship when things start to get too serious. How will Hunter feel when Gray has a huge misunderstanding of texts between Hunter and Elise and then breaks up with Elise and tells her not to talk to Hunter anymore? Can they work things out or will Elise just leave and go back home?

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend's Brother, Christmas At Whiskey Mountain Lodge, A Hammond Brothers Novel, Book 3. A story full of all the makings for a great love at first sight and happily ever afters. Wes and Bree had their ups and downs but, when they got back together it was for good. Bree had made arrangements for them to go to Hawaii as that was the last state for Wes to visit. When they arrived he told Bree he wanted to get married that night in Hawaii on the beach. They sent video link for their family and friends to watch. A couple months later they decided to have a wedding celebration dinner for their family and friends. They also shared the news of a baby coming later that year. Eden had decided to get married at the lodge at the Christmas tree lighting. After Gray almost lost Elise, Hunter told him he made a mistake and to fix it. So Gray and Elise decided to be the second couple to get married after the tree lighting. Elise and Hunter had became so close and he told her he wanted her to be his mother. She was so happy that not only would she be forever in love with Gray but, she would have a son to help mold into a man. These Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge just keep getting bigger each year. There is never a stranger, just a new friend. The kind of place everyone would like to be at Christmas.

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend’s Brother: A Hammond Brother’s Novel: Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge Book 3 is by Liz Isaacson. This series is certainly worth reading. It is simply good fun and lots of laughs and tears. The Lodge is closed every Christmas so the family can gather and they have pretty much taken over the entire lodge as they have grown. They include all the help and any guests who happen to be there as family. They have taken the entire Hammond family in because of Colton. Now, Gray is the center of attention.
Gray was the lawyer of the business so he was the last of the Hammond brothers to leave the company. Now he had to decide what to do with his life and with his son Hunter. Whatever he did, Hunter would come first. Right now, they were taking care of the farm for his parents. Hunter was liking it and Gray liked to deal with the animals too. First, he would take a trip to see his brother in Coral Canyon for a little vacation. Little did he know that would change his life.
He could see Elise again and talk to her even more. He had met her already and was interested in her but he didn’t want to get involved due to Hunter. He didn’t want Hunter hurt. Could he keep his distance from Elise and be happy though?

Hmmm not sure what to make of this book. As the third story we get more of the issues with the farm and the Hammond brother's parents being too old to take care of it. Because it was a bigger part here all I could think was why didn't they just hire someone to work it. They are billionaires after all.

Then we have Elise who I liked but didn't totally understand. Her fear of staying at her place alone was a bit much. I thought that maybe this was addressed in another series and that we'd get a reason for it but that never happened. And she's a woman who runs her own landscaping business, but we got very little about that.

Next up was the weirdness of the mostly missing Annie. I almost felt like this was confirmation from the first book that Colton's relationship with Elise and Bree was a bit much. Early on I was trying to figure out the timing of this story because it sounded like Colton hadn't even married.

The son Hunter was great and I thought he was well written as a kid navigating his first crush. I will read the last two books because they guys stories sound a bit more interesting

I thought this book started out a little slow for me, but picked up pretty quickly.

I liked Elise. I think she has been my favorite female character of this series. She didn't spend a lot of time in her head thinking she wasn't good enough for Gray. Gray started out being stiff, kind of inflexible. I liked the way his character started to loosen up over time. I also liked that his interactions with Elise and Hunter were the catalysts that helped him along that path.

I was glad that Elise and Hunter connected so well, and there was none of that step parent/step child drama. There was not much angst in this book, and I truly appreciated that. I did like that there was a discussion about parenting and the uncertainty sometimes involved in decision making. It made Gray more vulnerable and Elise less stressed.

I also appreciated the glimpse into Cy's story. I am looking forward to reading his book.

A Sweet romance full of love, support, friendship, family, and faith. Gray, Elise, and Hunter do get their HEA.

There is a lot going on in this book since we not only follow Gray and Elise, we touch back on the previous two Hammond couples as well as setting the stage for the next book. And, this is a family with very busy lives. I found the story to be a slow burn and very sweet. It’s probably one of my favorites in Coral Canyon. Of course, neither of them is perfect and both Elise and Gray jump to some incorrect conclusions on the path to their happy ever after. But, the course of true love never did run smooth. One of the things I really appreciated in this story is the way it shows Gray and Hunter navigating how to bring a potential new “mom” into their existing dynamic. I’m really looking forward to reading more about the Hammonds and Coral Canyon.

going back home

Wow this series has been awesome. I have read all the books Liz has written about the Hammond brothers then all the other rancher’s around how they all joined in being a loving and caring community and family.
Well I was wrong, this is the parents and grandparents of the books I already read. It has been exciting how the adults in the previous series are now just being born, you are getting to watch them grow up also!
There is one thing you will learn through all the books I’d God is #1, family #2, and with both of them together is their belief, faith and love they have for each other. No matter if you are family by blood or not, you will become part of these loving family’s
Also as you read in this book they can be stubborn, as Gray is, but it is out of love.

"Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend's Brother", by Liz Isaacson, is a Great, Engrossing, Western, Christian Romance! This is essentially Elise & Gray's long distance 💖 Story.

Gray is Very Protective of his 12 yr. old son, Hunter. He stopped dating many years ago, after a couple women, used his son's affection, to get some of his 💰! He also feels responsible for his aging parents, & their Ranch. So Gray is cautious of his instant attraction to Elise; especially because they live hours away from each other.

Despite the obstacles in their way, God draws Gray & Elise into a 💗 Relationship. But how do they get to their Forever 💞 ? I Highly Recommend You Read this Entertaining Story, to See How God brings Gray, Hunter, & Elise together into a Family!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ❤️📖

I love Liz Isaacson with the Hammond Brothers in the Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge series and Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend’s Brother is no exception!
Here we meet brother Gray and his son Hunter and Elise. After their first encounter love for them doesn’t go so well. Their first day is a disaster and the distance between them causes some interesting problems as well. Add a 12-year-old son and you have a great story! Oh and did I mention that Gray is the brother of Elise’s best friend Colton?
This is a story that keeps you wondering if they will ever get their acts together and just be! I mean a 12-year-old can see better than these two adults! A story well worth reading and I can’t wait for the next brother’s story!!!

I love Liz Isaacson's Hammond Brothers Novels. This one is about Gray the oldest and Elise. Elise is a gardener at the Lodge and is best friends with Gray's brother Colton. Gray has just retired from being a corporate Attorney and has a 12 year old son, Hunter, who he is very protective of. Elise has watched two of her friends find love and she is tired of being alone.
When the two meet sparks fly, but they can't seem to get together. Besides Elise feels nothing will work out because Gray lives in another state. They text back and forth for months. Gray has been burned in the past by women trying to use him. Is Elise different. Will they be able to make it work?
I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Gray has retired from the family firm but he can't move away because of Hunter's education. He's taken with Elise but she lives and works in Coral Canyon, where his brothers, Colton and Wes, live. Gray arranges a lunch date but everything that can go wrong does.
Gray has lost his trust in women due to his ex-wife and a couple of bad relationships after his divorce. He's very worried about the impact on Hunter of having a girlfriend.
Elise hasn't had a good relationship history and doesn't think she's worth much.
It's great to catch up with the other Hammond brothers.

A great read, looking forward to Cy's story next.

I enjoyed Gray's and Elise's story. Gray has fought to keep women out of his and his son Hunter's life while he takes his single-father responsibility seriously. He worries about Hunter after Hunter's mother left them and doesn't even keep in touch with her son. Elise seems to be Gray's opposite personality-wise; she's shy and petite and he's big, loud, and analytical. Elise and Gray develop feelings for each other, and overcome several struggles along the way. I enjoyed the way Elise's and Hunter's friendship develop, even to the point where Hunter becomes angry at his Dad & tell him what he needs to do before Gray loses Elise forever. A swoonworthy story of love and forgiveness.

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend's Brother

Gray was taken with Elise the first time he saw her. She was smitten when she found him in the kitchen without his shirt. As they dance around each other Gray is concerned about getting serious with some one again since he was burned so badly by his last try and he wants to protect his son at all costs. Elise cares for Gray and his son very much but can't seem to break through the walls Gray has in place. Can they bring it all to the forefront and find everlasting happiness?

What happened to Hutch???!!

Once again, Liz Isaacson has a hit on her hands.
Yes – there is such a thing as ‘love at first sight’. It’s an amazing time when Gray and Elise reestablish their friendship. It just happens that Gray’s brother, Colton, is Elise’s best friend. She works at the lodge in Colorado and he lives in Wyoming. So, will the long-distance relationship work out? Especially with Gray having a pre-teen son. What kind of problems will that bring into the picture?
This is such a good series! The books grab you on the first page and when you get to the last page, you really don’t want it to end.

This is my favorite book in this series and these two are my favorite couple. Gray's son added so much to the story. There are a couple of things that are keeping Gray and Elise apart. Can they overcome these things or will the past repeat itself? There is so much growth in each of these characters together and individually. Absolutely loved the ending and while there was angst even that was so well done. Looking forward to book 4.

I love the Hammond brothers and Whiskey Mountain Lodge! The love story of Gray and Elise gets off to a rocky start and is long-distance. Throw in past hurts and a teenager and it just gets better! I think that it is great that these characters are more mature with past life experiences. Always trusting in God’s guidance to get them through their triumphs and trials. Don’t miss this new addition to the Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge series!

Gray Hammond is the oldest brother of the Hammond brothers. He meets Elsie at his brother house. He just retired from there company. All his brothers are billionaires. He has a son, Hunter, which he is over protective of. His brother Wes is Elsie's best friend. This is a clean well written story and I highly recommend reading it. I was given a ARC of this book and it is the 11th book in the series. Such wonderful characters and story line.

These books are so darn cute!

It's hard to trust again after you have been so thoroughly betrayed. Falling in love can be tough and these brothers fall hard and fast. It's also hard to know who is for real when your net worth has nine figures. Somehow these two figured it out. And they managed to bring a child along with them. Love the faith and commitment they all seem to share.

I really enjoyed this installment. Not only did we get the next two boys’ perspectives, we got to go back and get more of Wes, Bree, and Colton! I loved it! It was great watching their stories unfold further as we delved into Gray and Elise’s. It was a really good single dad romance.

Enjoyed reading this story with Elise who works at Whisky Mountain Lodge and her best friends brother Gray who comes for a visit with his son Hunter. Elise is quiet and shy which draws Gray to her but neither one is looking for a relationship. Gray's son helped bring the couple together and I loved the story plot along with the characters.

So much real feel to this story

This brother has a pre-teen son, responsibilities, and fears about falling in love as well as trusting a woman. Elise doesn’t know if she can really trust a man but when they first meet they have feelings for each other right off that neither know how to handle. I found this book the most relatable so far off the Hammond brother’s.

Will they get something right?!

Their first date was a disaster of epic proportions, could they ever get it right? Gray has so many trust issues and a son he's super protective of... This book was sooooo good! And with each book, I think I love Colton more! Lol. On to Cy's next! Don't skip any of these awesome books, these brother's are the best!

To Love Again

The Hammond men never cease to amaze us. Their faith and upbringing have prepared them well to handle their financial blessings with grace and humbleness. Keep the tissues close as Gray and Elise share their struggles and joys with us through the gifted works of author Liz Isaacson.

Gray and Elise’s story is a fun one to read. Gray is a single dad, runs marathons, is cared of committing to a relationship because it may blow-up in his face and heart his son. Elise works at a resort on a ranch, comes from a broken family, and is scared of being alone and the dark.
