Seeing now that not much has changed in these 50 some years since the massacre at Kent State. In the last section of this book, there is an interview with a mix of people in which they discuss what happened and what lies ahead. They say don’t want to bring children into a world where they can be gunned down for no reason at all. They say they don’t feel safe in their country and desire to live abroad. Many didn’t see themselves as particularly politically minded people before they witnessed the events on May 4th but they discovered the only way to get their point across is to make some noise. Sound familiar???
