What I really hate is how underated the land of stories is, I mean sure it has almost 5 stars, but it doesn't have enough reads. You see this is the kind of book that every one has to read, like harry Potter, and all the other books out there. Because it is literally a book about books! It will make you want to read more books! I can never get baord of this!
I originally read the first three books a long time ago and just sorta forgot about it, then i saw a video of someone talking about how there are six books and knew I had to read them. I absolutely adored finally seeing how the story ends or more so begins for the Bailey’s as their lives honestly just started at the end of the books leaving childhood behind for adulthood and growing up… it was a nice way to go as it sort of felt like I was learning something about myself with them.
Beyond that beautiful writing, wonderful stories, and while some of it felt silly/ridiculous in its’ own ways I enjoyed it for what it is, a children’s book one that’s about how we never stop growing or learning and the adventures don’t have to end.
ITS SO GOOD i read them when i was your get and accidentally started form the end, one of the most surprising things is thst i understood the book completely and didn't need to start from the begging other than the fact that i loved it so muc already. the stores are explained so well in a way that are children's books but also in a way where you're forgetting that you reading a children's book. the author is also amazing in both acti mg and writing and has come out with another series similar to this one, i haven't read it yet but i know for sure that it's going to be amazing considering how good this sreis is. read RN
When I read the Land of Stories series I some times I really loved it and sometimes I tuned out. I don't know if this was because of my age since I was younger or because I really didn't like that certain part. As a result of reading this series I increased my reading level and my love to read. Even though I tuned out in some parts I was really proud of myself for reading my first full series. Reflecting on today I have a more enriched and better vocabulary from reading this book. In addition this book encouraged me to read other series which also enriched my vocabulary and knowledge today.
The Land of Stories is an amazing and fun book. Two twins find a whole new dimension called the Land of Stories. The twins names are Alex and Conner, Alex is a girl and Conner is a boy. Alex and Conner travel through their world and the Land of Stories, defeating the enemies of their worlds. Through the years the twins meet new friends from the classic fairy tales everyone knows like Mother Goose, Jack and the beanstalk, Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beaty, Prince Charming, Merlin, King Arthur, and many, many more.
It was the first fantasy saga I've ever read and the best. Full of adventures, all the characters were near my heart. since the first book, I couldn't stop reading it, and thank to this saga because it has helped me to love reading, and today I am a bookworm.
so in this saga we will follow the adventures of two twins alex and conner, between two worlds, the other world and the world of fairy tales.

Holis ! .
These were such fun creative books. I would have given it 5 stars except the last two books started to fall a little flat for me. I loved them going into all the classic stories but when they started going into Connor’s stories, I lost interest a little bit and it made the whole arc of the story drag. Overall these are a great fun read and I would read them again
I love this series because it's fantasy, and it's about nursery rhymes, but it's not babyish. It's full of action and adventure, which makes it really interesting to read. My favourite book in the series is "Worlds Collide," which is the 6th book in the series. Worlds Collide is full of action, since it's the climax of the series.
I read these books in middle school and they still hold up, and I sometimes go and reread certain parts. I love books that show a different side to fairy tales and I think Chris Colfer did a great job of sticking to the original stories while still making them new and interesting. A lot of great characters to look up, especially for young girls.
I loved these books! They were so fun to read and had a really interesting story line. When you were reading them it felt like you were right there watching it happen. The characters were really amazing. They had so much life and energy about them. The book had lots of plot twists and it they were really interesting.
Honestly I love this series. It’s seriously underrated!Never thought that I would be able to feel as if I could immerse myself in a series as much as I did with this. The plot, the characters, the wording was amazing. This series is also very inclusive of everyone and was able to make me burst out laughing in some sections. I would definitely recommend this series!!!
It's a series that starts good but turns out to be crappy. I'd not recommend the series to anyone. Just the disappointment because the first 2 are somewhat good and I was excited to read on but book after book I was taken out of the story with the lazy plotting, how clever the author thought he was but wasn't and the social commentary on the world. It's a let down.
Brilliant from the wishing spell to lands collide these books are full of adventure. Each book has its own heroes and villains and you get to meet each character.Alex and Conner meet many threats like the Evil Queen(Evly),the Enchantress(Ezmia),the Grande Armee, the Masked Man(Lloyd),the literary army and the witches.

I really love this series. I have one nitpicky problem with it though (I am prone to noticing this). The author, while creating an amazing storyline with awesome characters, uses the verb “said” too often. Otherwise, this is one of the greatest series ever.
This book series is one of my favorite book series and the author is one of my favorite authors and actors. He starred in one of my favorite shows- Glee. This inspired me to get along more with my siblings. Now I get along with my sister and my brother I'm still working on.
I liked how Alex and Conner always worked toghther because teamwork is an essential step to success. Now I try my hardest to work with my group in a respectful manner. Today I make sure everybody in my group shares something before I do.
A fantasy story about all the classic fairy tales. Connor and Alex Bailey go through adventures in the land of stories. This series kept my attention with all the twists and turns, villains and good guys. I would recommend it. I loved it!
When I first saw this series, I was like "there comes the typical childish cliche fairytale series." How very wrong I was. Out of curiousity and boredom in my reading life, I bought the first book from a mass sale and just started reading. What can I say? I. GOT. HOOKED. Like a good type of hooked. Like seriously, who would've expected such mature, attention-grabbing writing from a book like this? No offense, Chris Colfer. But everything was *breathes* so good. I have finished every single book and re-read it like twice. Although it is not like a typical tween-teen young adult fantasy adventure I love, it's still a really good read!
I started reading this series aloud to my kids in May of 2019. ONE YEAR AND EIGHT MONTHS AGO. Otherwise known as WAY TOO LONG. I love the time spent reading aloud with my kids but I would not choose to read this series again. They have fun ideas and I think work best as independent reading.
Through the mysterious powers of a cherished book of stories, twins Alex and Conner leave their world behind and find themselves in a foreign land full of wonder and magic where they come face-to-face with the fairy-tale characters they grew up reading about. For ages 7-11.
This is the first series that got me into reading way back in early middle school. I love all the tie-ins from classic fairy tales and the fun vibe of the entire series. Definitely an underrated childhood classic and I’d love to find the time to reread it now that I am older.
This book series is soooooo amazing I love it so much. It is my favorite book series. I love all of the characters. I loved growing up with Connor and Alex. They are some crazy brave kids but it made me feel more entitled to be more brave like them.
Read this serious as a 10 year old and re read its at 14 and then 16. It’s just so perfect. It’s light but with the perfect balance of suspense. Definitely recommend if you love fairy’s and monsters and magic and all this fantasyyyy
I loved this series. It's best for tweens, but as a mom and adult sometimes a younger story hits the spot. Who doesn't love a good fairy tale? Easy reading, kind of like those cartoons you know you've outgrown but don't care because you'll always like them.
This whole series is amazing ! I love everything to do with fairytales and this is a fantastic modern one. If you like tv shows like “Once upon a time” or Musicals like “into the woods” you’ll love this series!
