Jill comes from a large family with six siblings, including an identical twin. She was raised in the Pacific Northwest and later relocated to Colorado for college and a successful IT career before discovering her talent for writing sweet and sexy page-turners. After Colorado, she decided to move south, living in Texas and now making her home along the Emerald Coast of Florida. You will find that the settings of several of her series are inspired by her time spent living in these areas. She has two sons and off-set the testosterone in her house by adopting three furry little ladies that provide her company while she’s locked in her writing cave. She enjoys heading to the beach, hiking, swimming, wine-tasting, and pickleball with her husband, and of course writing. If you have read any of her books, you may also notice that there is a love of food, especially sweets! She has been blamed for a few added pounds by her assistant, editor, and fans… donuts or pie anyone?
Another excellent visit with the Grayton Family! Well plotted out mystery entwined with some serious sexy heat makes this the perfect summer read to get away from the world for awhile! If you haven't read the entire series, you won't be lost by picking up this book...however, you will be missing out on an fantastic entertainment so you really should read the entire series! I'm also quite intrigued by the potential spice we see heating up in another Grayton family member's life so I am hoping there will be another Grayton book soon!
It has been a Sanders Christmas and New Year season
I think I just might have finally run out of this author's books, well at least the various series I have managed to fit in. May I suggest that you start with Pride, read Montana and get to the Grayton series, when you finish there read the return to Pride. You will be disappointed.
Wow! Sunset Dreams is an amazing book. Jill Sanders captivated my heart and soul from page one and kept me captivated throughout the entire story. This truly was a great addition to the already fabulous Grayton series. At times I was on the edge of my seat. Clara has had a rough past. Clara was wrongfully accessed of murder five years ago. Enter the ever so sexy Reagan. Reagan is hired to find Clara, who is hiding. Together Reagan and Clara set out to solve a murder(no spoilers so I won't say who was murdered). Reagan and Clara's chemistry is undeniable. While they both have struggles to overcome it is clear to see they belong together. They have a connection that is clear to see.
Jill Sanders writes phenomenal stories. I love that her stories are not just straight up romance. She clearly creates magic with her words. Jill Sanders knows how to keep her audience captivated. I loved every aspect of Sunset Dreams. I loved the plot of the story. I was drawn in immediately. Sunset Dreams was romance and mystery with heartswooning moments and even a bit of heartache and intrigue. I cried and laughed and felt my heart flutter. I felt as if I were actually in the story and not reading it but living it. Sunset Dreams was very engaging. I was on the edge of my seat. I love books like that. I could not put this book down, therefore I found myself reading it in one night. Fabulous plot and characters. Grab your copy and fall in love with Jill Sanders and Sunset Dreams as I did.
Reagan Grayton spent most of his childhood hiding from his crazed cult leading biological grandfather. Now a PI, he had a case that left him with more questions than answers..Especially when the woman who had been accused of murder was a beautiful, smart and fierce brunette heiress.
Clara Cruz's sister Gina was murdered and she had no idea what really happened the night their lives changed drastically. She spent the last five years on the run, blending into the background to not cause unwanted attention. She was successful until one day she a handsome stranger walked into her place of employment. The attraction was immediate.
Reagan had been looking for her. She didn't look like a murderer. As time went by, they became to know about each other, he discovered that there was someone that wanted to frame Clara. The bond between them grew stronger than either one of them thought possible.
He finally found what his parents, aunts and uncles had. A love that could withstand anything that was thrown at it.
SUNSET DREAMS is the seventh book in Jill Sanders' GRAYTON series. Wow the author left me wanting more when all was said and done. It was a treat to catch up with the Graytons. The story was fast-paced, intriguing and engrossing. Two thumbs up!
A lovely trip back to the Grayton series, with the next generation in the form of Reagan. He was in the military but after leaving his new job is looking for missing persons. His latest assignment is to find Clara, who disappeared after her sister's murder. She was questioned and never charged, but Clara couldn't stay in the house where it happened. She had kept moving around for the last few years, settling for the last one in Florida. She loved her job in the restaurant and has a great boss who kept an eye on her so she felt safe.
Reagan finds Clara quite easily, but for some reason doesn't feel it is right to hand her straight over to her family, something doesn't feel right, and on top of that his attraction to her is something he has never felt as strongly before!
Great story, keeps you guessing as to who the murderer is. The Grayton family as always step in a few times giving good advice, family love and support.
It was good to see some of the characters from other books in this story. Reagan has been hired to find a woman who had disappeared five years earlier after her sister was murdered. She may have been the killer, but after meeting Clara, he is sure that she did not commit the murder. Immediately, Reagan wants to protect her and clear her name. That means going back home and Clara isn't sure she wants to do that. The day her sister died is a blank spot and she would love to know the truth, but she would have to face a lot of people who believed she could kill her sister. Reagan has to find the killer and keep Clara safe. He would take a bullet for her (and has a couple of times) and would do anything to keep her in his life for good.
Clara is hiding from not just her past but the people in it, Reagen has some mystery in his as well. Together they are trying to solve the mystery behind her sister’s death. Even if it means going back to the scene of the crime to find the true killer. Can Clara trust Reagen enough to let him help or will she run away again? Can their romantic connection overcome the odds and led them to a happy life together?
If you have not read any of Grayton family series before then yes this can be a little confusing at the beginning. But once you get past that it is a very good book to read and I enjoyed the mixing of mystery and romance. Jill Sanders definitely has gift of writing.
Sunset Dreams, is such a great book! I truly enjoyed reading it! It's an engaging, suspenseful, sexy & moving romance. The story pulled me in, & kept me reading, wanting to find out what happens next. Reagan, was hired to find, Clara. When he did, something felt off. Luckily, Reagan, was there, because someone is out to hurt, Clara. Five years ago, she had been falsely accused of murder. Reagan & Clara, work together, to search for the real killer. I loved everything about this Must Read Story!!!
The next generation of Graytons has arrived. This book follows Reagan Grayson, son of Roman and Marissa Grayton. Reagan is a PI hired to find Clara Cruz who disappeared 5 years before in California after her sister was murdered and Clara had no recollection of that days events. The shark and sizzle between these two are off the charts! Excited for the next generation of Graytons to grace our reading devices
Wow loved loved loved it Jill. Reagan and Clara wow love at first sight, what Clara and family went through wow really felt for her and as all the Grayton men he new that in his heart something was wrong with her story. The excitement at the end when everything came together wow who new. I hope this isn’t the end of the Grayton series I hope Bella and the other get a story
Oooh a bit of mystery and suspense! Clara and Reagan feel an instant attraction to each other but both have secrets from each other. A bit of romance mixed in also as these two sleuth to find out the truth of Clara's past. Kept me guessing most of the way, I though I knew who but there was a bit more to it. An enjoyable read and great addition to the Grayton family of stories.
Totally captivated from page one by this suspenseful romance! Love, love, love the Grayton series! Clara and Reagan have an instant attraction and their story is steamy, suspenseful, full of action and intrigue, and of course the wonderful Grayton family. Highly recommend Sunset Dreams and the entire Grayton series!
This is my new favorite Jill Sanders book! I absolutely fell in love with Reagan and Clara. While this is the 6th book of this series it can be read as a stand alone. This books is full of suspense, mystery, plus a sweet and sexy love story. I read this book in 1 sitting because it captured my attention from beginning to end.
I ABSOLUTELY loved this book and being back with the Grayton’s!!! Sunset Dreams was an ABSOLUTE page turner! I. COULD. NOT. STOP. And didn’t want to at all. I was completely and immediately HOOKED. Suspenseful and romantic with characters you love.
This is my absolute favorite series by Jill Sanders and recommend it to everyone.
Although the length of the book led to a faster pace than I would have liked, there were still room for development of the main characters, hot love scenes and a suspenseful storyline. I enjoyed my afternoon reading this novel.
A heartwarming and fun summer read. Emotionally engaging, highly entertaining, action packed journey filled with danger, intrigue, passion and heart pounding twists that will leave you breathless. Was a excellent adventure and loved getting to visit the Graton's all over again. Loved it!
Love, love, love Sunset Dreams. Intrigue, mysterious who dunnit, can he protect her from whatever she is hiding, can she trust him with her secrets. Grab this one...you'll be glad you did.
Sunset Dreams is a great book. The story is well written, characters are great. Reagan is sent to find and protect Clara. Will he be able to protect her and stay alive?
Reagan was hired by Clara’s family to find her . Did she murder her sister ? She was found but Reagan felt something wasn’t right . He’s protective -she had been on the run five years . Passionate love story .
I listened to the audio book and while the story is definitely worth reading, the audio book was spoiled for me by the AI narration which lacks all emotion and the dialogue is jerky and unrealistic. AI may cost less (?) but it ruins a good book.
