“Ever since I first touched you I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I don’t hate you Kylie. I hate that what I’m feeling could mean your death. I hate that every time I look at you, I have to commit you to memory in case I never see you again. I hate how often I feel like I’m saying goodbye to the only person on this planet who makes me want to save it.”
Creatures walk the Earth, hellbent on destroying the planet. The Sphere people await the arrival of their Queen, preparing to rise up and defend the world they were designed to protect.
Adam, one the most skilled and clever Battle Leaders the Spheres have ever seen, gets wrapped up in helping train the woman who appeared in the final visions of his prophetic father. His attraction to her is instant, his desire stifling. But Adam’s seen how love distracts, the way it burns hot and leaves cold bodies in it’s wake.
Kylie, a young woman who can’t seem to find her place in the world, gets sucked into a life of indescribable power, terrifying affinities, and endless passion. As Kylie learns to harness her newfound abilities and make sense of the Sphere people and their purpose, she finds herself falling for the revered Battle Leader. But when forced to choose between her prophesied destiny and the warrior she is irrevocably bound to, how can Kylie forgive herself for inevitable destruction of either path? Or worse, the very real possibility that she will fail them both.
A story of love, duty, desire, and war. The Sphere Trilogy begins here.

I could not put this book down. If you haven't read this, you are missing out and need to make this your next book priority.

Ignite presents a female lead with an independence and strength every women strives for and a male protagonist every women strives to be with. The author does an incredible job creating personable and intriguing characters that you learn to love, hate, and everything in-between. The character building was so complete and marvelous that I couldn’t help but get excited, get involved, and even cry a little as if these people and this story were part of my own.

The author mixes intense, thrilling, and emotionally charged scenes with humor, laughter and playfulness. With the new concept of Ignites, the author brings the readers into an exciting world with a new and original point of view.

Overall, easily one of my new favorites and will read over and over again. You will devour the whole book quickly and ask for more. Can't wait for the sequel.

If you’re anything like me - a lover of love, believer in fate, or sentimental dreamer - then this book is for you. I knew this book was going to be special when I picked it up, but I had no idea just how hard this story would pull at my chordae tendineae (also known as heart strings).

What leads this story to a unique feel is the way that Joy tells it from both the main characters point of views (Kylie and Adam). You are given a front row seat to an all consuming, passion filled, and crazy intense love that one only experiences once in a life time.

So prepare yourself. Not only for a book that’s impossible to put down, but one that will have you emotionally gutted by the end. This is an astonishing beautiful and raw look at what drives most of us which is finding that one person who leaves a mark on your soul and the desire to always keep them close.

I cannot wait to see where Joy takes us, the readers, in the second book!
