Like Susan Shumsky’s previous book, “Divine Revelation”, this one is excellent, and includes a valuable CD containing a guided meditation to help you connect with the Holy Spirit (this being the aspect of God she has chosen),
Actually I found the present book better than “Divine Revelation”, since it seemed shorter and clearer. I got a bit confused with all the information in “Divine Revelation”, but in this one I found it easier to get a clearer overview of the necessary information. (Though my having read the previous book will of course have assisted in my comprehension of this one, since it’s the same field that’s covered.)
Susan’s method of meditation is called “Divine Revelation” and people throughout the world have benefited from her “Breakthrough Workshops”. We learn how to contact the various aspects of God, i.e. Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, Krishna, Buddha, or whoever we choose. We learn how to obtain the signal whereby we can recognize the aspect with which we are in contact, how to ask for advice and receive an answer.
We learn how to recognize if the one we are in contact with is a negative energy from the astral plane, and are provided with important affirmations and prayers for protection, including a pillar of light visualization, a thought-form healing, astral-entity healing affirmation, psychic tie-cut healing affirmation and façade body healing affirmation, for use when necessary. This chapter is extremely useful, in fact essential.
We also learn the 10 tests of spiritual discernment, and how to test the message. Susan gives us examples of loving messages from God and negative, gloomy messages from astral beings, so we can easily hear and sense the difference.
The book also contains a valuable chapter providing real-life examples of sad tales of various known and unknown persons who got into deep trouble when not taking heed of warning signals indicating that the beings with whom they were in contact were not from the light. I found this chapter edifying. But there is no need to worry: if you follow Susan’s precepts, you will easily be able to discern who is from the light and who or what is not, and how instantly to disconnect from the latter.
The final chapters give us examples of those who followed their divine guidance and saved themselves from life-threatening situations, together with inspiring accounts penned by many of the author’s students who have successfully contacted God and transformed their lives.
With the aid of the CD, I myself contacted several aspects of God, received their signals, got answers to my questions and received uplifting messages. My personal signal for contact with the Holy Spirit was a fluttering of my eyes, my signal for Mother Mary was my head rolling back and forth, while my signal for contact with Jesus was a feeling of a hand placed on the top of my head. I had experienced this latter signal previously in meditation, but not known what it meant, if anything.
One of the first questions I asked was how to heal an eczema I had in a certain part of my body. I was expecting some sort of spiritual answer, but instead received a very concrete piece of advice, i.e. that I should on three successive days take a bath in my bathtub after adding an amount of sea salt to the water, and sit in it for about 10 minutes. I had never thought of this, so this was definitely an answer from Spirit. The advice worked!
Unfortunately, I experienced problems with the CD, but a new CD is now being sent to me free of charge. I couldn’t use the wording given by Susan to record my own meditation. It wasn’t long enough for me to get deep into the meditative state.
Also, it was a bit limiting that in the CD only the Holy Spirit was mentioned as one to contact and from whom one could receive a message. However, I disregarded this and stated the particular name of the aspect I wished to contact myself, and this worked fine.
I didn’t always get into a particularly deep meditation, perhaps because I wasn’t so good at the deep breathing which Susan requires in this form of meditation. (But later, after becoming earthed/grounded –which is quite a different story – the depth of my breathing improved considerably, so that helped.)
To sum up, I found this book illuminating, extremely informative, and to provide all necessary warnings, prayers and the like to protect against negative entities; the CD provides a tremendous help in getting into the state necessary in order to connect with the various aspects of God; I didn’t always experience deep love or similar states like the author describes, though sometimes I did see or feel the angels and other divine beings and “saw” or “felt” my Higher Self/Soul, and am sure that I will experience more with practice.
I strongly recommend that you purchase this book with accompanying CD.
