An argument with her mother on Christmas Eve became one of regret, as the life she became acquainted with from birth disintegrated before her very eyes due to a home invasion gone wrong, leaving Monica and an older sibling as survivors. Though ten years had passed, and the unsolved case of her family’s death gone cold, Monica vowed to fight for their loss, pursuing a law career on her quest for justice. With her law degree in hand and attention aimed at reopening her family’s case, Monica encountered a handsome businessman, Omar, who unexpectedly took her on a new journey to love, providing adequate opportunity for escape the thoughts of her past. Stolen kisses, playful moments, and sweet gestures quickly turned from lustful to heartfelt, demonstrating a promising relationship between the pair. Oh My Goodness!!

This was my first book from this author and it was a good story. The plot and drama within this book was good. When I suspected something of one character, I was shocked with some revelations from another one. Mannnn I felt so bad for Monica and I'm glad the story ended pretty well for her. Check this book out y'all. You won't be disappointed!

Wow

Twists and turns all over this book. In the end, Monica was hurt and acted out of emotion. Im glad Omar showed and spoke for her. Now, she can be with her babies and rest peacefully at night with peace in her soul.
