Jaxson lives in a mansion on the mountain and has no plans to change that. But he does have one very big secret. When he meets Rhee, something about her calls to him and he wants to claim her for his own. Unfortunately, two things will mess up his plans. Rhee is only going to be in town for three days. And she wants to avoid wolves at all costs! Other than that, they’re really good for each other! Will they team up to fight the rogue witch that is after them?
This was a good story line with great characters. I loved Rhee’s strong character and how she stands up for what she believes. It made a fun interaction with Jaxson who is not known for his friendliness – but Rhee can easily hold her own against his snarls!

Rhee comes back to her hometown for her father's funeral - hesitantly, as she had left it with her reputation gone, thanks to a jerk wolf shifter and his mate.
In a bar she meets Jaxon, and they hit it off, the attraction immediate. All seems well, but a convenient lie and strange sightings of a dark witch bring them apart and make life dangerous.
A fast-paced, action packed story, entertaining and thrilling. For my personal taste I would reduce the sex scenes a little, the balance seems off to me, but the story itself is really good.

Jaxson was billionaire who lives on a mountain top mansion alone. His family secrets are too damaging to him. However, he meets an equally damaged young woman and wants to claim her. The action in this book is astounding with all the twist and turns. Will the truth come out and will the lovers find their happily ever after? Great read.

Rhee and Jaxson are both damaged in their own ways and have their own demons but they are pulled to each other. Jaxson can't help but want to claim her even if he just planned to live on his own in the mountains. The story pulls you in with the suspense and secrets and the chemistry between the characters.

So emotional
This book is an emotional whirlwind, I laughed, I cried, and I even cringed a couple of times along with the heroine. If you don’t mind getting a little teary eyed this book is awesome.

Sins of the past
This book is such a great addition to the Dark Moon Falls collection. I enjoyed the way the author kept the story moving and the twists and turns as the story progresses. The characters are well developed and they brought a depth to the story that kept me interested until the end. I think the best part might have been that the drama lasted right until the very end. I hope that the author brings us more books like this one to enjoy soon.

Rhee had to come home for her father’s funeral and she was dreading it because when she left her hometown she left for good. Jaxon saw Rhee at the bar that night and withheld information about himself from her. Their interesting and exciting story had danger, deception, crazy witches and a wolf in love. Fun read.

Shifter Romance is not my go-to, BUT this story has it all: heat and depth, family secrets and old grudges, plus an element of danger. The heroine is not brain-dead, which I love. Instead, she and the hero are both flawed but likable people a reader roots for. I enjoyed the matter-of-fact way the shifters were portrayed, which kept that aspect from getting in the way of the story. A great escape!

Set in the same town as previous books but story by another author so apart from the alpha and the pack plus the law men it's all new characters.so can read this series not in order.I loved when jackson walked into her room the head hear and t-shirt is all in saying I burst out laughing.I did think the bad people in this storyline was a little messy.
