I live in sunny Florida where I spend my days taxiing the family to various places while jotting down the many crazy thoughts inside my head. I enjoy a freelance career writing for several magazines sharing some of my interesting viewpoints on life and those around me. I can usually be found on my back porch watching the squirrels chittering at the birds while enjoying a cigar, a scotch, and the many characters that talk to me inside my head.
If you are looking for a paranormal romance with danger, and of course love, Dark Moon Falls: Logan by Robbie Cox would be a great choice. This is a voluntary review. This ebook is available on Amazon.
Dark Moon Falls is a series of books written by a variety of authors. Logan is by Robbie Cox. While this is my first book in the Dark Moon Falls series, it is not my first book by Cox. I will be looking for the other Dark Moon Falls stories, shortly. Logan is a wolf shifter…sigh…who is a loner after a violent and deadly past experience. His choice to live alone in the middle of the woods also allows him to constantly be on his toes to the happenings around him. Madison ends up on Logan’s porch after a vicious wolf attack. While healing Madison learns that she may not be out of danger. Logan and Madison learn to depend on each other in order to survive. Cox’s ability to create a world with characters where the reader wants to live is one of the reasons I love to read his books. A reader can easily escape to Dark Moon Falls through Cox’s vision and words! Definitely recommend Robbie Cox!
An agonizing situation for Logan who finds it necessary to close himself off from the world, the Pack Hunters and to come to terms with his brother’s death.
I love the intrigue of Madison’s journey into Logan’s life and how Dax, his German Shepard, is so protective of Madison. I also enjoy Logan’s emotional transformation to acknowledging his feelings for Madison and his determination to protect her. Although Logan needs to avenge his brother’s death, his need to keep Madison safe is his priority.
It's a joy the way Madison develops feelings for Logan after seeing how he is so at home in his cabin in the woods and the isolation as a comfort, not a seclusion. His unwavering concern for her and her safety is heartwarming as much as it is necessary. She is ready to make a life together with Logan and Dax in his remote cabin as their home.
I love this story about tragedy evolving into simple love and devotion.
Logan Rafferty and Madison Cross are two tortured souls. Logan feels that he has failed in his mission to keep the pack safe, and it cost him a life of someone near and dear to him, now he hides out in the forest away from people and prying eyes. She stumbles upon something that she was not supposed to see, and now she is on the run, wondering where she can go that is safe, how can she hide from hunters that want her gone. Logan comes home from Dark Moon Falls to find a wounded and bleeding Madison in a heap on his doorstep. With the help of a Local Coven Healer Dara, they help stitch up Madison and learn about the rouge wolves that attacked her in the forest. This Dark Moon Falls Book is part of a multi authored Series , and Logan is Robbie's contribution to this fascinating area in the Pacific Northwest mountains. Even if you haven't read paranormal books, this one will suck you in and won't let you go until you find out what has happened, and then you will want more. These two characters are injured physically as well as mentally and discover that they might just need each other to survive their traumas. and begin to feel whole again. As you read, Robbie's writing helps you see and feel the story as it unfolds. It has lots of action and drama, character angst and unsureness. You will discover as these two begin to heal that you find yourself rooting for their safety and wellbeing and maybe a little Happy ever after. Be sure to chose a time where you are unhindered and wont be bothered because you wont want to put it down,
This book is the perfect mix of paranormal romance, angst, danger, loneliness and redemption. Logan has been punishing himself for what he sees as his failure to protect his brother. Then Madison stumbles onto his front porch, injured by ferals. Now the loner is surprised by how much he enjoys her company and feels the need to protect her.
I received this book as an arc and voluntarily reviewed it . As usual it was another great read. I truly love this author's books. They get better and better. If you are a fan of romance, fantasy, shifters, start reading them. U get hooked easily. I have . Can't wait to read his next one.
This is the tale of a protector werewolf suffering from a version of PTSD that has him retreating from people. When he finds a young woman dying on his porch he is unprepared for the way she shakes up his world. This was a sweet and exciting romance. I can’t wait to dive into Deacon’s story.
