Youtube Algorithms: Hack the Youtube Algorithm | Pro Guide on How to Make Money Online Using your Youtube Channel - Build a Passive Income Business with New Emerging Marketing Strategies
If you’re new to internet marketing or business in general, I figured it would be a good idea to go over some basic concepts that will help you to understand the big picture of internet marketing. Most people coming into this industry approach Internet marketing completely the wrong way and don’t have the right idea of what some of these core business concepts really are. This lack of knowledge will only lead to more failures and frustration. I remember before I first started, I thought marketing was all about adverts and selling, which in my mind really meant pitching and “pushing” someone to buy something they may or may not really need. A lot of people have that idea, but it’s the wrong mindset completely. Let me explain… Let’s start out by talking about the “lifeblood” of all businesses and the economy – money. This word can evoke negative emotions in a lot of people, but it’s rather a lack of understanding and our upbringing that created this mindset. Money is simply energy and the measure of the value that you create, which is determined by what the market currently views as valuable. It’s simply just a physical and measurable way to show how much we or someone else values something. Money is neither good nor bad; it just magnifies more of who we already are. What Is Value? This can be subjective, but usually, it’s a solution to a problem, answer to a question, or something that brings a benefit to someone or something. In other words, anything that leaves someone or something in a better place than before. Believe it or not, how much money you have in your bank account right now is more or less how much value (or perceived value) you’ve delivered to society. The question you really need to ask yourself is how many people are you serving and how much value are you serving them? For example, let’s take movie stars. They get paid millions of dollars a year. Why? Because they are delivering value to millions of people through their movies. Then you may ask what about, for example, nursing and emergency services staff, who also deliver a lot of value by saving people’s lives. Why don’t they get paid millions? The limiting factor is the system they are working within, which pays them a salary instead of the results they deliver. They are also limited by the number of people they can serve at a time because they need to be there in person and there are only so many hours in a day.
Good tips but... I don't know. It was too boring to read. And the name is way too promising. The "hack" is hard work, consistency and dedication. That I knew before. Wanted to give 1 star but I understand Carli spent days writing the book. So 2 stars for effort.
However, it will be quite helpful to those who are just starting and probably have lived under the rock over the past couple of years and have no idea of what YouTube is and have no slightest idea of how it works. Then it could have earned 3-4 stars.
But one of the chapters was just too hard to understand. I got the idea but it all looked like a bad Google Translate translation.
I was expecting to read something like machine learning or IT-based-words, however what I found was "How to start and cultivate your Youtube channel". The tips was practical and important actually, but it was not what I really want based on the book title.
It has a pretty good overview of what it takes to gain followers on YouTube. Critically it is lots of short videos under 5 minutes with good tags. Also interactions with social media and collaborating with other YouTubers.
Also should have a script or at least a plan with what your video is about. Hook people in first 3-5 seconds.
He also has this list at the end: "hard work. Here are some final tips on how you can use YouTube as a useful business tool: 1. Know what you know and are capable of. 2. Know your goals. 3. Post as often as possible. 4. Know your target audience or market. 5. Know how to create a quality video. 6. Attract your audience by impressing them with your YouTube page as well as with your videos. 7. Be accessible and communicate with your audience frequently. 8. Always think of the outcome."
Yeah to be honest he's got a lot of good advice and it will probably take me some time to integrate it all.
Most of the content is useful, relevant and readable. However - it is obviously assembled from a couple different sources and authors as the writing style changes, it sometimes repeats, and the editing for Chapter 6 is a hot mess. Having said that, the books has a few good snippets and is worth the quick read if you’re looking to leverage YouTube in your business plan.
When i picked up this book (or downloaded it). I thought it would cover what SEO tricks or tips work best. And to be honest, there is some of that. Some of it feels contradictory, like how often to post. One chapter says twice a week and one chapter says once a week is optimal. Meh. Some useful information but no solid references.
The editing in this book is atrocious. It looks like the author cut and paste a lot of it. I also think that some of the sections were copied from other YouTube manuals, I remembered some of the specific verbiage used in the other books.
I've read a few books on Youtube already and most of them are gimmicks written by Youtubers who only want propaganda to pull you into their channel. This was one of the most helpful books out there. Good work.
This book introduces the how to on Youtube topic since there is a lot of questions of how to be a youtuber. There is a lot of basic chapters which appeals more on first-time users and a little advanced topics ahead for the medium level
Very detailed book on how to make YouTube videos work for you. The major theme about the book is to make videos on a consistent basis and also be collaborative with other creators.
