Oh No! The Rainbow Is Missing! And The Rumor Is All The Colors Are No Longer Friends. Friendship is essential, and Lil Bub, Wally, and Furry know this. They set out on a mission to get the colors back together because the kids need their rainbow, and friends need each other. Follow Lil Bub the whale, and his exciting pals, Wally the frog and Furry the bunny on their humorous, fun mission as they reunite friends and restore joy. Their story will captivate kids with catchy rhymes that lead from one page to the next. It's perfect for shared reading with a child and for children who are learning to sound out words and sentences.
Everyone should love to see a rainbow after it rains. Lil Bub (whale) told Wally (frog) something is missing. Furry (bunny) made a comment to the 2 of them also. The rainbow was nowhere in the sky. Red (rainbow) was lying on the grass. Orange (rainbow) was stuck in the mud. Rainbow colors: Yellow; Green; Blue; Violet; & Indigo looked kind of sad also. How did Lil Bub, Wally & Furry help the rainbow solve its problem?

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary; MS/HS age) fantasy educational storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s fantasy educational movie, a classroom presentation, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

The Missing Rainbow by C. Hagerman, the first in the Lil Bub and Friends Presents. The Missing Rainbow is about the friendship of a whale, a frog, and a bunny. They all loved watching the rainbow up in the sky until it went missing. I really like this book. It has colorful and cute illustrations; the words were simple but a bit repetitive. It is very engaging, and it teaches children a great lesson on conflict resolution. It’s 19 pages and is great for kids to learn about colors and those who are learning English as a second language.
The whale, Lil Bub, and his friends loved rainbows. Unfortunately, one day the rainbow disappeared. Apparently, the colours of the rainbow were not friends anymore. I liked the story, but it didn’t say why the colours are sad and angry with each other. I liked what Lil Bub and his friends did, but I didn’t like the repetition of the words again and again. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I found this short story on Amazon kindle. Oh how I had much higher hopes for this book! The illustrations were great , bright and colourful to engage children. I do think however that they should have explored why the colours fell out to encourage thinking of others feelings and working on a solution, instead of just repeating the same thing to each one. I feel like it has a lot of potential for having a stronger moral in it.
I liked the different rhyming scheme, the repetition to reinforce the message of forgiveness and the bright, good but simple illustrations. However, the book never explains what made the rainbow colors decide to split up and leave the sky in the first place. And I had to take a star away because the word "separate" is misspelled in the story.
My 7yr old loves this book. It’s a short but great rhyming story about friendship and how a little forgiveness can go a very long way, and working together will bring you more happiness than staying angry at each other. A lesson a few grown ups could learn too!
Daughter lived this story, it's got a lovely repeated message about forgiveness between friends and is a good introduction to all the colours of the rainbow.
The story didn't seem to be put together very well, nicely illustrated and it rhymed but why were the colors angry? rainbows are a special treat not seen every day!
Definitely can’t be read on kindle! The hard copy is a must! Very lovely story and enjoyable. My kids were so happy listening to me narrating it to them. 🌈 But why were the colours angry?
A story about the colors of the rainbow. They get mad & sad, so they separate. But in the end they get back together to form a rainbow. It explains how friends can make mistakes but still be friends.
Me and my daughter have really enjoying reading this book about friendship.Being together as a team make them a happy team that brought smile to others
