This is Book 1 in the Bad Boys of the City Series. This book is a steamy, hot and intense romance between fighter Knox and stripper Mila. Knox and Mila relationship starts of of rocky as they start to get to know one another. The chemistry and attraction is instant between these two and they both discover that they need to put there past behind them and move forward in life. This book is a love story that is filled with some drama, humor, and love.

A boy and a girl meet and they feel it. That something that keeps you wanting more. That's not the whole story though. A fighter and a stripper, they both have their own problems, their own insecurities. Can they fight through it and the blocks life throws them? A good romance with angst and love and the gift and sometimes burden of family.

This was my first read from this author so I had no idea what to expect. I loved the first person point of view telling of Knox aka The Knockout. He was a fun character to read, if self-absorbed in the "oh, look at me nobody can't get enough of me"kind of way. This was a good story.
