There's a legend amongst members of the Wicked Throttle MC. Something that's rooted deep into their DNA. Once a soul finds its other half, there is no going back. Only one option; love and claim at first sight.
But what happens when two hearts—perfectly matched, yet scarred by trauma—are barely on the mend to find each other again after years apart, only to have the past come back, and threaten to divide them again?
Can they face the threat while working on their personal issues? Or will their past diminish whatever future they might have because the last time almost killed them?
Beecher can be read as a HEA standalone. For a greater reading experience, recommended reading “Corban” Wicked Throttle MC #0.5 “Zerox” Wicked Throttle MC #1 “Barlow” Wicked Throttle MC #2 “Quill” Wicked Throttle MC #3 “Beecher” Wicked Throttle MC #4
Esther E. Schmidt is an USA Today bestselling author who loves to write MC (biker) series, Mafia Romance series, PNR series, contemporary romance series, and more. She's a graphic designer that also loves to write. She released her first series "Areion Fury MC" in October 2015. Esther lives in The Netherlands with her family, three daughters, and a crazy iguana. She loves to write about bad boy Alphas with a heart for only one woman. To make it a bit interesting, that woman needs to be a badass herself.
Out of all Esther books this one has to be my least fave. I really do enjoy when her MC guys find that one and never let go. This one was hard since Beecher found his one and only Val BUT!! Something happened that had these two pushing eachother away :/ and keeping their distance but Beecher really didn't he kept tabs on Val just kept his distance which was not alpha for me yes I know they both had some horrible shit happen to them i just wish they didn't spend 10 years in this bs limbo. 😑 but I was glad once that drama in the last book has these two finally fighting for their love. And dealing with demons from the past. So yeah.
Low angst, no ow/om drama, no cheating (when they finally got together),Drama, Secondary charas, sexy times, no virgins
Recommend- meh Cover-⭐⭐⭐
Slowinsta Separation 10ish years Second chance Pinning Push away both Violence Mentions of sexual assault Mention of Snuff films (that's what the demons where) Kidnapping Mentions of torture Both were with others (him more sexual her she did bdsm and is a Dom) No condom Pinning Hea Epilogue
I feel I have been waiting for Beecher's story forever! Which is funny because I only discovered this author back in January. Once I started reading her books, I couldn't stop....which leads me to this review. Before I start though, to get the full affect I highly recommend you read the previous books in this series. If you have read the previous books in this series, you will know that these guys are serious about their 'one'. The person that their soul connects to and once connected they will dive to the depths of hell to protect and keep them safe. Beecher has quite literally been to the depths of hell. His story has called to me from the first time I met him. I knew without a shadow of a doubt that he was a tortured soul, I just didn't realise how much. *splat......did you hear that noise? That was my heart and my tears as I hit chapter three! When Beecher reconnects with Valentina, holy shizz, I was not prepared in any way for the full trip! My heart! The emotions rolling off each page took my breath away!
'My love for you is greater than the universe that holds life itself'
.......and I an done!! Sobbing, snotty mess! This couple have been through so much. Will their second chance be over before it starts? You need to read it to find out!!
This was... Okay, I'm bit short for words. Shaw and Val story wasn't easy and light. It almost ended, before even really begun. I'm happy they were able to get a second chance and this time they fought for theirs HEA together, without letting another to hide.
Beecher (aka Shaw) & Val's story is intense, and has some pretty graphic descriptions of torture right at the beginning. If you've read the series, you know parts of what they've been through already. I would recommend reading the series in order, as well, rather than this as a stand alone. Although the couples in each book are different, there is an overarching storyline through the series, especially through Quill & Beecher.
Other than the torture scenes, I enjoyed the book & LOVED both Beecher & Val. I connected with them & rooted for their HEA. Their story is sweet, steamy & action-packed! There's also a really great HEA & possible preview into some 2nd gen books. : )
You just gotta love the Wicked Throttle MC’s destiny… that is once they see/meet their soulmate, not only are they meant to be but they are meant to be forever in one form or another. Nothing is more true in Beecher’s case. He met his one and only 10 years ago and life was perfect. That is until one tragic event. While Beecher and his woman, Val, come out of the horrendous events together, their personal scars break them apart. Both try to move on in their own way but have they succeeded? Fast forward 10 years and the couple are thrown back together. The events in this storyline broke my heart and had me rooting for the good guys. But even with a happy reunion will it be enough for Beecher and Val to recover from the past - Especially when the past they both thought was dead rears its ugly head?
Kudos Ms. Schmidt for giving us an Absolutely Fantastic storyline with lots of thrilling suspenseful action. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a book/series that this reader Highly Recommends (You won’t regret grabbing them up).
Esther E. Schmidt did a wonderful job on Beecher, the book was written well, the plot and characters were strong, the story was filled with many emotions. It will differently pull at your heart strings. Nothing about Beecher and Val's journey was easy, they have been through so much, more than anyone should ever have to through. Their journey was a rollercoaster, they had many ups and downs. They needed healing but more than anything, they needed each other, they completed and heal one another in a way that both of them needed. This was a great story. I'd suggest reading it. Thank you, Esther E. Schmidt. Great work :)
Beecher and Val have history and it's bad and runs deep. When they come together again, it's a chance for them to heal each other and themselves. If they can fight an enemy from the past, they might just make it...with a little help from their brothers.
This was an awesome story..it had the potential to get dark at times and I wasn't sure where Esther was going to go with it, but she gave you enough to understand without being too graphic. While each book can be read on its own, I needed to go back to Quill's book to see how we got hear. It'd make better sense if you do.
Great story..we got to connect with Maci's brothers and set up for the next generation.
Esther has hit it straight out of the park with Beecher and Val's story. From the minute I picked this book up I couldn't put it down! Holy crap this book tore my heart to pieces! From the very beginning I was drawn into Beecher and Val's world and it tore right through me and I felt their pain. I'm so glad Val didn't give up on him when it seemed like everyone else wasn't so sure. I'm grateful than in the end they found their happiness with one another and I loved seeing that all play out. I loved seeing the boys of Broken Deeds as well. I absolutely love this book and series.
Wicked Throttle MC Book 4 Beecher, is such a fantastic story it’s the one we’ve all been waiting for having read so much about Beecher in all the other Wicked Throttle books. Beecher and Val have always had a love so strong but circumstances pulled them apart now years later the same situation brings them back together. What follows is an emotional story that breaks your heart. Wicked Throttle MC is a brilliant series with sexy men strong women and lots of love and adventures to keep you entertained. Esther E Schmidt brilliant as always.
This was another good book by Esther. I can't wait for either maci's brother's or the next generation. Hopefully the brothers. Not ready for all my favorites to be old enough for the kids to be ready to date lol. Like still thinking of them young. Just finished reading kristen ashley new book and all my favorites in there are way older now. So I'm going to be sad in Esther guys get older too. Lots of drama here and enough characters from other MC. Can't wait for the next book.
I'm a big fan of Esther books. It's been a long time coming for Beecher's story but so worth the wait. I know his story was going to be heartbreaking with the glimpse that we got from the other books in the series. But we see that the legend of this MC away finds a way to make it come true. Love Val and Shaw's story.
I originally read the introductory story to this series a couple of years ago and somehow never got round to reading the rest of them. I'm so glad I finally did....to the point I have bought the whole series and have devoured them in a weekend!!! Beecher and Val's story is my favourite of the series. Awesome insta-love stories with a suspenseful MC twist, highly recommended.
I loved the darkness in this book! Experiencing a horrific event together should have pulled them closer, leaning on each other, dealing and healing together but ended up tearing them apart. Love just wasn't enough. BUT... This is a second chance love story and we get to sit back and watch them reconnect and heal.
I just discovered this author and I'm totally hooked!!!! This was an amazing journey and I can't wait to read the rest of her series. Fantastic story lines, great characters, and all the right emotions. I'm looking forward to a long and happy reading with this author.
I love Ms. Schmidt's books and this was a long awaited read. It was so worth it. A loving story with the mc`s uniting showing family that sticks together to save others. Full of such perfect characters.
The curse is real even though sometimes you have to go through the bad to get to the happy ending in this book. The mysteries Beaches story is told and Val and him will find there way home.
Love this series and the love at first site myth! Lol! Beecher had so many layers throughout this series and finally finding out the heart of his layers has been funnyet heartwrenching! LOVE LOVE LOVE this couple!
Beecher and Val have finally got their happy ending after what they went through. Although they'll always have the past trying to get in but they will fight and not give up, great job author Esther E Schmidt.
A real heartbreaker of a story but it does have a HEA. Beecher and Val were always meant to be together but their journey there is hard fought. A great plot, with many twists and turns, well worth the read.
This one, to be honest? I kept putting it off as we read in previous stories, how he has been with women, so I didn't think I would like this one. I loved it actually. Very heartbreaking in parts, but it was so good. Great addition to the series.

Absolutely loved Beecher and Val, so worth the wait!! Esther e Schmidt really knows how to deliver an amazing read! I was so glad to see Broken Deeds MC make an appearance :)
Wow this couple went through so much when so young and barely escaped, they have been tortured by the memories and it has impacted on how they live their lives ever since. If two people deserve to be happy its them. This story takes us from Beecher recovering into the future and the next generation and new start. There is action, abuse and violence portrayed during this exciting plot, there is also some heartache and pain, but the main thing I took from it was the deep and everlasting love the two characters had for each other even when they were apart. It survived despite the odds and all that was done to them, it made them stronger when events and people threatened more harm to them. The support from both MC's was fabulous and it was wonderful to have so many favourites in one book. As always Esther has outdone herself with a brilliant and unique story to completely entertain her readers both new and old, I can never get enough of her books and will never tire of jumping in when I hear whisper of a new one coming my way.
