This book is focussed, energising, and convicting. In a world flooded with devotionals that are wishy-washy and luke-warm in Christian sentiment, this is a breath of fresh air. The simplicity of the devotionals bely the depth of research contained in them, both secularly and theologically, and the succinctness achieved is quite remarkable. If you are looking for a devotional that gives you warm fuzzies and leeway to stagnate in your spiritual walk, don’t buy this book – it will leave you flat out of excuses for your lack of spiritual warfare in this world and in your heart. If however, you are looking to grow in Christlikeness in practical, Biblically ways, this book is a powerful weapon tool to acquire.
