AmbulAnts: Fighting CoronaVirus Together

Rate this book
The AmbulAnts series of books were due to launch later this year. All the characters were mapped out and had not long finished writing the first book. However I was inspired to write this book and have it published as soon as possible after re-living my day as I lay in bed just a few weeks back. Not long before the coronavirus lock down but just as people were starting to self isolate so that all of our children would feel a little less scared and confused about the coronavirus pandemic and its life changing effects. You see, as a family we had to self isolate early on as my wife Lucy, my daughter Gemma and my son Matthew, all work for the N.H.S. That day, two specific things happened….The first was when I found myself talking to my granddaughters through their living room window, when all we really wanted to do was to play, get hugs n kisses and to just be in their company. This was the first time I cried that day as we drove away. The second was later that evening I watched a video of my son, face timing from work with Layla & Ellie before they went to bed, although pleased to see their daddy, he was in full PPE and they looked confused and scared. I lay there and got to thinking about all the young kids who must be wondering what on earth is going on. I'm hoping this book will help in some way to help your children understand just a little and hope that they won't be as scared of coronavirus or ambulance crews.

Fun

A very simple but cool way to work with kids in meeting the guidance for keeping people safe. It is sad that it has still come to this but keep it safe and the ambulance people won’t have to join forces with the AmbulAnts!
