💎Bryce-
When I open the text my breath stills in my lungs. It’s a picture of me and Mallory. We are probably twelve or thirteen, but I don't remember ever seeing this picture. We are in her backyard both holding onto a mason jar full of lightnin’ bugs. This was something we did every summer, just me and her. Mallory is looking down at the jar and smiling ear to ear. My hands are over hers holding the jar, but I’m not worried about the bugs. My eyes are focused on Mallory. I’m staring at her like she’s my world. She is my world, always has been.
I can't take my eyes off the picture.
💎Mallory-
Bryce has always been mine, in my heart at least.
I finally get to her back yard and just like I suspected she’s in the back corner catching lightnin’ bugs in her hand then letting them fly free. She is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She spins around when the bugs light up around her and she looks so happy and at peace even with the evidence of tears on her face.
I walk towards her mesmerized by the sight of her. I’m so entranced I almost miss it but when the bugs light up around her face I see the tears falling down her cheeks. Shit, why is she crying? If that fucker she’s dating hurt her, I swear I will kill him. She must catch a glimpse of me out of the corner over her eye because she stops spinning and drops her head trying to wipe the tears from her face.
“Bryce, why are you here?” She asked me, sounding so broken that it almost brings me to my knees.
“I knew you would need a mason jar to put your lightnin’ bugs in,” I say holding the jar up, “but what I want to know is what made you cry?” I say going to stand toe to toe with her. She drops her chin to her chest and just shakes her head.

"I’ve loved you since the moment I laid eyes on you.”
I really enjoyed this one. How could I give anything but 5 stars since I finally found a book that has everything I'm always looking for. The H/h have known each other since they were kids, dual virgin, no others during separation and an H that sheds some tears for the h when she's hurt . I found myself so engrossed in the story from page one and physically felt the heartbreak from both mc's. It's so refreshing that they both stayed true to the other even though they each thought the other had moved on. Loved. That. So. Very. Much. This is one of the most satisfying books I've ever read. No abuse, no OM/OW drama and epilogue is 7 years out.

Bryce and Mallory have know each other forever and have loved each other almost as long. Too bad neither one of them confessed those feelings. Life doesn't stop, both of them hurting but too scared to take a chance. Fortunately for them, their families are tired of watching them suffer and bring them back home. When face to face, it is impossible to deny how they really feel. This was a cute read. I loved the simplicity, the purity of their love. The scenes from childhood and the present of catching fireflies combined with that cover was summertime magic. A lovely story and a great way to while away a summer afternoon.

-I'm not a fan of pussy heroes so this guy let me down, he assumed the h was dating someone else and instead of talking to her he acted like an ass and ignored her for years... I also didn't like the type of friendship he had with his new female friend (the h was supposed to be his bff but now he calls this girl his best friend 🙄), I felt like he replaced the h the only difference is that he didn't have feelings for her... I didn't like how touchy feely she was with him, like in one scene she held his face in her hands and kissed his cheek, in another she ran to him and jumped into his arms, wtf? the hero even said that people always made assumptions that they were dating because they were always together... the girl was nice and didn't have feelings for him but I still didn't like her... after the MCs got together the girl moved to another city for work (I think they were roommates 🥴), I wonder if she's still going to be that affectionate with the H now that he's with the heroine 🤔

A super sweet story sprinkled with some angsty feels. I hope that statement makes a little bit of sense... Bryce and Mallory have known each other for years and have loves each other just as long. When a terrible misunderstanding occurs it tears them apart for years. This is where meddling family members come into play. They all see just how much these two love each other and how perfect they are together.
While reading this book you will feel all the feelings the characters do. So be prepared when they are upset and hurt do not be surprised if a tissue or two is needed. Also do not be surprised when things are going well that you feel the joy and happiness they feel. Oh and lets not forget the steamy scenes... well you get the picture..

His Forever Bug
I fell in love with this book cover months ago when it was revealed and did an immediate one-click. I have gotten more excited every time I saw it. Luckily Mallory and Bryce had a meddling family who had finally had enough.
This was the perfect blend of sweet and steamy and I found myself having plenty of "awe" moments.
I'm curious to see if we get Zach and Jameson's story at some point....it was too much of a hint for Autum to just leave us hanging 😉

One of the sweetest romances I’ve ever read!l. The prologue was amazing! It made my heart melt! Mallory and Bryce has loved each other since they were 5 years old. Due to some misunderstandings, they stopped talking to each other. They will have to overcome and communicate to resolve everything to get to their HEA. The emotions that comes out of the story will make you smile, tear up or make your heart clench. This is a book I will definitely re-read again!

Wow this book was filled with ups and downs. There were times I was so frustrated with Bryce. Wasn’t sure why he never took the chance with Mallory, and she had opportunity too and always chickened out. The angst was well written and you felt their pain. So much misunderstanding and missed opportunities. Loved the best friend Zach, loved how Mallory’s parents accepted him and brought him into their family. Was glad him and Bryce’s brothers decided they were not going to let these two be separated any longer. Sweet epilogue with babies.

Two best friends drifted apart because of one big assumption. The story was sweet and sugary of best friends-turned-lovers romance with all the right elements: close-knitted families, the involvement of MC's extended family, family value, and smalltown warm. Reading this definitely warm your heart with all the summer spark and swaying romance goodness. Safe short read with little bit twist nearing the end, but nothing true love cant handle.

Another Great read from this author. I Loved reading the progression of Bryce's love for Mallory. We see how since these two were children they have loved each other and had planned on being each other's forever. But going off to college and misinformation has caused a rift between these two. True love tackles all, and Bryce gets his Bug back, and he knows that he will never let her go. Loved these two!! I can't wait for Autum's next release!!!!

I found this story to be another hit for the Autum Remington. This is the story of Bryce and Mallory they grew up together. Everything Bryce did was for him and Mallory to have good life. A misunderstanding separated the two star crossed loves. This story flows so easy from start to finish. This is a wonderful love story. I hope Autum Remington continues with town so we can get some more great stories.

Even in books there can be misunderstandings. Mallory and Bryce have loved eachother since childhood, but when he sees her home from college with another man he thinks he has lost Mallory. Tackling Lightning Bugs was a wonderful emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. Bryce and Mallory are childhood friends and soulmates however missed opportunities and misunderstandings keep them apart for years. Amazing, heartbreaking and wonderfully romantic! All the stars!!

Oh my gosh this story was just too cute! Bryce has been in love with his next door neighbor Mallory since they were kids. A misunderstanding draws them apart but circumstances and a VERY determined family bring them back together. Their love was just so sweet and this book was such an easy fast read. Highly recommend!

This story was so sweet and romantic 😍 💕 it pulled on my heartstrings 🥰 The first and everlasting love, but some misunderstandings made it hard for them to get their HEA. After an intervention on Mallorys and Bryce's side they finally got together ❤ I really loved this story they were both their one and only, nobody could compare (DV😍). A sweet and safe story ❤

Bryce and Mallorys story is truly amazing and one I just couldn't out down. I really enjoyed how much they loved each other so much. Stories like this are some of my favorites.

It was sweet but repetitive most of the time and the twist at the end wasn’t at all necessary for the story. They already had theirs happy ever after.
