The ADHD Sibling Challenge: How to Thrive When Your Brother or Sister Has ADHD. An Interactive Family Guide is a wonderful book written by Child Psychiatrist Barton Herskovitz, This is a compulsary reading for family members and people close to children who have ADHD. It is a book with a very clear and simple reading; the simplicity and clarity of the words given by specialists are sometimes a requirement when understanding the behavior of children with ADHD. I was surprised that a book with so few pages could be so useful and easy to carry out. We are used to books with a lot of technicality and difficult vocabulary to understand current syndromes. Parents are often the ones who need the most help to be able to carry out a parenting that is beneficial for the progress of these children, but in this case it focuses mainly on the siblings of these children and the daily challenges they must face and how parents, with simple techniques, can lead a harmonious coexistence. Support, containment and advice it will hopefully provide an important step to create a mutual more balance and understanding. mutual in the family. It is raelly a must read for all families with children with ADHD. It is a highly recommended book.

Great read and presents a ton of useful information and methods. Check this one out folks, it is worth the time to read.
I have two sons, one with ADHD and one with ADHD and severe autism. While this book is geared toward assisting a non-ADHD sibling with understating their sibling, I found that this instead helped my ADHD son better understand both himself better and to cope with his autistic brother. Overall, the book did a good job of avoiding negative language and attitudes towards differences and difficulties. The author included many self-assessment sections to help build understanding while avoiding condemning or downplaying possible negative feelings. A good read for anyone with an ADHD child, children, parent, sibling, best friend, etc.
